...💟💟💟...
You guys know roller coaster rides? That's how my life has been for the last few years. At first it was slow, then fast, very fast, then it was down, then up. And stopped quietly after experiencing all that.
Although it had gone through a steep and winding road, there would be a straight and long road in the end. Sounds like I've really been riding a roller coaster.
A year has passed, after I felt all the flavors. Happy, love, angry, hate, disappointed, sad, and crying.
A better life will welcome me. The past can never come back, but making peace with it is wise. I reckon.
.
.
Today, Ms. Sari suddenly contacted me and asked to meet. It's been a year, and I've never heard from him or Mas Alvian's family.
We met in a city park that today does not look too crowded.
I'm waiting for the arrival of Mba Sari. From far away I saw a figure similar to him. He didn't come alone. He's together...
Nayla's?
I was surprised to see it. How is he after all the incidents that have happened to him?
I was pretty awkward meeting him. It's been a long time.
"Hi, Ms. Cecil." greet Nayla to me.
"Hi, Nayla. How you doing?" I try as normal as possible to greet him.
"I'm good." answered Nayla briefly.
He looks good, but... Oh no, it's no longer my business.
"I'm sorry Cecil. I asked you to meet, and... Bringing Nayla..." Sari began to speak.
"It's okay, Ma'am. How's Sari doing?"
"As you can see. I'm kind. Um, Cecil... Actually I asked to meet is to..."
It seems I am starting to know where the direction of the conversation referred to Mbak Sari. It wasn't Mbak Sari who wanted to see me, but Nayla.
I nodded as a sign I agreed to talk to Nayla.
Then Ms. Sari left me alone with Nayla. We sat next to each other on a long bench in the park.
"How's Alif doing?" I try to ask as normally as possible.
"Eh?"
"Your son? Your son's called Alif, isn't he?"
Nayla's speechless. Like there was something she was hiding. Then Nayla started telling stories.
"I'm not with Alif. All this time Alif was nurtured by Mbak Arini, Mas Arif's brother."
There was a tinge of sadness in his eyes. I waited for Nayla to continue her story.
"After the secrets of our past were exposed in front of the media, Ms. Arini took over custody of Alif, and asked me to part with Mas Alvian."
I'm appalled. What the hell does this mean?
"I have to leave Mas Alvian and take care of my real father Mas Arif." Nayla's voice began to tremble.
"Mbak Cecil knows, right, what the Arifin family has been educating their children. The poured cannot be denied. That means Mas Alvian and I have to follow Arini's orders. And Mas Arif... My papa... He also had to obey his brother's orders."
I'm still quiet.
"I asked Mbak Sari to take me to see Mbak Cecil because... I want to apologize on behalf of my father."
"Eh?"
"Please forgive my father's mistake all this time so he can settle down there."
"You mean...."
"Mas Arif is dead, Ma'am... My father is dead..." Nayla's crying is breaking.
As for me, I could only fall into a silence of disbelief in everything I heard.
"I beg you to forgive all your mistakes."
I let out a breath. Trying still as normal as possible to hear all this.
"I've forgiven him." I answered briefly and clearly.
"Really, Ma'am?"
"Yes. I have forgiven you all. So then... Live well and correct all your past mistakes."
"Thank you, Ma'am."
"Then.... Where do you live now?"
Nayla hesitated to answer.
"A place where no one knows me."
"Then Mas Alvian?"
"I don't know where Mas Alvian lives. I never met him."
"So, you live separately?"
Nayla nodded. I blinked my eyes. I don't want to cry for their pain, their pain.
Maybe this is God's reward for you.
"If there's nothing else you want to talk about, I'm sorry. I have to go to my friends' show today."
"Alright, Ma'am. Thank you for being willing to see me. May Cecil always live happily."
I said goodbye to Mbak Sari and immediately stepped out of the park and headed for my car.
In the car, I felt a tightness in my chest. Pain felt.
The tears that I had sustained, finally spilled too. I gripped the steering wheel of the car and gouged my face there.
I don't want to cry for their pain. The people who hurt me. But my heart was so weak that I had to cry again because of them.

Cecilia's phone kept ringing and it was from Amel. Cecilia rushed towards the five-star hotel where today's event took place.
After many years, Amel finally got what he was waiting for. A baby's. She's pregnant now. And his gestational age has stepped on seven months.
And today she will hold a seven-month pregnancy or cooler called Baby Shower along with Nadine, who is also seven months pregnant from her marriage with Radit. What a wonderful coincidence, right?
Cecilia is very busy today. He became the organizer of the event of his two best friends. He oversees the decorator and is also in charge of the food.
Amel and Nadine's baby shower starts at seven p.m. The guests began to arrive. The guests who came were certainly quite a lot, because there were two pregnant women who were happy tonight.
Cecilia welcomed the invited guests. His eyes were on a family he knew. The Adi Jaya Family.
Of course they came. Adi Jaya is a business partner of HD Group and also Hang Construction.
Cecilia met Adi Jaya, she greeted him with a smile from afar.
While all the guests were enjoying the dishes provided by the owner hajat, Cecilia passed by someone.
"Sister Cecil." said Sheila.
"Yes. Can I help you?"
"Papa wants to talk to brother."
Cecilia rounded her eyes. Then think for a moment. "alright... Where is Mr Adi?"
"Let's come with me..."
Cecilia followed Sheila's steps. He's headed to a room.
"Papa's waiting inside. Please come in."
Cecilia stepped her foot into the room. Adi Jaya sat in her wheelchair. His condition has begun to recover, but he still relies on a wheelchair for activities.
They talk face to face. But Adi Jaya still did not say anything.
"Mr okay?" continued Cecilia.
Cecilia gasped when she saw Adi Jaya cupping her hands in front of her chest.
"I'm sorry, Cecilia... Sorry.." There was a look of regret on his face.
Cecilia was silent.
"I'm sorry for everything I've ever done to you. It may be too late to admit it now. But... I'm really sorry for you..."
Cecilia took a breath and exhaled it gently.
"I've forgiven you."
Cecilia glazed over to see Adi Jaya, whom she knew as ambitious, strong, and powerful, now squabbling in front of her asking for forgiveness from her.
"Thank you Cecilia... Thanks much... You.indeed a good man... Rangga didn't pick you wrong."
"Sama-sama Sir. I also apologize to you, if all this time I have made a scene in the family... The show is about to start, let me take you to your family..."

That morning, Cecilia prepared to head to her cafe. Sayup-sayup heard the sound of news on television that his mother was watching.
"Young businessman, Rangga Adi Putra, son of Adi Jaya Santosa, owner of AJ Group, is scheduled to return to his homeland next week after a year of residence in New York, United States. He will develop his new business in the country. And according to reliable sources, that Rangga will open a new subsidiary that is rumored to require many employees. This is of course welcomed by the public. Because this can help the economy of our society, especially for people who are looking for work."
For a moment Cecilia gasped at the news of Rangga's return.
I don't know if I'm sane or not. But, when I heard the name Rangga, it felt like my heart was pounding too. I haven't heard from him in a year. And I dare not ask anyone. We're still walking in place. Although sometimes I hope, if God's destiny this time will be different.
.
.
.
"Have you heard of Rangga's return?" Nadine asked while visiting the Cecilia cafe.
"Did? Ah, yes it is. I heard it from the news on television."
"He's going to open a new company here. A subsidiary of AJ Group. And he will need a lot of employees. Aren't you proposing, Cil?"
"Eh? Me? Apply? What about the cafe?"
"Try it first. Who knows if you're accepted for work. Cafe trouble, I can help you later. Just relax."
"Umm, I don't know. I'll think about it."
"Cil, please make a fresh drink. It's so hot air. Don't forget to add a lot of ice!"
"Ouch, sorry. I forgot to make you drink. Just a minute!"
"That's a lot, don't forget!" Shouted Nadine.
"Yes-yes. Just this once. Your stomach is big. I don't want you to have a hard time giving birth because your baby is too big."

Danny's waiting in the waiting room at the airport. Today Rangga will arrive in Jakarta after approximately one year in New York. It reminds Danny of a memory from a few years ago, when he also picked up Rangga at the airport. But this time Rangga was not alone. He was with Hendi.
Danny immediately stood up when he saw Rangga and Hendi had walked towards him. Danny smiled welcoming them.
"Kak Rangga, Kak Hendi, welcome back to Jakarta."
"Thank you, Dan. Oh yeah, you did what I told you to do?"
"Already, Brother. But isn't brother going to see them tomorrow?"
"No! Who said tomorrow. I'll see them today." Rangga's voice remained loud as usual.
"But, Brother. Brother Rangga just got off the plane, shouldn't you rest first?"
"I said no! I deliberately chose this flight so that I could still meet them once I arrived. Hurry up, I don't have time to relax right now."
Rangga breezed away leaving Danny and Hendi who were still amazed by Rangga's attitude.
"Sister, is it okay for him to go straight to work? He's been on a plane for almost 24 hours, and now wants to go straight to the office?"
"Leave it. During this year, he worked hard. It is only natural that this habit cannot be eliminated. Let's go. You better call Raditya again. Tell him that Rangga will see him now."
"Good, Brother!"
.
.
.
Rangga has sold all of AJ Group's shares in New York. It was a very difficult decision for him. He could not go back and forth between Jakarta-New York if he wanted his personal life also taken care of.
He will focus on building a business in Indonesia only. And it turns out that his father agreed to that. Now he has bought a new building from Radit to be used as a new subsidiary building of AJ Group.
"You just calm down. I've taken care of everything. Later you just rearrange the building according to your taste." Radit Bright.
"Goodoo. Thank you, Dit. You are indeed reliable. Then, excuse me. I have to attend a meeting with the shareholders. Danny, have you called them?"
"Here, Brother."
Rangga said goodbye to Radit and they embraced. Radit shook his head to see the workaholic Rangga.
"He's amazing, isn't he, Bon?" Radit asked Bonny, his assistant.
"Yes, Mas. May all that he does bear sweet fruit."
"Hu'um, definitely."
"Oh yes, Nadine called when she was in Cecil's place. What exactly are you planning? This must have something to do with Rangga, right?"
"Umm, not a big plan. Just a little plan." Radit smiled with mystery.
.
.
.
The sun had already sunk and began to turn dark the night that enveloped when Rangga reached his residence. Due to extreme fatigue, Ranggapun fell asleep in the car. Danny didn't dare wake her.
"Sister Rangga!!!" Sheila cried out excitedly when she saw her sister's car arrive.
"Sttt!!! Rangga's sister fell asleep. Don't be noisy!" Danny Lerai.
"What a pity my brother, he must be so tired."
"We'll let him in the car first."
Suddenly Rangga squirmed. He began to open his eyes.
"Have you arrived, Dan?"
"Here, Brother."
"Sister Rangga!!!" Sheila got into the car and hugged her sister. "I miss my sister so much!!"
Rangga returned the embrace of his sister. "Sister misses you too, my little brother. Let's go in. Papa must have waited, right?"
"Hu 'um. Mom and Dad miss their sister very much. There's Umi Isma inside too."
"Mummy?!?" Rangga was surprised to not believe it. He was so happy that everyone welcomed him. Tired today was no longer felt in his body. All changed an immeasurable happiness.
