A Couple of Hearts

A Couple of Hearts
Dreams and Reality

Amora is in a forest where the whole is white, showing only towering trees. He saw his parents who were walking from far away.

“Dad? Mother?” Amora tries to make sure that they are both her parents.

“Iya, this is our dear.” Anne muttered after being right in front of Amora. She had a beautiful smile, and so did Gavin.

“But why are you here?” ask Amora wonder. He was also confused why they were all in the forest with white light around the place.

“We'll go, Nak.” Gavin. It seemed that Amora felt this atmosphere was very familiar. Instead of rejecting it, this time Amora did not want to be wrong in making a decision again.

“Amora follow!” emphatically. Anne and Gavin looked at each other.

“No, Son. Your life is still long,” said Gavin in a very light voice. They began to leave Amora to enter into the whirlpool of white light emanating from above as if to take her parents with her.

Amora was about to step following her parents, but suddenly her arm was blocked by someone from behind. Amora immediately saw who the person who pulled her arm was.

“Kak Bara?” ask Amora wonder.

“Do not go. Brother please.” Speak with glazed eyes.

(Flashback On)

Somewhere, on a road trip, a car was speeding along despite heavy rain blocking some of its sights. The atmosphere is very gripping in the middle of a quiet night with no lighting at all.

“Gavin, it looks like we are still being followed by the car again,” Anne told her husband as she looked behind the car.

“We must be vigilant and do not let your guard down,” said Gavin while continuing to drive to break the storm water.

“Actually who are they?” anne began to be vigilant.

“It looks like they are the man. We have to hurry,” said Gavin alert and immediately stepped on the gas pedal.

“How is this? I'll try to call the police,” suggested Anne and immediately call emergency.

He tried calling to ask for help. Because currently there is no one to be contacted in the middle of the forest road they are traveling. Gavin tries to avoid the car that keeps following them by taking a path towards the forest. I hope the car doesn't follow him anymore.

But it seems that the men kept following Gavin's car from behind trying to chase him wherever he turned. Gavin also began to panic when he chose a forest path that he did not memorize the right route. All he thought about at that time was just dodging and after not being followed, he would go to the main line again. But a thousand dear ones, it still continues to be followed.

“What if the car light is turned off only? To try to trick them?” motion Anne.

“But it's very dangerous,” rejects Gavin in response to Anne's idea which he thinks will harm them as well.

“This is the only way. We stop at the turn there near that big lake.” Designate it.

“Turn off car lights right now before they get close!” Said Anne in a very worried tone. He constantly looked back to watch the car that was following them.

Finally inevitably Gavin followed the advice of Anne. He hoped his advice would work. Gavin's car went straight to the area of the lake that was very dark, there was only a glimmer of light from the cloudy sky and rain. The light from the car lights was turned off so that no one knew that Gavin's car was hiding between the dark forest and the lush trees.

They were silent without making the slightest sound. The vegetables sounded the roar of the car from far away. Slowly it became clear and closer. The sound of their heartbeat racing against each other was afraid that their hiding would be discovered. When the roar of the car approached and right near them, it turned out that the car continued to drive without realizing the whereabouts of Gavin's car.

A sense of relief was immediately heard from their breath as the roar of the car that followed them slowly dissipated and left only the rustle of rain.

“It seems they are not aware of our existence.” Gavin began to feel relieved.

They rested for a while and took a breath slowly calming their hearts and minds that had not stopped being alert and worried.

“I'll call bi Siti first,” Gavin said to Anne who looked exhausted and tried to close her eyes. Anne simply nodded without opening her eyes while taking a calming breath.

Gavin immediately contacted bi Siti. He was worried about Amora who was currently at home.

“I want to ask for help. Amora's at home right?” gavin asked after hearing a voice from across. He immediately told the events that were happening to them and their current existence. Gavin asks bi Siti to be near Amora and tries to double lock all the doors and gates of his house.

“Oh, fine, Sir. Sorry aunt overslept. Neng Amora was in the living room he said not yet sleepy,”

“Please checked. I'm afraid someone has malicious intentions on him like we are at the moment,”

“Ya already, Sir. If so aunt wants to find Neng Amora first,” said bi Siti with a worried tone.

“Same father Mother also be careful there.” After that speech the connection was cut off.

“Yes Allah, may the father and mother be well,” bi Siti prayer. He immediately got up to look for Amora. But after arriving in the living room, he did not see Amora at all.

“Neng?” yelled bi Siti but she only felt silence and only heard the sound of the rustling rain from outside the house.

“Neng Amora?!” call bi Siti again this time with a pretty high voice. He was increasingly worried because there was no sound at all. In a panic, Siti ran straight to Amora's room. After opening the door, his room was empty and still as neat as before. He searched every corner of the house, but nothing. He didn't find Amora at all.

“Yes Allah, how is this? Where is she?” bi Siti was very panicked in fear of something bad happening to her. With a gasp of breath, bi Siti checked back into each room and still did not find Amora. He went out of the house trying to find her in the backyard. The result is still nil. The cold air did not ignite his quest to find Amora.

After that bi Siti searched the front yard area. Just near the front gate, he found Amora lying with rain water washing over her.

“Yes Allah neng Amora!”

Meanwhile, Anne and Gavin, who were starting to feel relieved, had to be shocked again by the sound of the roar of the car that was approaching. This time his voice seemed to stop right behind their car. The tense atmosphere at that moment instantly struck back.

“What did they find us?” anne said in a whisper while looking down. So did Gavin, he hoped they would pass soon.

Dugh! Dugh! The car hit the car where Anne and Gavin were. The car pulled back to hit their car.

Anne and Gavin's hidden path is a little steep and downhill. In front of him lay a vast lake. Their car was driven into the lake.

Dugh! The sound of Anne's screams grew louder and louder, feeling the car continuously banging her car.

Right now they seem dead-end, unable to do anything. Anne and Gavin looked at each other, starting to move on. Is this the end of their lives? Gavin immediately hugged the frightened Anne as if that was all he could do.

And finally their car sank into the lake because it had been driven by a car that turned out to be a man from a rival company to eliminate them both.

“Target is dead,” said someone who had hit Gavin's car repeatedly until they entered and drowned into the lake.

“Good work. Come back before the sun starts to rise.”

“Good, Boss.” And the car was back in the lane leaving Gavin and Anne who seemed to be swallowed by the lake and his car.
