Chapter.23 The Changing World #The 3rd Battle (3rd Battle)

A Goblin force of 200 units is heading to our place. This number was more than double the number of troops during the second wave.

But the seemingly larger army was heading in the opposite direction where the new group of humans came to this Dangerous Zone a moment ago.

I originally intended to kill the Goblin General first. But after I learned of the existence of the Goblin Wizard within their army whether I should prioritize killing the Goblin Wizard first.

I decided to prioritize targeting the Goblin General, because I wanted to find out if the Magic Slingshot that had a Rank B+ could kill him instantly or not? otherwise, it seems like I will have to undo my intention to fight Goblin King and Level Up slowly.

The Goblin army was immediately spotted by us even though we could only see hordes moving in the darkness.

I had seen the Goblin army during the second wave directly but still seeing the horde of monsters heading towards me still made me feel like escaping immediately. But I won't run away after thinking that I will level up quickly and obtain many Mana Stones.

And it's also impossible for me to escape after talking so much to Fitri. Hm.... I will fight with Fitri then what about the exp division?...

It seemed like my shot did hit him even though it wasn't on target, and it made him angry.

After letting out his furious roar, he started running towards us. The Goblins that were in front of him immediately stepped aside to give him a way.

It looks like he will jump over the moat and destroy the fort walls if I leave it like this.

"Your Fitri should keep the Goblin Wizard and Goblin Elite Knight busy. You don't have to kill them"

"I'm going down to face the Goblin General, so you have to save your Mana and keep them busy"

I can't attack his neck or head because it's too high, maybe I can reach it if I jump but I won't be able to dodge his attack while in the air.

After a while of dodging and attacking combat, my Battle Sense skill rose to Lv.3 and the fight became easier. This time I was able to dodge all of his attacks while earlier I had to fend off some of his attacks.

The Goblin General's movements slowed down even more, as I mostly attacked his legs.

'Yes, what's Fit?' I tried to speak back inside my mind while thinking that I was talking to him.

Looks like I have to put an end to this soon because Fitri will run out of Mana and my Stamina is also decreasing.

I dodged the Goblin General's diagonal attack and ran up to him to his right side, then I stuck my sword in his right leg.

Taking a little distance back, I took out my Magic Slingshot and shot towards his head.

I immediately ran and jumped over the moat to return to the wall. While under the wall I spoke to Fitri using telepathy.

While in the air I took out the other two swords from my Inventory, then slashed at the Goblin that was at the place where I was about to land. After I landed, the Goblin on my left swung its club vertically and the Goblin on my right thrust its spear towards me, I easily dodged both of them and slashed at them simultaneously.

Then I ran towards the place where the Goblin Wizards were protected by the Goblin Elite Knights. On the way I finished off the Goblins and Goblin Knights easily.

Dodging, slashing, stabbing and throwing the sword I used if I thought it would break or be too blunt to use.

Then I arrived before the Goblin Elite Knights who were protecting the Goblin Wizards. I can see 7 Goblin Wizards and 15 Goblin Elite Knights. Looks like some have already been killed by Fitri. Meanwhile Fitri was busy facing the Goblins, Goblin Archers and Goblin Knights who were approaching the wall.

Looks like the Goblin Wizard has managed to create a bridge. I must immediately finish off the Goblin Elite Knight and the Goblin Wizard, as I will soon run out of Mana after a long time of using Body Strengthening Magic. Not only that. My stamina will also run out soon so I have to finish this battle as soon as possible.

Pumping my spirit, I threw both swords in my hand at the Goblin Elite Knight who was in front of the Goblin Wizard. Taking out the other swords, I dashed towards them while avoiding the Goblin Elite Knights who came attacking me.

My goal was to finish off the Goblin Wizards first because it seemed like they would be easy to deal with in close combat and it would be troublesome if they used Magic to attack me while I was fighting the Goblin Elite Knight.

Since my Agility is higher than the Goblin General, I can easily avoid the Goblin Elite Knights and immediately be where the Goblin Wizards are.

In an instant I slashed the two heads of the Goblin Wizard, and immediately headed for the other Goblin Wizard.

After finishing off all the Goblin Wizards I started killing the Goblin Elite Knights who came to me.

Then there were no Goblins still alive around me. But there were still some Goblins and Goblin Knights near the wall that Fitri was facing.

I helped him by throwing spears at the Goblins while remaining where I stood. Because I was already too tired to run and I also ran out of Mana to use Body Strengthening Magic to jump over the trenches.

Not long after that there were no more Goblins left alive in this place. Although some escaped, and I did not chase after him because it was too exhausting.

I dropped my body and sat on the ground after seeing that there were no enemies left.

(Ochid! Are you all right?) It seems Fitri was worried after seeing me drop my body.

'Yeah, I'm fine. Just sit and rest for a while'

Hm... I'd better meditate to speed up my Stamina and Manaku recovery.
