A widower? Hot Daddy's.

A widower? Hot Daddy's.
Part 5's

A week has passed since that incident, thank God they are not hostile to each other without cause and the three of us have also started to get along, especially Ana and Mira, the three of us, they sometimes like to communicate on social media with comments, but from the language they use it still seems a little stiff, hopefully when Ana stayed at Mira's house yesterday they had a chat. The script I was working on was finished and was just waiting for the results, for a while I put myself aside for one week so that the body and mind would be refreshed. The time to write one book to finish is quite tiring plus my sleep time becomes irregular because sometimes the inspiration comes not knowing the time to not feel when writing sometimes to forget the time.

In the afternoon the sky is not as bright as usual, he was moping, durja, either what is going on with him or maybe because humans are not so loving and only need when he is beautiful to capture the moment. Lucky my days are not like that, Syafina's smile that has not been burdened with the desire to hold the world can always make me happy. There was a sense of bitter as he grew older every day, the affection that was never obtained from his mother who had died, at a glance like nothing, had no effect, but I understood that behind his sometimes empty gaze, there was a hope of regaining what he had lost.

"Well, look."

Syafina showed the results of what she had drawn with happiness, it was not perfect but has such a deep meaning that describes the feeling of longing, longing for a mother. Syafina is quite fond of drawing even from the age of two years she has started to like doodling paper on my desk, until finally slowly but surely, he said, his ability in drawing is quite good for a child his age, if I support him to develop with what interests him, he said, maybe someday Syafina's ability will be the way of life like what I live today.

"Good baby, it turns out Dad's son is great."

Behind the praise I gave, there was a sense of haru that was able to touch the feeling until unconsciously a drop of water dripped at the end of the eye saw a picture of a woman without a face who stood holding the hand of a little girl beside her, what I believe is that little girl is herself.

In line with what I think at this time, the rain spots began to fall slowly but surely turned into heavy rain.it occurred to me to invite Syafina to enjoy her childhood playing rain water, and then she would like to, which in this day and age may be rare for a child to enjoy childhood with the experience of enjoying nature, many of the young children who have to continue to be sedated by development can damage their mental growth without proper education and supervision from parents.

"Darling, if I'm not sure you're playing in the rain, would you like to?"

Hearing my invitation Syafina sumringah and enthusiastic, he immediately cleaned up the equipment to join her and brought her to the room to be stored at her study table.

"Come, Dad."

Syafina immediately ran out, the increasingly heavy rain made me and Syafina instantly drenched. I carried and occasionally twisted my body and Syafina who was in a sling until a little dizzy, but Syafina's laughter was getting broken, I was happy to see her happy like this, she said, the weight that felt heavy was like a moment of lifting.

"Auntie."

Syafina shouted when she saw Mira who had been smiling since seeing the ridiculous behavior of the two of us in front of her house. Mira waved her hand at Syafina.

"The rains don't last long, they'll hurt."

Mira advised us who are still cool to enjoy the rain that has not subsided since. Five minutes will certainly not be enough for him to play rain this time. The rustling of the rain disguised Mira's voice, which in the end made her approach us. After about ten minutes passed, Mira invited Syafina to stop.

"Honey, yuk, it'll hurt."

Without needing to be asked twice, Syafina finally followed what Mira said. Mira carried Syafina and brought her into my house, she did not care about her wet clothes because she was carrying Syafina who was soaked by rain water.

"Go take a shower, aunt bathe."

I waited for them outside in soaked clothes, but before long Mira came back out and brought me a towel to temporarily dry my body and hair.

"Thank you."

Somehow I was like a guest in my own house until I didn't dare to go in when Mira and Syafina were still in the bathroom, I prefer to wait for them while sitting on the chair where I used to chat with Mira. The rain still did not stop, but it was not as hard as before, I began to smile but not because the rain was expected to stop soon, but in my brain now being imagined something crazy that is impossible to happen, I imagine that right now I, Mira and Syafina are one happy family, she said, and it made me ashamed of myself even more when I didn't realize the person in my shadow was standing in the doorway and smiling strangely at me.

"What's wrong with you, Mom?"

"Eh, no, no why, I take a shower first."

"Udah?"

Realizing my arrival, Mira smiled and then approached me, I who had no history of heart defects felt strange, my heart beating rapidly for a fraction of a second until it finally returned to normal when Mira passed me and walked towards my kitchen. I don't know what he wanted to do, but I didn't ask or forbid it. Before long Mira returned with three cups of warm drink on the tray in her hand, two cups of tea for me and herself and one glass of milk for Syafina.

"Let's not cold."

He said as he put the drink on Syafina's study table. Mira has entered my house several times and seems to know where I usually keep all the kitchen needs so that he does not need to ask again when making tea and warm milk, but I guess because my house and kitchen are also small so it's very easy to remember or find things there.

"I'm ahead of ya."

I left Mira and Syafina in her room, however unpleasant it feels that no muhrim is in the same room even though there is still Syafina.

For a moment I again enjoyed the rain that had turned into a small drizzle accompanied by a cup of tea made by Mira that was able to warm from the inside while from the outside I wrapped my body with a thick sweater complete with the hood that I wear to cover my ears and hearing. It was quiet to enjoy the quiet and solitude, but it did not last long because my nose was suddenly disturbed by the smell of the cuisine that I had so memorized. I used to cook omelet for Syafina when there was no side dish to eat. This fragrance seemed to come from inside my own house, I guessed that Mira was in the kitchen and preparing food for Syafina, the rice was already on the rice coocker that I had been cooking since noon, I was cooking, so I guess Mira just made the side dish. I let him do whatever he wants just for once in a while and not every day.

"Mas, eat yu? The food is ready."

I scrunched my forehead a little, it turns out Mira prepared food for all of us.

"Come on, it's still an angel."

Looking at me who was just silent, Mira pulled my hand towards the small dining table beside the kitchen, there was already a neatly arranged plate, rice and side dishes, he said, although only limited to an omelet, but quite appetizing.

"I'm eating here."

I smiled, saying that it was inappropriate to refuse the request of someone who had helped me, even if Mira did not eat here I would invite her and force her to eat together. Mira took rice for me and Syafina who had sat behind the dinner table, it really felt like a happy family, but unfortunately at a time like this the shadow of Syafina's biological mother suddenly flashed, makes my smile feel bitter.

"Mas, ko daydreaming? My cooking's not good, is it?"

Again, Mira turned out to be watching me, and thanks to her words earlier now Syafina was looking at me while chewing the food in her mouth, her gaze was like asking "Dad why?"

"Eh, it's not ko, it's delicious, isn't it baby? Auntie's cooking is good, right?"

I try to divert the conversation and try to make the atmosphere of eating warm. Syafina nodded and continued eating cheerfully. At first glance I saw Mira blushed in shame, it was clear that her cheeks were slightly flushed red and I admit, Mira is indeed beautiful, but I will still bury the dream to find a replacement for Viona, especially with my current status. After finishing eating, I cleaned the dishes and spoon we used, I deliberately did so as not to bother it. We sat back at the dinner table to listen to Shafina's babble that made me and Mira laugh. But suddenly Syafina came down from her chair and sulked for help in the car after a sudden lightning noise came and the electricity instantly went out, my attention was focused on holding Syafina until she unconsciously held my hand tightly, maybe the sound of lightning and the power outage also made her shocked. Slowly I let go of her hand and held Syafina and then held her, not realizing that my hand reflexively clasped back the hand Mira I had released, which was still there. I turned on the flashlight app on the phone and then I put it on the table. The light was enough to light up all three of us. Syafina Semk got closer to me while Mira sometimes clasped my hand tighter as the thunder came thundering. I again let go of Mira's hand while still holding Syafina, I shifted the seat I was sitting on to get closer to her, and after sitting down, I moved the seat, I again clasped his hand but this time Mira refused my hand and preferred to lean her head against mine, her left hand rubbed the back of Syafina who was in my lap, while her right hand again grasped my left hand. I felt like I was freezing in this situation even though my blood flow seemed to be heating up due to the increasingly tight heart rate, but it did not last long, the electricity flow was off for only about an hour. Mira let go of her grip and headrest, our gaze met with a smile knot wrong behavior that was clearly drawn on the expression of the face, lucky Syafina did not see the incident, it was, he was already asleep in my lap when the flow was still happening earlier. Immediately I laid Syafina in her room, Mira was waiting for me in the guest room, the weather outside seemed to have returned to normal and not scary.

"Hhhmm, go straight home whatever you want..."

Not finished with my sentence, Mira immediately cut it off.

"I'm home, I don't feel good."

I drove Mira home, after thanking her for everything she did, I immediately returned home, worried about Syafina falling asleep alone in her room.
