~{Sudent Syarif}~
'Shit !! They're more than I thought they were'
I, Syarif Affandi worked as a cop for over 15 years.
Right now me and my subordinates are on the run from the approaching death that is in the form of a green humanoid, rather we are on the run from the pursuit of the Goblins.
Today, the world is changing.
It starts with an earthquake in the morning, then a mysterious voice is heard inside everyone's head. Then a transparent screen with a writing that said like a Game appeared in front of everyone's eyes.
The earth shook again and a strange building appeared or perhaps a very tall Tower that was even visible from a different city. But not only did the strange Tower appear, suddenly strange creatures sprung up out of nowhere and attacked everyone they met.
My subordinates and I have a mission to help the people to evacuate and take care of them in the refugee camps provided by the government.
But then I and my subordinates were given a mission to go to a village in Pagedangan District to finish off and eliminate the source of one of the types of monsters that appear, namely Goblin.
Goblin, that's what the green monster is after us. But they are not only made up of those who are child-like in size. In fact some are sized like Asian adults and then some are sized like stocky European adults.
But not only that, we even faced one Goblin who was over 2 meters tall with an extremely strong muscular body. I thought that there might only be one like him because he was leading an army of Goblins big enough to attack us.
We killed him and killed his army. Resting to recover Stamina and Mana, we discussed about the next step. And it was decided that we would complete the mission by eliminating the source of the monsters they called Dungeons.
The Dungeon is at the center of the Dangerous Zone, we have to enter it and destroy the glowing blue-colored sphere that they call the Dungeon Core to eliminate the Dungeon and the Dangerous Zone.
At 21:30 we finished resting and began our plan to eliminate the Dungeon.
Our group now numbered 12 people who originally numbered 18 people. Since the 3 people were injured quite badly and it was impossible to do a battle like before, I assigned 3 people to accompany them back to our headquarters.
So 12 people including me will continue the mission.
Out of the house we occupied, our group parted with 6 people who were about to return.
The village was darkened because there were no more humans living here. Residents whose homes are in the Dangerous Zones have fled to government-provided shelters or other safe havens.
Everyone has a Status Window, and there is also a map showing our own position with a maximum radius of 10 km². The map also shows the position of the Dungeon and the Dangerous Zone radius within the 10 km² coverage.
However, many people do not realize or know the usefulness of the Map, so many victims at the time the monsters began to appear.
But then the government informs them of what they already know about this situation and the Status Window, one of which is about the Map that makes the casualties reduced, he said, because residents can avoid Dangerous Zones to go to a safe place.
The number of Dangerous Zones and Dungeons that we know from the latest information during the afternoon is 127 in Tangerang County, although there may be some Dungeons that are not yet known.
Several Dungeons and Dangerous Zones had been eliminated, and right now it was me and my subordinates who were tasked with eliminating Dungeons in a village in Pagedangan sub-district.
Due to this emergency situation the police and TNI are deployed to deal with the monsters that have sprung up and eliminate the source. Although the police mostly take care of the refugees, but the lack of personnel managing Dungeons and Dangerous Zones in areas far from Kodim Headquarters (Military District Command) led the police to take part in the destruction of Dungeons and Dangerous Zones and their monsters.
We got weapons from Kodim Tigaraksa for this mission. Includes Infrared Night Vision Monocular to see at night/darkness.
(note: which is installed in military helmets to squirm dark fitting)
Me and my subordinates, walked towards the center of the Dangerous Zone where the Dungeon was located. We finished off the Goblins we met on the way, but as much as possible to move quickly to get to the Dungeon.
Arriving at the center of the Dangerous Zone we could see the light from the fire torch and a small hill with cave doors that looked very dark even though we were using Infrared Night Vision Monocular.
It looks like they have some level of civilization of their own, because they can make torches. But strangely the swords used by the little goblins were mostly rusty.
And also, it was a mystery how some of them had swords and even Armor. Well, even though their own existence is already strange. So I stopped thinking about that.
The Dungeon seemed to be located in the open badminton field belonging to the citizens. About 20 Goblins were roaming around, most likely they were assigned to guard the entrance of the Dungeon.
I instructed my subordinates to get rid of them without making a fuss.
Although we are not from the Military or Special Units that specialize in sneak attacks, we have ambushed criminal groups such as vane groups and smuggling groups of dangerous or illegal goods.
Soon we finished taking out the Goblins that were around the Dungeon, and gathered in front of the mouth of the cave which was most likely the entrance of the Dungeon.
"Is this really safe to enter, captain?" (Fera)
Fera, a Polwan and also one of my subordinates, asked while pointing at the mouth of the cave which looked very dark.
"Of course it is impossible to be safe, because there is a nest of Monsters" (Sharif)
"That's not what I mean! But what I'm asking is this very dark-looking entrance" (Fera)
Although I was just a little joking but it seems like Fera took it too seriously. Well, what I said just now is also a fact.
"Let me go in first, Captain!" (Deni)
Deni, a policeman who is also my subordinate volunteered to enter the cave door that looks very dark.
All my subordinates call me Captain, even though we are Police. They think it's better to call me Captain than Adjunct Police Commissioner (AKP). So they call me Captain in addition to situations that require formalities.
"Hm...
No, I'll go in first" (Sharif)
"What! No, no.... You're kidding, right? captain!" (Deni)
"Yes, there's no way we're letting a leader in first for a security test" (Fera)
They were against my submission, rather all my subordinates not only Deni and Fera were against my submission to enter first.
But I kept insisting, and convinced them on the grounds that I would use a rope tied to my body for them to pull if it was dangerous.
Even though I said that I don't know if a rope would be useful.
After tying the rope to my body, I began to walk into the mouth of the cave. After being right in front of him, I stretched out the sword I was holding first and pulled it back. Nothing's going on.
So I started walking in. After I entered, I saw my surroundings that looked like a vast cave interior and seemed to be quite bright, so I removed the Infrared Night Vision Monocular device on my helmet.
Then I could see that the light was produced from rocks that gave off a dim light. Not only on the ceiling but also around the walls and even the rocks embedded below.
I picked up Transiver/HT (Handy Talky) trying to use it to tell my subordinates outside, but all that was heard was a radio voice that had no signal.
It seems like communication tools cannot be used within the Dungeon as I read in the previous report. I used Transiver/HT out of habit even though I had read the report.
So I used telepathy from the Party effect, to tell those who were outside.
"Deni! It's fine here so tell the others and come in" (Sharif)
(Rober! Captain!!)
While waiting for them I untied the rope in my body.
Information about the party was also in the report.
Because the maximum of a Party is 6 people, so there are two parties in our group of 12 people.
The first party is led by myself, and the second party is chaired by Fera.
After they all entered, I told them to release their Night Vision devices.
We looked around in wonder. I walked towards one of the glowing rocks and pulled it out or rather broke it off the wall, and soon it lost its light.
Well, this was already in the report I read, but I just wanted to try it.
After quite a look around, we started to walk in deeper.
This cave is not like the usual cave, because of its vastness and also the regular passageways and we even found some rooms on the way.
So this is what a Dungeon looks like...
We finished off the Goblins we met and those in the room we passed on the way to the room where the Goblin King was.
We walked through the biggest street that most likely led to the Goblin King room.
Not long after we could see a large iron door or perhaps it could be called a gate.
"Woahh!! It cannot be opened as an ordinary human being... But now that we have a status, I think I can open it" (Deni)
Saying that, Deni walked over to the door to open it.
"Deni! You can't just do something" (Fera)
Fera's shout was simply ignored by him, which made the pulse twitch on Fera's forehead.
Meanwhile Deni pushed the door consisting of two iron door leaves, which turned out not to move in the slightest even though his face was flushed red.
Shortly afterwards Deni stopped pushing the door and breathed heavily. And Fera mocked and laughed at him.
"Alright, let me try" (Sharif)
Since I have the highest Level and I am also focusing on improving my STR Stat, so I will try to open the door.
Hm... It's like it won't open if I just push it as usual even with my high STR.
So I guess, I should use my skill, even though this skill would empty my Mana quickly if used at full strength.
[Strongest], that is the name of the skill that I have thanks to the effects of my Gift, [Captain]. The effect of the [Stongest] skill increases my strength according to the amount of Mana I use, but it also has a limit on how strong the increase is because if I use too much Mana then my body will feel pain.
According to one of my youngest subordinates, I had to upgrade the VIT Stat to increase the limit of the increase in strength I could receive from the [Stongest] Skill.
Then my Gift name was Captain, so I didn't tell my subordinates.
But I told them the skills I had from the Gift included [Stongest], I got another skill which was [Leadership] and told them as well.
...
I took a considerable distance from the door, took a swing to run and activated the [Stongest] Skill, just after activating the skill I started running towards the door. A few steps before hitting the door, I did a jump kick on the door.
One of the door leaves bounced deep inside while the other was bent because of my kick.
The view inside was visible to all of us. Looking at the scene I was shocked for a moment and grimaced immediately after noticing the terrifying scene.
To be continued..

Hiya, hiya,
No Face here.
Since the previous chapter I searched around for information about the military and the police, although I read a lot of things, I was not sure if the matters regarding the Military and the Police were right in the previous chapter, this chapter and future chapters.
Although most might not care much, but there might be some people who are [Military Otakku]. So you can write the error in the comment field.
That's all for this chapter.
Thank you for reading this chapter too. Like and comment, also add to your favorites or maybe you can give your Weekly Vote, even you can share if you have free time.
My greetings.
