Almiera Shofia Prameswary's
Today it seems like fate is really testing me, after last night's events that left me unable to close my eyes until morning, now on the way home the car that used to accompany the days now must be indulged in following the care for a few days at the car repair shop that is my subscription. Though the distance I have to go home is still quite far, but in this condition there is still something that makes me smile even though I feel sorry to have to invite him to this condition.
"Why's the car, Auntie? Don't want to walk?"
Innocently from inside the car he asked that. I smiled in response.
"Dear, sorry Auntie, because the car does not want to walk so long we sampe to the house."
Syafina kept smiling, she was not at all afraid, worried or fussy about what was happening to both of us at this time.
A while had passed, a car stopped right behind my car parked beside a large road waiting for a tow truck to take it. Me and Syafina who were waiting in the car watched the car closely, worried that the person in it meant no good, because it was already dark.
But it turns out, I like to know the person who just got off the car behind it. His face was quite familiar, with a tall white stature and well-dressed. He walked over to my car and knocked on the front door window. I rolled down the car's door glass after it felt like the guy was harmless.
"Hello, this is Mira, right?"
The man found out my name, while I tried to remember the familiar face, but a moment later I still could not remember it.
"Mmmhhh, who's sorry?"
The man reached out to introduce himself.
"Andrew, inget?"
After he said the name, it turns out I still do not remember a single thing about the person who claimed to know me.
"Andrew's? Which one is it? Sorry, I forgot."
She smiled, with a very sweet smile, adding to the charm of good looks and compassion, I think every young woman will definitely love it when she sees a man as perfect as Andrew, but dear, my heart is not interested in him, because I have fallen in love with someone I did not expect.
"We used to go to seminars together."
Andrew explained briefly about our introduction first. I started to smile as the moment started to cross my mind.
"Oh, you? How are you?"
I got out of the car after remembering about him. Back when I attended a health seminar, I met him and we had a chat about each of them but after that we did not communicate too much because it was busy with each other's affairs so I did not really remember it.
"Well, what are you doing here? It's dark."
"My car broke down again, wait for the mechanic."
"Owh, who is that? Your child?"
Andrew pointed to the little boy in my car, who was none other than Syafina.
"No, he's my neighbor's son. Honey here, acquaintance with auntie."
Syafina got out of the car and walked over to us who were chatting next to my striking car.
"Syaphena." She said plainly as she extended her small hand. Andrew did not return Syafina's hand, but instead carried it.
"Syafina, you know Andrew's name, you just call me En aja, ok?"
Syafina smiled. I didn't think Andrew was easy to get close to a kid.
After waiting for a while finally the mechanic from the car repair shop I just contacted arrived, he said, but after checking the damage to my car it turns out they can not fix it and suggest to take it with a tow truck to the workshop to be repaired there, by being forced to finally my car must be carried by a tow truck workshop that became a subscription to my car.
"I'm anterin home, huh?"
Actually I was not feeling well when Andrew offered to take me home, but for now I have no other choice, the day has darkened and my journey to the house is still quite far away, maybe it could be dangerous if women like me returned home using public transportation at night with fairly quiet road conditions.
"Oh yeah, why are you here?"
On the way I took the time to find out about Andrew, also about the reason he was in the area, because as far as I know Andrew doesn't work at hospitals around here.
"It's a long story, but the point is that I'm moving to a big private hospital in town."
It turns out that Andrew is not an indiscriminate medical worker, unlike me who is just a general medical officer.
"Oh yeah, you have a partner? Or maybe a family?"
I didn't think Andrew would ask that without further ado.
"Not yet, why?"
"Nothing, just afraid that something might go wrong."
I did not respond again to Andrew's words and preferred to rub the hair and head of Syafina who turned out to have fallen asleep in my lap.
After arriving home, Andrew left without stopping by, but we exchanged phone numbers before I got out of his car.
I walked in holding Syafina who was still soundly asleep. But a moment later his voice surprised me.
Syafina's tiny hands rubbed her eyes and yawned and then hugged me again, putting on her remaining drowsiness.
"Well, how do you wake up, baby?"
Syafina did not answer my question, but her eyes did not return closed.
"You're the laper, huh? We haven't eaten yet."
Syafina nodded slowly. After putting all the luggage, I immediately cooked instant noodles with added cow's eye eggs on it to just fill the stomach, although in fact this food is not good in consumption for children of the age of Syafina, who are not, but for once this is fine as long as not to consume it too often.
After I finished eating, Syafina and I decided to take a break because the night before I could not close my eyes. Syafina slept in a warm blanket wrapped in decapank to keep her warm. I gently rubbed his hair and head again until without feeling my cheeks began to get wet again considering what had happened yesterday, the sound of a hiccup was increasingly adding to the tightness in the chest, he said, but soon I got rid of all that sadness when suddenly Syafina turned around and held me in her sleep, I smiled and then I kissed her forehead, not felt as long as she was here I loved her more.
This morning the sun woke me up late to wake up, its warm strokes on my face and body forced me to open my eyes, a glare that I thought made me turn away from it until I realized that Syafina was no longer by my side.
Immediately I moved from there that did not stop tempting me to laze. The gurgling sound of water in the bathroom led me there and when I opened the door, I found Shafina soaking up her little body. I who did not plan to shower immediately was tempted by the joy of Syafina when the water flushed his body.
"Tante's taking a shower ah."
Finally Syafina and I took a bath together, long enough we were there enjoying the laughter that turned out to make me happy and for a moment forget the problems that befell. After about twenty minutes I decided to finish what we had just enjoyed.
"Honey yes, later if it hurts again later."
After finishing the bath, Syafina and I were getting ready to go to the usual activities, Syafina was forced to always take me to work as long as her father had not returned. This I do because I may leave him alone at home, I do not have the heart to do such a thing, especially I love Syafina.
Ttiit...
When it was almost finished, there was a sound of a car horn that seemed to be in front of the house, I peeked from the window apparently the same car that yesterday drove me home.
"Andrew's? Why come here early in the morning?" Mumamku himself.
I opened the front door to meet him. Andrew got out of the car and walked over.
"Morning."
She still held the same smile.
"By the morning, Andrew, what are you doing here?"
"You pick you up, make your anther to work, your car's still in the workshop, right?"
I can't help but guess what it was that he came here for, but I don't want to be so confident that Andrew came here to pick me up.
"Yes, but don't bother En, I can take public transportation."
"No need, as long as your car's still not done, I'll pick you up."
I can't refuse to invite Andrew, and even if I refuse, it seems like he'll force it.
"Yes, but I'm with Syafina, is that okay?"
"Little kid yesterday, right?"
"Yes, because his father hasn't come home yet."
"Yes, it's okay."
Not wanting to make him wait for long, Syafina and I hurried and set off at work with Andrew, he seemed so easy to get close to Syafina that we looked like a happy family couple.
"Oh, baby, what did your dad do?"
Andrew was curious about what Syafina's father was doing so he had to leave it to Mira.
"Dad likes to write, Om."
"Who's writer?" Ask Andrew. But I don't know what his father's job is, because he never told me about all his life background, but I also realized that maybe I was nobody to him so I didn't have the right to know all about his personal life.
I shrugged my shoulders indicating I didn't know about it.
"What is his father's name?"
Andrew seemed to be curious about Syafina, to the point of having to know about what Syafina's parents did.
"His name is Angga, Angga Abimana."
Instantly Andrew was speechless hearing the name coming out of my mouth, it seemed like something was troubling his mind.
"Why? Is there anything else in mind?"
Andrew shook his head, but a moment later he was back as before.
"I'm a kayak who once knew that name, but where is it?"
I didn't respond too much because it's possible that the name Andrew was referring to was a similar or similar name but with a different person.
