Chapter 18: If You

This is where Lisa, sitting between the two men again, actually after the incident, Lisa was reluctant to see the man named Han, or maybe her future husband, err! The man Lisa hasn't even imagined will be her life partner.

Lisa was silent as she continued to hold her hand, forcing Lisa to stay by her side when she knew it was approaching midnight and remembered so many things to do, but all of this left him with no ability to leave.

How will everyone finally know, if in a matter of months Lisa must get married. 

She doesn't even know anything about what marriage means, let alone being the good wife that Mr. Kang just told her, yet Lisa is so innocent in every way, he may be blind and stupid to the outside world. 

“I can destroy everything you have Miss Park and I will guarantee if the princess will not be able to enter the university she wants” said Father Han firmly, he really wasn't playing around in this affair, the middle-aged man seemed to not falter with anything Han said.

“but why should I?” lisa said quickly, although it might sound so disrespectful to reproach Mr. Kang. 

“Lisa!”

“Why Mom? Eon--.” Lisa's mouth closed so tightly by the mother when she would mention the name of the sister who had not been discussed by her mother, his mother seemed to assume that Lisa was the only daughter he had, as if Heejin was not between himself and Yoona.

“Sorry, my daughter is so exhausted, I will take her to her room” said Yoona, Lisa's words were really out of Lisa's mind to make her a little rude to the princess. “Lisa, rest and don't forget to check your duties”

Yoona swallows her saliva like she is so thirsty, she returns to the guest room after coaxing Lisa back to her room, at least Han and Lisa have met, for the next problem Yoona can still handle on her own, maybe he needs to explain everything to his two daughters.

“I want them both to know before getting married” said Mr. Kang.

Han and Yoona looked directly at the middle-aged man, sitting there really like he was doing heart gymnastics, Han had no words to refuse this marriage, there is no way and the result remains the same.

“I will arrange the meeting of the two” said Yoona, she spoke as if she did not know who would hurt whom, she continued to follow and forgot what would happen, she said, how Lisa can face everything on the guidance of her. 

Although in this world so expect to see the princess married and happy. But this is not what Yoona wants, is it possible that Lisa will be happy?

“as it is clear, what if we go back? It's not good to be at someone else's house for so long” said Han, he wanted to get back home immediately and thought this was a burden that would come off when he closed his eyes and the next day he could breathe a little.

Han's father nodded in understanding, he picked up a cane and walked towards the outside of the house where his drivers and personal servants were waiting for him.

“Han, come in” said Mr. Kang, he said it was to commemorate the son for one car with him, even though if Han remembered here with his car.

“Shit!” Han slammed the car door so hard, today it felt like his head was so eager to explode against every single person before him. He walked up to the father's car and handed the key to one of the servants. 

He made a breath, there was a little relief when he opened the door to Lisa's room, apparently his daughter was asleep under his favorite blanket. 

Hows it? Lisa is an innocent girl who is so obedient and innocent, Yoona can't imagine everything being like this, let alone Lisa who just sat in 3rd grade of High School. What if his friend knows, how he will withstand all the misunderstandings that his friend asked.

Yoona walked over to stroke the princess' head. 

“maybe Mom is not a good mother and also someone who can not protect you, Mom loves you so much that Mom unknowingly there are many wounds there” 

Yoona looked at Lisa's tired face while holding back her tears, it felt like Yoona didn't want that day to happen. 

“Mom should how? All Mothers would have wanted to see her daughter married but it would have been so painful to see her daughter injured”

Yoona remembered how Lisa understood, when the other friends were so proud of their father in front of the other classmates, the daughter could not even see the face, their meeting was so short. 

Yoona also recalled the time Lisa was sick and the first sentence she said in each of her sleep was ‘I'm sure my dad is a good guy, although I never met her, ’ Lisa said it was every time she had a fever and missed her father.

That's right, Yoona and Cristian farewell. Making Yoona eliminate everything related to her ex-husband until none for Lisa knows the figure of the father, Yoona selfishness forgets the fate of Lisa who still needs a father figure in her life.

“Maaf” Yoona wiped away a tear running down her cheek, the voice kept holding back from letting out a sobbing that could disturb her daughter's sleep. “Mom, sure Lisa will understand all this why Lisa never met Daddy, Mom Also sure this marriage will provide a lot of explanations that you might not be able to answer, but remember one thing. After 15 minutes of her leaving the room, Lisa shook off the blanket that covered her body. She was not asleep, Lisa was only surprised when the mother went into her room and decided to pretend that she was asleep, but Lisa doesn't know if Mom's purpose came here to explain everything. 

Lisa was certainly disappointed, she felt she had been lied to all this time, she thought the father had indeed died since he was just 5 years old, and so entrusted Lisa was when the mother said that if her sister studied abroad and lived with her mother's friends, Lisa also obeyed everything Yoona said without a single sentence to refute her.
