Chapter 31 - The Trust

Today Han has an appointment with Cho Group, a chance also for him to meet a man named ‘Cho Jungwon’. Although Han knew that the man was still in college, judging from the biodata he received yesterday the man was the same age as his sister, the education history was also the same as Sean. 

It's possible that they're one generation, if Sean is still undergoing his education. 

Han so remembered with his sister, he had not met Sean for several weeks, even on the day of his wedding, Han could not expect Sean to be there. After all he was the one whose mother had entrusted him with and until now Han couldn't take good care of him. 

Maybe at lunch later Han will go to the father's house to find out about his sister, Sean can actually be cured if his sister wants to undergo a series of therapy and routine treatment, he said, but once again Han had no chance to do that. 

His father always was the biggest obstacle. Because Sean's birth was no longer the old man's hope but if not the man's pressure it was possible that Sean could still be a friend to Han. 

Han saw the biodata of the entire Cho family, none of whom had any ties to Lisa let alone Han not knowing them at all, if not for this work bond. What is the motive of all this? 

But for now Han only concluded if the man named ‘Cho Jungwon’ targeted Han as a target, that was only the conclusion now. Because it's not too strong if the guy likes Lisa, if he likes why does he do it like he's got himself together with Lisa? 

Shouldn't destroy it?

Han stepped inside the room that read ‘Ceo Cho’. Since the position is still held by Mr. Cho so Han is a little uncomfortable with his father Jungwon, but this is a business, whoever Han's people should be professional.

“Welcome Mr. Han.” said Mr. Cho, the man was sitting in his chair with a girl on his lap. 

“like I came at the wrong time, Mr. Cho.” grins Han following the fear on the girl's face, Han is so sick of seeing things like this, she said, not because he was envious but rather that he felt sorry for the girl who had to serve the old man for material interests.

“Yes, that's right. You should have come when my son was here, he wanted to know you.” Mr. Cho encourages the girl to get off her lap, ordering her to get out of the room. 

“your son?” next to his eyebrows raised, he still had not sat down before Mr. Cho could present himself, he was standing before the old man's table.

“that's right, since I'm the successor of Cho Group, I need to learn a lot with you.” someone's voice came from the direction of the entrance, he just stepped in just like that approaching the two men in suits. Who else if not Jungwon who just talked to Han and Mr. Cho.

Han showed a flat face, the man was eager to pull the body and gave a few punches for making Lisa like that and not to mention Han who almost lost control, “you? Mr Cho's son?”

“that's right, he's my son. His name is Cho Jungwon.” said Mr. Cho, he hugged his son proudly in front of Han. 

“but sorry, I don't have much time here, I just ask for the draft that Mr. Cho has said and signed our cooperation contract.” Han said, since time was already going to show Han's lunch time had to leave immediately. 

Mr. Cho gave Han what he asked for, he also gave their agreement. 

“til you meet.” said Han, he left with his respect. 

Jungwon blocked Han's move. “there's something I want to say, we can talk on the way” Jungwon said, she walks side by side with Han. 

“remember Mr. Han, what you have now may disappear later, because the little thing you ignore will be a big problem” Jungwon said, he stopped as Han was about to step into the elevator, leaving behind a warning that was still so contentious that there was not even a single sentence what the purpose was. 

Han held off the elevator when it was about to close, he would not be afraid of that threat that was fixed on him “as long as it was still within my surroundings, small stains will not be able to touch it and remember everything will still have a way, if you want to destroy my life do it but if it is related to Lisa, be prepared to face me.”

“you will regret for underestimating him.” Jungwon turned around and started leaving Han who was still standing in front of the elevator. 

Like the times Han was wrong, the man did not want Lisa, it was clear that revenge was on him, but as if using Lisa as his target, if like this Han must know everything before getting bigger. 

After leaving the Cho Group building, Han's journey to the residence of the father's house, somehow the feeling continues to lead him to immediately meet Sean, maybe this is the effect of longing or there is another feeling. 

But sometimes the things Han felt were sometimes true. 

Because usually at this time the father does his health therapy, so Han can freely meet with the sister. He passed the stairs after opening the door, stepping towards the sister's room.

Han was glued to the door of the sister's room, her hands trembling violently and as if things were becoming more frightening. 

A few seconds Han just ran up to the sister, yelling her name and hugging her. 

“Sean!”

“Sean?!”

“Sean wake up!” 

Sean's ice-cold body, pale face and blue lips explained everything, not to mention that such a messy room invited a thousand questions, what exactly happened as long as Han did not return? 

Han quickly lifted the body of the younger brother, ran carrying him out of the house and immediately headed for the nearest hospital.

Han ran while carrying his sister's body, it was obvious that Han was so frightened and so tense thinking about things had always been unimaginable, was this that feeling? But what Han thought was different, he thought that Sean might know a figure named Jungwon, even though he was mentally dependent but Sean could still remember others, especially if someone interacts with them more. 

Take for example the former Han who just got married. 

Now that Sean is in the ER room, Han does not know how long Sean has been like that but Han still hopes Sean can be helped, he said, she tells her assistant to cancel her entire schedule and also decides on her personal chauffeur to pick up Lisa. 

Waiting anxiously in front of the door Han looked calm, he was several pacing there. Occasionally glancing at the doorway to see the younger brother, the mind continued to miserably distrust the father and determine the conclusion if they tried to kill. 

Until the taste has passed 2 hours, and the clock has shown at 3 pm, there is no sign the door will be opened soon, he said, it's possible that in doing the operation that must be done immediately or Sean's life is at stake there. 

Until twenty minutes passed, when Han began to despair. The door of the room opened revealing several doctors and nurses coming out, Han immediately approached one of them.

“what about my sister doc?”

“this problem is very serious, I do not understand a lot of sleeping pills in his body that may be consumed in excess, his body gives an allergic reaction and we need to neutralize allergies that can trigger poisoning.” said the doctor, he explained without knowing if Han felt hit with that explanation. 

Like thousands of knives piercing his body together, he never thought Sean would suffer any further. “how likely the pill was in his body.”

“maybe up to 10 - 15 grains.” The doctor came out Han to take clothes for surgery, “please sign for next action.”

Han immediately signed everything, he hoped that the operation this time could save Sean, he would be devastated if his sister left let alone Han would feel wrong if it happened. 

“Noona can you accompany Lisa? The girl will be lonely, I can't go back quickly and please don't tell me anything if my dad calls you, don't answer if Lisa asks about me.” Han said, keira was the only person who always believed in him. 

The problem gets more complicated, Han has not.resolving his problem with Lisa, the girl continues to avoid herself and is silent a thousand languages when Han wants to straighten things out. 

Now Han must know everything that happened in his father's house, how they were so willing to do that to Sean, giving so many bills and even almost killing his sister. 

“and one more, I need CCTV footage for the last three weeks” Han ended the call, he needs to know who wants to get rid of the sister, maybe this has something to do with Jungwon? 

The man was also present at the ceremony his father had made at the residence, and it was indirectly possible that Jungwon was behind all this, recalling how he had easily given Lisa a stimulant.

But Han has no need for proof, it is just speculation, and not necessarily accurate, because Han does not know the motive of everything Jungwon does.
