Chapter 17: Talk Sad

Lisa is sent by Mina to her house gate. 

“Mina, garbage meet and thank you” said Lisa, she waved at the car glass when Mina's car will soon leave her home area.

Lisa was a little confused to see the car parked in front of her house, it was very similar to the car that the man had pulled and as if the man knew her. 

“Aigo! Is that true? What should I do?” Lisa bit her finger frantically the man's words were really hard for her to understand, when she arrived in front of the porch of the house little Lisa peeked out of the window of her house. 

And that's true! There was this man there, sitting across from his mother. 

“should I sign in?” Lisa is between scared and confused, if she runs away where she is going and when she decides to go in what to tell her mother. 

Lisa smiles happily, she remembers her bedroom window never being locked, she walks away from her porch, Lisa doesn't want to meet the man especially if her mother asks why she hurt him.

But not long ago Lisa stepped behind the voice of the mother made her step stop right then and there.

“Lisa? Where are you going?” yoona said, fortunately, she came out when she heard the sound of a car entering the area of her house, and the true feeling of a mother is never wrong, even though what Yoona hopes to appear is her first daughter. 

Of course, Yoona does not want to give Lisa to be paired up, she is still too young and Yoona does not want the events of her past to be repeated to her daughter, moreover, Yoona knows if Lisa will not easily accept it and it could be possible that Lisa will hate herself like Hee-Jin.

“Mom? A-me--,” Lisa confused reply when the Mother stood not far from her, Lisa did not even want to turn her body to stare at the figure behind her. ‘what should I do?’

“Lisa, when you talk to other people, it's not good not to look at her, didn't Mom already teach you about manners in talking to other people?” 

Yoona walks up to the princess, she can't let Lisa get away from her house and keeps making Mr. Kang urge her, now's the perfect time to bring together Lisa's, maybe-, soul mate, Yoona herself is not sure yet but if they are conquered with Yoona will not be able to separate the two.

“Come with Mom” Yoona drags Lisa into the house through the back door connected to the backyard or pool area, she takes Lisa into her room and tells the girl to change clothes.

“Mom, who exactly are they?” Lisa restrained herself when she came back downstairs after changing clothes, she held her mother back from stepping up, and this was the first time Lisa tried to be assertive even though she was actually afraid of hurting her heart.

“Lisa, you remember Mom, taking you to a cafe and meeting the guy sitting there?”

Lisa's gaze certainly led to the middle-aged man sitting on the living room sofa with the man Lisa ruined her future, “Ya, Lisa remembered”

“next is his son, he who will be betrothed to Lisa” 

“What!?? Mom, Lisa doesn't understand? Matchmade?”

Yoona knows this is the first reaction Lisa will show, “Mom, will explain later”

Yoona pulls Lisa back to walk, she does besides continuing the silly matchmaking she foolishly agreed to. 

“Mo---,” Lisa was glued when her gaze accidentally met the man, a gaze so cold and sharp that she stuck there without being able to move her limbs. 

“Sorry to make you wait” 

“I don't think it takes too long to make time again, you've brought your daughter and I also brought Han, who I will match with your daughter”

Lisa stared not believing in the mother, she will be in a mate? How come? He had not even taken off his gray white clothes.

“Mom? I don't understand” Lisa played her voice down a bit when she asked her mother to speak.

And Han, the man just stayed there, as hard as he could to deny the father's rule, is dragging Han into a marriage that he really doesn't need for now. 

Because marriage is not enough without love even though both are capable.

“Mr Kang, can you hold off until my daughter graduates?” 

“No! I want them to marry next month” said Mr. Kang full of assertiveness, he is really hard on anyone even though his interlocutor is a woman.

“Dad! that girl is still in High School, doesn't she care about her education? what if his classmates find out? And think of me too Daddy! How could Dad want to match me with a High School girl?” Said Han, he vaporized everything. 

“We can do this wedding secretly and when you pass the new wedding you will be inaugurated” 

Lisa's getting confused by this talk, marriage? The matchmaking? Inauguration?

“Sorry, I interrupted this conversation, I want to go to the toilet for a while” Lisa immediately left the place that felt so tense and just breathing was so difficult for her. 

“Master Kang, this cannot be done, how is my daughter's fate? Her graduation is only waiting three months, after graduation I myself will give up my daughter” said Yoona, she thought about the fate of Lisa in the future, could Lisa be like her.

Han was really sick of being there listening to a conversation that didn't have the slightest benefit to him, as the two people let their guard down Han decided to meet the girl who had already injured hers.

Just as he was passing through the hallway where the girl was leaving, he met the girl who was about to pass by, Han used the opportunity to block his steps and squeeze her between his burly arms.

“A-what-who-want-kam-u-do?” Lisa was of course nervous, she was in an evasive position when she was so close to the man, the smell of mint filled her smell. 

“I warn, don't be happy with this matchmaking! Since--,” Han contained the sentence intentionally, he raised the girl's chin until it revealed its smooth neck area. 

Lisa gulped her saliva like she was drinking water, the man's gaze scared Lisa and was able to avoid the coldness of her attitude. “Because--what?”

Han showed a grin, his finger tracing from the cheeks, lips, to a stop on Lisa's chin and slightly lowered his head, right stopped in the girl's ear “no happiness you get” 

All released along with the ending of the sentence, Han left Lisa with a warning that he made, even though Lisa did not understand anything but this meeting felt like a nightmare for the future.

Lisa stared at the departure like a fragment of happiness that would soon vanish as the back drifted away and was swallowed up by the darkness.

Lisa wiped away the tears that just flowed, all this still feels foreign to immediately Lisa understood, she said, though the previous life feels so normal to run but now the direction of life changes like the world Lisa has just returned to spinning, where she is at the bottom and must run to get to the top.
