Chapter 38 - Hidden Part II

As per the promise Han said, he would tell her everything about Sean's life if Lisa managed to convince Mina to want to be someone who might help Sean. Where Han will tell the origin of the accident and what caused the man to lose his memory and become like that.

Today Han and Lisa themselves are going to meet Mina at the Cafe not far from Han's office, the man has to be in the office to take care of the files that his manager and his assistant can't handle, he did move all his work at home but Han would occasionally go to the office to see the development of that company.

So Lisa and Mina waited long enough, the two girls waited for Han's arrival by sharing the story as long as they didn't meet. Lisa is happy to see her best friend, but Mina looks a little different to the last she met.

“you look happy Lisa. Do you like that Ahjussi?” Tanya Mina, while drinking the Vanilla latte she ordered, and a Cake as a complement.

Lisa's wide eyes stared at Mina, she put her drink that she was about to drink. “why should I be sad? She's good to me.”

Mina's forehead puckered upwards, she vividly remembered before Lisa's family had told the girl to get married, and as Lisa spoke she was afraid that she would continue to grieve after marriage, but in fact Mina sees Lisa who is much freer than living with her mother. 

“Then why did you ask me to meet him? Don't tell for weird stuff!” mina.

“It---,” Lisa is confused, she does not know if Mina will ask questions now. He showed a happy smile when Han who was outside the Cafe, the man immediately entered the Cafe.

“Sorry, make you wait.” said Han, he pulled the chair next to Lisa, and took off the suit he was wearing and removed the glasses framing his face.

“Oppa want to drink something?” Mina looked at Han, and showed her cheerful face.

“Ice Americano.”

Lisa nodded in understanding, she left Han and mina there to talk to each other.

“It's nice to meet you, I heard you were in a relationship with my friend Yeon.” 

Mina chokes even though she is not drinking, the atmosphere gets hot when Mina looks towards Han. He scratched his non-itchy head. 

“that means right, I think the guy will be busy thinking about his career, have you guys dated? Did Yeon take you to her apartment.” Said Han, he doesn't remember who was spoken to in front of him. 

Mina looked down embarrassed, did Yeon tell her everything, what she had to say now.

“you look tense, you don't need to answer it, my goal is to meet you not to discuss it, but rather to ask for your help.” Han explained, he spoke so seriously. Until it is not realized if from a distance Lisa continues to stare at the man.

“what does it have to do with Oppa Yeon?” mina asked doubtfully, she didn't think Han himself was asking for help if Yeon decided something. Though their relationship is just a friend, another different from Mina who has become her lover.

“It has nothing to do with the man, before I speak, can you promise to be willing first?”

Lisa came back and gave Han what she wanted, she sat down next to the man again.

“aku? Why should I promise? Kan who needs Ahjussi is not me.” ketus Mina, instead of not wanting to promise just that, he was afraid instead could not do it after promising.

“Mina, why are you saying that?” Lisa interrupted speech.

“I will help to keep a long lasting relationship with Yeon, only to you someone can enjoy his life back.”

Mina was silent, why should she. She doesn't have any talent, how can she help Han and Lisa. “well, I promise.”

“Thank you, I want to ask you to help my sister, her name is Kang Sean Oh. He--,” Han told me briefly, concisely and clearly. He only explained what Lisa already knew and had not explained the process.

Mina listened to all her explanations, she hesitated to follow all the instructions Han had planned, and it was mostly Mina had to interact with her sister and there were some things Mina had to physically contact with her.

Han takes Mina back home, Lisa falls asleep on the way back to Villa, the more Han notices Lisa, the more Han deduces something if Lisa is very conscious in some way, there was no attitude in which she felt burdened by her status as Han's wife. And Han thought that the girl shouldn't be with him.

Carrying Lisa back to her room, and getting back busy at work that is not familiar, even though Han also needs a break. 

Today Sean and Youngbin had to undergo several hospital screenings for wounds to Sean's head, the increase in years might be healed maybe not much but Han began to believe if the results never betrayed his efforts.

Until Han didn't realize that it was past night. 

She only realized when Lisa went into her room through the connecting door, Lisa's face was just waking up and she would usually whine for a drink.

“you want to drink?” han asked, he put down his laptop.

Lisa shook her head, she approached Han and suddenly hugged the man's body, leaning her head against Han's field chest and Lisa hugged Han tightly.

“i was a nightmare, and couldn't go back to sleep thinking about the story about Sean, could Oppa tell me now? I don't like to wait and think.” Lisa said, she acted like a child.

Han was surprised, Lisa rarely behaved like this, before telling her she turned off her laptop, gave Lisa a glass of water and covered both of their bodies under a thick blanket.

“I don't know this story will make you sleep peacefully, but tonight I will hug you to sleep.” Han sighed before telling everything.

“when I was busy taking care of my college in America, I rarely contacted Sean and could only return on vacation, maybe once a month. I got this story from one of the maids at home, originally the accident happened because Sean was not paying attention to the road, the violent clash between himself and the car. Making some nerves in his brain disrupted, the doctor did not know it at the beginning and only said if Sean had a mild concussion - then all returned to normal, but when Sean will follow the international Olympics. Suddenly he was in excruciating pain to the point of having to cancel the race, dad was really disappointed and Sean was in a coma back then-,” 

Han fell silent, he regretted not being able to be beside his sister during the incident, even the most painful thing was that his father did not tell him, and Han only found out after Sean was in a coma, just as Han was getting his college leave.

“Sean was in a coma for almost over a year, I could only find it on my day off, it was very painful and I regret it until now, when he realized Sean's memory only stopped when he was about to leave when he entered the race. But not only that, the father who immediately took him home and forced Sean to go back to chasing the left behind, I don't know how tortured Sean was at that time. Until the end Sean really became a child and often remembered the accident every night, he could not remember the things that happened today and always returned to the events when he was 17 years old.”

Lisa stroked his chest and patted him, the words coming out of the man's mouth like an endless regret, Lisa would probably cry if she became Han while telling a story.

“i am sure, if Oppa can make it heal, I will always support and help Oppa, as best as possible.”

Han stroked the base of Lisa's head, telling stories like this gave a different impression when Han could only hold her for a few years, she was relieved and she was happy, there was one person who was willing to listen and provide support. 

“thank you Lisa.”

Lisa shook her head in Han's arms, not supposed to Lisa say that, it must have been so heavy to get through all of this on her own and it was so hard to tell everything, as if Han was back in the old wound that was being covered up.

“Oppa, will Mina do well?” lisa asked, she raised her head to look at Han, but she instead saw Han's already asleep face. 

“you must be tired.” continued Lisa again, she turned off the lights and re-legged her body on the chest field Han, it's a comfortable position because Lisa can hear Han's heartbeat sound racing just like her. “good night Oppa.”
