Zombies

Zombies
42: Material Collection 2

The originally dark atmosphere, was now filled with the hot light from the blazing flames. The people who were calm, gathered. Clustered with their respective weapons and unceasingly opened fire in various different directions. With the lighting not too good, the 3 rapidly moving figures repeatedly escaped the shots and attacks that were thrown. Everyone was panicked, agitated, muted into tension. Instead, the three zombies that were targeted actually looked to have fun.

Avoiding every shot, then nimbly injuring only a few people. They seem to have no interest in kidnapping or killing one of the humans, all three of whom just run and run. Sometimes it stops, makes people focus and then go back to running. Tempting men to shoot each other or even make them wrong target and almost hurt their own colleagues.

" ... ."

Aren't these zombies so good?

Nanda and Ganesha who arrived at the location, found that the three zombies were 3 teenage boys. They look like 13 or 14-year-old boys, with tattered clothes and gray skin. Their foul mouths grinned, seen laughing with the confused and frantic reactions of every human, having fun dodging every shot as if the humans were taking them to play 'catch me'.

Nanda, it could easily hide his life energy from leaking. The life energy was the 'hot' that the zombies felt from the flowing blood. But this rhythm is not directly proportional to the heart rate of the power users. The body temperature of the power user does tend to be lower, this becomes the body's natural defense to avoid the 'sensors' of the zombies.

From Ganesha's mouth, Nanda finally did an experiment with herself. His body temperature remained, but he tried to hide his breathing. It's working. The top level zombies or even Ganesha himself, did not feel the heat of Nanda's life. But if he is injured, easily a sharp smell will feel sweet from the energy that leaks.

That was why, when Nanda and Ganesha appeared, the three zombies were not aware of their existence at all. Or maybe, not interested at all. Yeah.Zombies are like that. They are not interested in anything but living things. Yet somehow, these three little zombies looked different.

From whatever angle Nanda saw it, they .. they looked more alive.

"Don't kill them" Nanda whispered, asking Ganesha to drive the three zombies away. Ganesha answered by rubbing Nanda's head, then left without saying a word.

It is rare to find a zombie that understands pleasure and has emotions. Somehow, Nanda really did not want these three little zombies to die. They don't look like any other zombie. The three of them were very silly and funny, Moreover, there was a high chance that the three would be 'same' like Ganesha. Slowly have common sense then .. not prey on people anymore.

Ganesha came and helped some people quickly. Lightning suddenly appeared flickering in the darkness. Deliberately, the tall man with pale skin would make a high-voltage lightning, always putting him close to hitting the little zombies. It made the atmosphere turn into unfavorable for the three zombies.

It seems as if they cannot move. Always surprised by the sudden presence of lightning. Whether intentionally or not, every sharp glint with a dazzling bright light of vision, would always come close to them when they were about to attack another human being.

It made the three growl angry. This time, the zombies no longer attacked others, the three attacked Ganesha brutally. But every time you try to get close, there will be high-voltage lightning that will almost burn them. Even when one of them managed to get close to the half-masked man, they would instantly be pulled and thrown against the wall as if their body was a throwing ball.

This guy is too strong. The three zombies realized that. However, between food or life, these three are not stupid to choose life directly. After all, the person they attacked was clearly a higher level zombie. So, after repeatedly failing and almost becoming roast meat, the three zombies finally gave up and escaped out of the Mall.

"... ."

Silent.

All pairs of eyes stared in amazement at that tall, sturdy figure. Only single-handedly, this masked man could fight against three level 4 zombies at once. Although the three zombies did not die and instead fled, this was also an incredible result. Look at that body! This man did not even sweat a single drop!

The strapping body layered in short-sleeved shirts and long black pants look very different. His pair of legs were upholstered in army bots, sturdy and definitely supporting the body. Although covered by a short-sleeved black shirt, both pale white arms still exposed some of the muscles formed. It looked like a pair of claws full of power capable of destroying anything. Especially with a half-face mask that has a pair of horns, the image actually forms a strong and impressive figure for anyone who sees it.

Although they knew Ganesha was strong, seeing this man directly easily repel the top grade zombies still gave a deep impression.

"Darling!"

The astonishing atmosphere broke once the shrill voice of a woman pierced the hearing. Nanda, with a glee and mouth that could not stop smiling, immediately ran and jumped into her husband's arms. The pair of hazel was bright, staring greedily at the perfect man who reflexively, caught and directly carried him.

"Darling, you're so cool! Very, very, very cool! I love you more, you know? There's no man more cool and handsome than you!" without shame, Nanda praised her husband. He hugged Ganesha by the neck, showering him with kisses on the cheeks and nose.

Ganesha. "You like it?"

"Very!"

"In that case, I'll be even more handsome."

Nanda's face paled immediately. "No!"

"Why?"

Nanda's expression turned serious. She looked at her husband seriously. "Darling, if you're getting better looking and cooler, what if a lot of people like you? If they crowd you, I'll be very troubled! Do you have the heart to see me being jealous all the time?"

"... ."

Can they keep those words for just the two of them?

Everyone who was watching this scene of a married couple was really irritated. A chat that seems to spark such intimacy is very annoying to hear. Almost everyone here is single, okay? It is even more difficult to find a partner in this situation, why should they watch this ridiculous couple's love-dovy show? Are they both showing off?

Nanda giggled, descending from Ganesha's sling and holding her husband with a big smile. But just as they were about to turn around and walk, they saw the approaching King. The tall tan-skinned man looked at Ganesha, only slightly glancing at Nanda, wrinkling his eyebrows, but looking back at the masked man.

"Ganesha, can you beat a level 5 zombie?" ask the King to the point.

"Yes" Ganesha replied without hesitation.

"Then can you help me practice?"

Eh?

Nanda gawked at hearing that. A pair of hazel was breaking into pieces, staring in disbelief at what the King had just said. After all, the King looked like an arrogant person. He has the self-esteem of a leader and does not seem to want to admit he is weaker. However, Nanda did not say anything. Nanda was silent, hiding the shock on his face in a matter of seconds. However, he understood why the King was willing to ask for this and put his prestige aside.

The king is a leader. It was his duty to protect the members of this group and this man, was indeed always obsessed with strength. Especially with the world already falling into a near-primitive point, power becomes the only thing that guarantees everything. Not only is the principle for the safety of life, but also becomes a benchmark of social status in the eyes of everyone.

"I know," the King nodded, not giving up one bit. "Therefore, the part to find the crew and also the captain of the ship, let me take care of it. Assume it's a fee for training."

Find Crew and also ship captain ...

That sounds very tempting. Nanda could not deny that the King's offer was excellent. After all, it was extremely difficult to gather the people who were used to pilot the ship. Moreover, they will obviously take the group across the ocean, it takes professional experts who are accustomed to driving a large ship.

They've discussed this before. Tell the intended location will cross the ocean. But they are purely in charge of delivering, will not help to collect or think about how to cross the high seas. So, this part is part Nanda and Ganesha because no matter paying anything, the King still shook his head to help cross the ocean.

It's a difficult thing, everyone knows it. The reason the King refused was also quite reasonable. He wasn't sure he could actually gather people and find a suitable ship. After all, it has been almost a year since the virus spread, which ship is still good to use?

Ganesha was silent for a few seconds. This time, he did not refuse. Instead, a pair of dark irises glanced briefly at the woman next to him. Nanda only blinked as Ganesha looked, then both of them looked at the King.

"That's all?"

The King's eyebrows are adrift. Realizing that this masked man was not satisfied with just his offer. "What do you want?"

"I want to borrow one of your group members."

"Who?" The king did not agree. The offer is already very big, he does not want until this deal becomes biased. "Why borrow members of my group?"

"Ifa," Ganesha mentioned the name of one of the King's subordinates without hesitation. "I just want to use his space ability, won't he be able to make food fresh?" Ifa's unique space ability, was not a secret in the group. So, it was not unusual for Ganesha to know of Ifa's abilities even when this man had only stayed one night in the King's group.

"Can't" the man refused. Ifa's abilities were invaluable to their group, but unfortunately it was limited. Ifa tends to be weak using her abilities, making her only able to hold at most 2kg of foodstuffs to change. Now, Ganesha wants Ifa's abilities, which the leader resolutely denies.

"Why?" Nanda interrupted. A pair of round hazel pranks. "We will pay each time using Kak Ifa's ability," added Nanda.

The king did not answer Nanda. Instead, he looked at the pigtailed woman standing next to Ganesha. The figure was slender, using long jeans and a large jacket that reached the thighs. His small body was submerged in an oversized jacket, giving off a petite and childish impression. It looks innocent and innocent, but it is clearly cunning and calculating.

"Ifa was exhausted enough using her ability for the group, she couldn't use her ability for others" explained King. His tone was flat, affirming that these two people were not members of the group and were other people.

"That's why we paid," Nanda pouted. His lips were pursed. "We pay with the nucleus, so Sister Ifa won't be exhausted right?"

Nucleus is good for the ability user. It is a crystallized enzyme, like nutrients that are able to be directly absorbed by the body and give an effect that is visible to the naked eye.

"Then tell that to Ifa."

"If I agree, will you agree?" Nanda threw this important question. He honestly wanted to negotiate with Ifa, but it would be useless if Ifa agreed but the King did not agree. After all, the King was a rather stubborn leader ...

"If I agreed, would you agree to teach me?" this time, the King looked at Ganesha. He uttered the same sentence as Nanda, asking for the approval of a man slightly higher than her.

The masked figure, without hesitation nodded. "I agree," he said. "But to find the crew and the captain of the ship, you still have to do it."

The king clenched his mouth shut with the last words coming out of Ganesha's mouth. "You asked for two conditions."

"The second condition does not include count," Ganesha denied. "That's Ifa's decision, we just hire his services and pay according to the energy he gives."

The king could not deny. What this man said is true. They will pay Ifa according to the energy it provides, this is clearly a favorable reciprocal state. This will not fit into the 'training payment' count'.

"OK, but let me and some of my men practice."

"I will only accept 4 people. You and your three members, who those three are up to you."

The king knitted his eyebrows. "Do you guarantee that we will be able to kill level 5 zombies?"

"No," Ganesha replied firmly. "But I guarantee you will be stronger, at least, each of you is able to kill a level 4."

"How long will it take for you to train us to be able to kill a level 4?"

Ganesha blinked, then a grin spread across his lips. For some reason, the King was rather goosebumps looking at the grin on the mask's pale lips. "1 month" he replied firmly. The tone was full of confidence, not doubting at all with the estimated time given. "Not more or less."

A pair of irises stared at the masked man for a few seconds, then finally nodded. "OK," agreed. "Hold your word."

Ganesha said nothing. He only nodded lightly, letting the King not mince words back and leave the couple without looking back. Oh, there's still so much to take care of. They still have to clean up the contents of the Mall and make sure, there will not be a single member of the group left behind or even disappear.

No one wanted to pay attention to Boss' business as well as the masked man. The moment the level 4 zombies were defeated, everyone had already started to re-spread and hurriedly gather materials. So, when both sides took the deal, other than Nanda who had been with Ganesha since then, no one knew.

"How do you teach them?" Nanda looked up, staring at her husband's bewildered. He never saw Ganesha teach. Either when this man as a human, or even a zombie. So, where does that confident attitude come from?

"It's easy," Ganesha smiled, gently rubbing his wife's black strands of hair. "The potential of every living being, will instantly come out when they feel the crisis between life and death, so, making them strong is not something that is difficult."

"... ." Nanda lost her words. Oh, since when did her husband go from zombie to devil teacher? Is it because of the masks he wears? Or because her husband was secretly jealous of the King? Nanda swallowed the forced saliva. Suddenly, he felt somewhat sorry for the group that Ganesha would train for later.

However, Nanda is a good wife. So she nodded, selflessly supporting her husband. "OK, as long as they don't really die, it won't matter."

Ganesha. He did not say anything and just rubbed Nanda's head while walking back to pierce this big Mall slowly.
