A Handful of Homes for Mikayla

A Handful of Homes for Mikayla
A HANDFUL OF LONGS FOR MIKAYLA

Happy Reading 🌹🌹

Five years later.

A car speeding through the highway, a wedding photo appears to be a hanger in the middle of the rearview mirror.

A bouquet of white chrysanthemums also appears to sit sweetly in the front seat of passengers.

Lucky the weather today is very sunny as bright as the feeling of a man who will come to meet his beloved heart.

Taking a 45-minute ride, a man in a black suit strap and shiny pantofel shoes is getting off his red sports car.

For a moment he stood in front of the last house of the idol, a long sigh he did before finally stepping inside with a bouquet of flowers.

Shoes that collide with the floor sound echoed because it was quite quiet, deliberately the man came on a weekday instead of a weekend.

Until his wide footsteps stopped fixed in front of all the tombs that looked very beautiful and well maintained.

On the tombstone was written the name of his wife, Mikayla Wijayakusuma.

For five years, Nathan has often been to his wife's meals to beg for forgiveness, if he used to rebel to go home now different.

Nathan will be home after he's done telling him what he's been doing for a whole week.

As a man who will replace Kenan keeps Nathan busy, moreover bury his ideals as deeply as possible.

"If you become a doctor, there will be many more Mikayla."

Luis' words continued to ring in Nathan's mind, true what his brother-in-law said. Nathan isn't so good at keeping Mikayla what about the others.

A bouquet of flowers he placed in front of the tombstone with a photo of Mikayla. Nathan fell silent by plucking out some of the weeds that were beginning to grow.

"How are you, honey? I'm sorry I just got to visit because I'm busy replacing dad." Nathan said with his eyes starting to heat up.

Nathan fell silent again, and he cleaned his wife's grave in silence.

"It's been five years. It has been five years since you abandoned me and also punished me, do you not want to appear in front of me even in a dream?" Nathan asked back by biting his quivering lips.

Again and again, Nathan fell silent every time he uttered a word in front of Mikayla's tomb.

"Are you happy there that you don't want to see me? Surely you are happy in the company of good people, I ... I also wanted to feel happy when I found out that I've been in love with you for a long time." Nathan said with a smile, but his eyes shed tears.

Nathan quickly wiped his tears, "Oh, I'm sorry baby. Though I promised I wouldn't cry in front of you, surely you there laughing at me weak like this. I'll sit down and accompany you today until dusk say hello." Nathan said back.

Nathan now sits next to Mikayla's grave with his legs bent, he begins to tell her about his activities, as well as occasional stories about Kinan the younger brother who has now graduated from college and become the owner of the cafe.

The look on Nathan's face changed, looking as if he was smiling and coming back flat. However, tears cannot lie to anyone who sees them.

He became the weathered man of the moment even though he looked cold and untouched outside after being abandoned by Mikayla forever.

The clear sky was now turning twilight, Nathan immediately got up from where he was sitting by patting his cloth pants gently.

"Darling, I'll go home first. Tomorrow I'll come again. Come to my dream for just a second, Hem. I miss you so much Mika." Nathan said before he left the cemetery.

With a shaky step, Nathan walked out to the parking lot. His mind was empty, the energy he had seemed to be lost when he was going home after meeting his wife.

He seemed to be sitting in the car for a long time, like a broken movie. All the memories and speech between the two were recorded very clearly in his brain.

Until slowly the red sports car moved to leave the cemetery area. Nathan drove back to the apartment in silence.

The highway is very crowded because of the time to go home to work, let's just say Nathan spent his time on the highway to drive away the loneliness in his life.

Until he was focused on driving, his eyes saw Mikayla who was walking on the sidewalk alone.

Nathan rubbed his eyes as if to confirm what he saw, but after the bus came the shadow disappeared.

"No way, surely you listened to me for continuing to beg dear. Thank you for showing up in front of me for just a second." Natha said back in tears.

Nathan resumed his car, until he had just arrived at the apartment one hour later.

Soon Nathan parked his car in the basement, and stepped out to the elevator where his apartment unit was located.

Ting

The sound of an elevator clanking rang out, Nathan immediately came out and walked towards his unit. It appears that the password of the apartment he never changed after the departure of his wife.

Slowly the apartment door opened, the sofa looks and all the layouts are still the same when Mikayla leaves.

Even the dressing table they had moved also did not shift as sharply from its place.

Nathan walked in with his coat off, he put his work coat on the sofa and walked back to the kitchen with his arm buttoned.

It seems that all the kitchen furniture is still in place, there is nothing rusty or damaged because every Sunday there are servants who come to clean the residence except the main room.

Right, after Mikayla left. The main room is off-limits to anyone including Kinan the younger brother. Inside the master room were the most beautiful and sickly memories he had with Mikayla.

In the room was the beginning of the creation of all their household stories, Nathan wanted to change the sofa in the living room.

There she always sees a shadow as she sits with Laura, seeing how hurt and angry Mikayla is, where she first says a word she has regretted for a lifetime.

Right, the word in which he would divorce Mikayla was only for the sake of a woman he considered good.

A bitter smile only Nathan was able to show, he started to enter the master room and walked into the bathroom.

The sound of water gurgling could be heard filling the quiet apartment, completely deserted because there was only Nathan and memories.

While on the bus, a beautiful woman was sitting in a chair by the window. Both of his hands were full of office items.

The long-haired girl with the waves threw her gaze out the window, enjoying the familiar view of the city for her.

Until his phone rang, the girl immediately picked up her call.

"Hello, Brother Dean?" Sweepings.
