Reason for Revenge

“Why did you turn like this?” ask Amora. Barda inhaled a breath and let it out violently. His breathing sounded heavy.

“You know? I used to be in a very bad situation. The bankruptcy of my company made all my assets go missing and the only house I occupied threatened to be confiscated.” Barda took a breath and exhaled it a little hard.

“When I was in that predicament, my only close friend, Arman became my goal to ask for help. But instead of helping me, he left me falling into ruin.” Barda clenched her hands deeply resenting remembering the moment back then.

“For me, he is my only hope. She has a rich family but doesn't want to help me. Just looking at me at that moment wasn't. He really is a rotten man.” he said in a depressed tone.

“At last all the assets I had were wiped out. The treasure I collected half-dead just disappeared and I fell into poverty. And even worse, I almost became a kingpin!” barda shouted as if Amora was the figure she was talking about.

If indeed the cause of Barda to take revenge is because of the loss of property, then what about Amora? He lost much more with the deaths of both Amora's parents. But without Amora knowing, Bara was unable to fight the guards because the hostage was her. Bara could not fight because it could even make Amora more threatened. So he chose to surrender himself. It's better, he thought at the moment.

“We made a deal!” she shouted as an idea reached her mind.

“Didn't you just want to see Atmanaja Group bankruptcy? Let go of Amora and you can get what you want.” but Barda just laughs to hear it.

“You will not succeed in deceiving me, Bara Atmanaja. You are just a snot boy who happens to be taking care of a company.” said Barda right in Bara's ear. Bara still bent his knees in a position tied all over his body. Although actually the bond can be released easily.

“Think. I have now become the principal director of the Atmanaja Group. Full power is in my hands. If you want, I'll give it to you as long as you release Amora right now.” said Bara steady.

“Stop!!” amora shouted, but her screams were not stirred at all. Bara was still beaten without a fight. Seeing this, Amora woke up and approached Bara. What now makes Bara surprised by it.
