After finishing making wedding dress fittings, Nathan and Mikayla are now sitting opposite each other in a cafe not far from the boutique. The situation seemed quiet and awkward, there was only the sound of music and a few customers talking.
Two cups of coffee that still looked hot billowed gently, "What does Big Brother want to talk to me about?" Mikayla asked breaking the silence.
"I want our marriage to be a secret." Nathan replied that in the end expressed the content of his thoughts.
Mikayla's heart throbbed with pain but she kept trying to calm down, "Is it because of your lover?" Mikayla asked, looking into Nathan's eyes tightly.
"Hem, I don't want to hurt her with this unwanted marriage. Besides, I'm also graduating soon and you still have to finish your education in high school." Nathan replied as he was.
Mikayla was only able to tighten her jaw, not showing any response from her body movements. A long sigh sounded, "Sister should be honest with him if brother is going to marry me, I don't care if married at 17 years old." Mikayla tries to negotiate with Nathan.
"I can't, I told you I don't want to hurt him. However, our relationship has always been fine and there have been no problems in the past year." Reject Nathan firmly.
"But there's something that you forgot. Brother would also hurt me if I was still in a relationship with another woman after marrying me." Said Mikayla who was still staring fixedly at Nathan.
"Do you love me?" Nathan asked back.
"If so, what would you like?" Mikayla answered defiantly.
"Never love me, because my love is already for Laura. Anyway, I won't leave her Mika, if you want to back out of this marriage better than now because I'll never be able to love another woman even if it's you." Nathan said at length that made Mikayla's heart ache.
"Really, did you not want to try it first. Didn't you also refuse when applying for him on the basketball court the other day? If she loves you, shouldn't she accept your proposal." It was Cecar Mikayla who made the conversation even hotter.
Nathan widened his eyes until they were perfectly rounded, "Where were you guys eavesdropping on my conversation with Laura?" Nathan replied with an annoyed smile.
"For what reason, the basketball court is a public court. You're the only one who doesn't know where, at school but makes a proposal. Unfortunately, the proposal was rejected." Mikayla said that she did not want to lose.
"Laura thought about her future, so she said that." Elak Nathan with a long sigh.
"Thinking about time with brother? Never mind, you better be honest with that woman or I'll tell her myself. Do you think he won't know our marriage, remember the best proverb we keep the carcass will eventually smell too." Mikayla answered by taking the bag and getting out of the chair.
Mikayla leaves and does not want to hear any further how Nathan so clearly chooses Laura over her, thinking of Laura's feelings rather than her heart. Nathan just stared at Mika's departure from behind the cafe window.
Until Mikayla got into a taxi and walked away from her sight, a long sigh rang out. Nathan rested his back on the back of the chair. Quiet for a moment, thinking about today's conversation until the vibration of the phone disperse the daydream.
Seen Laura's name appears on the screen of his cellphone, Nathan raised and immediately got a question from a woman who is currently still his status as his lover.
"Darling! Where are you? Why not go to school? Are you sick, quickly answer. You're okay aren't you?"
Nathan remained silent until Laura's voice weakened, "I'm fine with just a little business." The answer.
"What business?" Laura asked who wanted to know everything about Nathan.
"It doesn't matter why you called me. Go back to class, I'll pick you up later." Nathan replied that made Laura cheer for the day.
"All right, I'll be waiting for you. Love you." - Love you." Laura said that Nathan didn't reply.
As the phone call was cut off, Nathan immediately got up from his seat and decided to return to the mansion. While Mikayla, only able to cry without a sound in the taxi threw her eyes out the window staring at whatever was in her way..
"Non, where are we going?" Ask the taxi driver.
"The city park." Mikayla replied in a hoarse voice.
Taxi cars that have since only run without direction are now heading to the city park, only taking ten minutes taxi car stop. Soon Mikayla pays a taxi and walks out to one of the park's empty benches.
As the sun rose higher and higher, Mikayla woke up from her sleep, after being in the park for a while she decided to go home to rest. As a result of crying makes Mikayla feel sleepy and now just woke up.
Nathan is driving to his school. He had promised to pick up Laura and they would go somewhere, traveling about twenty-five minutes. The car stopped not far from the school gate.
The girl with the beautifully wrapped ramput ran towards him, the car door opened and closed quickly. There was a sound of breathing from running. Nathan immediately took a bottle of water from the side of the door and gave it to Laura.
"Why run." Her speech.
"Because I waited for you for so long, look until my face flushed red from the heat of the sun." Laura replied wryly.
Nathan just sighed softly, "I picked you up from school anyway, why ask for daylight like this. Didn't you take any extra classes?" Nathan asked, looking up at Laura.
"I'm lazy, I keep thinking of you. You're not leaving on any business." Laura said she wanted to know.
"We better have lunch first."
Nathan didn't answer Laura's questions, he started the car engine, and walked away from the school area. From a distance a man simply stared at the car driven by Nathan with a flat face and walked away from where he was standing.
"Why not answer my question?" Laura asked in frustration as she was often ignored by Nathan.
"Which one?" Nathan asked back.
"Here you go, I'm lazy to argue with you." Laura said with her chest closed.
Nathan knows Laura is angry and upset with him but Nathan doesn't want to talk about this to Laura either, "Do you want ice cream?" Nathan asked softly.
"Are we going to shop too?" Laura replied to the question with a question.
"Of course." Nathan smiled faintly.
Laura then smiled broadly, "You, I want to buy new clothes and shoes. My pocket money is up this month and there's nothing left." Laura's complaint to her boyfriend.
"Isn't this just a week since the turn of the month, what's your money really for?" Nathan asked in wonder.
"You know, baby, my needs are many. In addition to class fees I also need to go for a walk with my friends." Answer Laura.
"Stop having fun, we're in 3rd grade and we're gonna have a test soon. I'll pay your class fees from tomorrow so keep your money well don't be too extravagant." Said Nathan who only got a lazy response from Laura.
"All right, baby."
