Chapter 16 - Surrender

Lisa has to be late at night today, she has to follow all the activities ahead of her close to the graduation exam when the exam will take place next month but Lisa is determined to get the best grades and get into university with her friend Mina, in Lisa's little hope, she longed to be a pianist, playing the piano was something Lisa always did whenever she had free time. 

Previously Lisa did not tell the mother if she would take additional lessons after returning home from school, today also somehow Lisa forgot everything, he did not even focus on the lessons and several times tried to fall asleep in the lesson hours. 

“Mina, how do I get home? I don't know the way home” said Lisa, she was holding her purse strings anxiously, the day had entered twilight and Lisa didn't know she had to go home, he also could not book a taxi online because his phone was left at home.

Mina who was typing something on the phone screen looked at Lisa. 

“I don't know Lisa either, I forgot to bring my wallet, that's now I'm contacting my dad” said Mina, she's the same as Lisa, too, a child who is born is spoiled by the wealth of both parents that he has, so that if something happens he can only rely on his family.

The two girls are busy thinking about how to get back home, both Mina and Lisa do not realize that a white car is approaching them and just stop in front of them.

“what's your father Mina?” lisa asked, she glanced towards the car in front of her, Lisa knew that Mina only had her father and her mother had long since died from illness.

“My dad's car? I don't think it's my dad, it might be your mom or your Unnie might”

“Mom? I know the car Mom used to wear, and Eonnie Hee-Jin never drove the car” 

The expectations of Lisa or Mina turned out to be much different when the car door opened, a man in a white T-shirt and black jeans walked up to them by opening his sunglasses. 

Maybe the reaction of the other students seeing the man step up would be like meeting an idol, but Lisa and Mina were both scared instead, because it might just be the bad guy who wanted to kidnap them.

“Lisa, you know the man?” Asked Mina, she slightly stepped back which was certainly followed by Lisa's steps.

“if I knew him, I wouldn't be as afraid as you are, Mina”

Han frowned in disbelief, a handsome man like himself was instead frightened by the two girls, with a flat facial expression Han stepped closer to them and pulled the hand that he knew was Lisa, the girl he will be betrothed to.

Before he was forced to be here and pick up the girl in high school uniform, who else could make himself in this school if not the father's orders,  if today the mother of the girl did not come to him maybe Han is now resting in the apartment or secret room in his office.

But, the more trouble made Han no other choice, nor did he care much about this matchmaking, there was no benefit and it made Han even more eager to leave that mansion, either, he prefers a simple life rather than a life of pressure and coercion.

“Hey! Relax I will not do anything to you guys” said Han, he opened the black hat he was wearing, he approached the two girls in high school uniform.

“what do Ahjussi want to do here?” lisa said with a little lower her gaze, as much as possible she hid Mina behind her body even though actually Lisa was also afraid.

Lisa brushed off the man's hand with a bit of pushy. 

“Ahjussi? Am I that old for you, come on Lisa don't waste my time, there's dinner you have to attend” Han said, with a little rough the man pulled on Lisa's wrist, forcing the girl to leave the school gates immediately. 

Lisa whimpers do not like, for 17 years she was never treated rudely like by anyone, “Ahjussi! Unhand me!! I don't know you!”

Every way Lisa does it until she has to bite the hand of an unknown man.

“Akh!!” han's reflexes released the girl's wrist, Han really did not understand the nature of the current High School boy who did not understand anything but his attitude greatly irritated him. “You! Dare to go far, I make sure---,”

Just feeling the pain in his hand, now Han's must be damaged by the girl, easily the girl kicked his right when she just wanted to chase after him. “You--, Akh! Pain”

Lisa uses the opportunity to run back to Mina, hinting Mina to come along and leave school.

“Mina! Come!” 

She reached out and was immediately greeted by Mina, both of them running away from school without thinking about the fate of the man in pain, it was fortunate that at school it was not too crowded so not many people saw him. 

“Sial!!” Han tried to wake up even though it felt so painful to stand himself so hard, destroyed already the title ‘prince ice’ in him, he said, whereas during college Han had participated in one of the martial activities but he could not even hold back the girl and ended up like that.

While Mina and Lisa have both been far away from school, fortunately both have good running skills so running away is the mainstay of both.

“Mina sorry ya” Lisa said, she moved her uniform to relieve a bit of dehydration in her body, and decided to tie her hair. 

“it's okay Lisa, what do you want? A mineral? A coffee? Or Juice?” mina asked, she was busy determining what she wanted to drink while slightly reducing the sweat on her body. 

“Mineral, and I want a box of milk chocolate and bread” Lisa said, actually he was also hungry because today he followed the deepening of the material without telling his mother and automatically he did not get additional money or supplies.

“Lisa hungry? What if we buy ramen and eat here?” 

Mina, who was not hungry, became hungry while listening to Lisa's stomach.

Lucky because today Lisa still carries the allowance she keeps, both enjoy ramen and some food outside the store, the air is not too cold and the time is already showing at 7 p.m, making Lisa and Mina to the attention of some people who passed by in front of the store. 

Maybe because they should have been at home, life here is very high up on discipline and strong tolerance so it is natural that Lisa and Mina are the center of attention of some people, he said, because if a student sits in front of a store like that it can give a negative impression.

“Mina, is your family no one to pick up? It's late, it's not good we're still hanging around in school uniforms” Lisa closed the ramen cup and threw it in place, she drank the milk box she bought.

“I have told my father, soon my father will come” Mina continues to reply to chats from the father, she is so dear because Mina is one-on-one and remembers her mother is no longer there, maybe that's why her father took care of Mina so much.

“good, I want to buy something” it doesn't taste enough to just eat ramen and a box of milk, he said, because of her age is still in the growth period Lisa requires a lot of food intake especially if she only ate all day only supplies made by her mother, at least Lisa wanted to buy ice cream and some light eating.

“please don't lama” Mina is still busy spending her ramen. 

Lisa nodded in understanding, while carrying her purse stepped into the minimarket, she immediately approached the snack area, not far from where there was a man dressed all in black, he was so closed that he could not recognize his face. 

Seeing that Lisa was a little away from him, if Lisa noticed the man like he didn't want to take her away but instead she seemed like he wanted to steal something, seeing that Lisa ventured to approach him.

“You! I know if you want to steal something here, right?”

The man who was dressed all in black stared at the source of the voice, he did not expect to be accused of being a thief when usually people will immediately know him like a sasaeng (fanat fans ). 

“No! I don't steal, I want to buy food” he said.

Lisa narrowed her eyes, she folded her hands in front of her chest, the man's words were completely unbelievable at all. 

“i don't believe!” 

“do you not know me?”

Lisa shook her head, she still stared intently at the man before her. 

“Lisa! You lam-” Mina was glued when she saw the man in front of Lisa, she blinked her eyes repeatedly, what a miracle she had done until she was able to meet the handsome man who adorned her room. 

“Ch-ul--, Yeon! Oh blimey!! Oppa Yeon!” Mina shouted in excitement as she ran over to the man in all black clothes.

“Chul Yeon?” Lisa asked puzzledly, she did not know the name Mina mentioned to make the woman like she wanted to attract the man.

The man dressed all in black immediately left the place just like that, he did not want to take any risks, not to mention this Minimarket is quite crowded.

“Oh Shit! I lost fast, even though I just met Oppa Chul Yeon” Mina showed a sad expression, but, just now he wanted to take out his phone or at least ask for the man's signature but he really lost fast.

“Mina come, your father has come, right? Let's meet him” said Lisa, she pulled Mina to leave the minimarket immediately and tried to make friends forget the man named ‘Chul Yeon’
