Zombies

Zombies
27: Base 1 AD

Nanda really does not know what curse befalls their group.

The journey to Base 1 is very winding and long. Almost every day, they would be chased by mutant beasts. But this time, there was no group, only a few tails or just a mutant animal. However, somehow ..all the animals that ran approached their group, always varying as if they were deliberately queuing up one by one, from different races, to chase after them.

"Did they form self-awareness? Not only in terms of ability and increased body volume, but their IQ is also higher?" Dimas knitted his eyebrows. This time, they did not lack a single person or lose a car. But the pursuit of the mutant animals continues. Surprisingly, so far, they had not found a single zombie approaching.

Are zombies afraid of mutant animals? Or have these mutant animals cleared the zombies in this forest?

"I feel like they think we're toys" Nanda said honestly. Tonight, as usual, their group huddled at the campfire. Discuss and analyze what the problem is and how to solve it. In addition to foodstuffs that are increasingly reduced, fortunately gasoline is still stored a lot. Thanks to the mutants, they stepped on the gas more often to avoid fighting.

After all, bullets were extremely valuable, the ability users also could not always use their abilities due to physical problems. They could only use the ability when the life of one of the comrades would be threatened.

"Toy?"

"First time, the one who chased us was Chicken," Nanda lowered her head, took a twig and drew on the ground. "Then Hamsters, rabbits, rats, even birds, then goats, cows, pigs, deer, rhinos, squirrels, snakes, then last time this afternoon, frogs."

Nanda pursed her lips. Draw IIII continuously and calculate how many types of animals are chasing. "One by one appear in turn, they seem to be playing a chase. For the first time ... seems pure revenge because we killed their group? Come to think of it, afterwards, even though these animals were chasing, they did not attack us at all. Then, what's the point of them chasing except ... except to think of us as toys?"

Nanda does not believe that they have high consciousness, but Nanda believes that their IQ has indeed increased. If not, how can these animals be kind, one by one appear and not in groups?

Nanda's speculations made some small commotion.

"Do you consider us as food?" some Soldiers replied.

"Don't you remember that cats used to play with rats before they ate them?"

"When we get to the limits of a certain territory, will they start attacking?"

"Our numbers aren't enough for them to eat-"

"You want to be considered food?!"

"Why don't we attack and kill when they just show up?"

"Stupid! You don't remember that horde of chickens? What if they take revenge and attack in groups like those chickens?!"

Alternatively, several conversations with problems and solutions are thrown out. Everything was themed about the mutant animals that were chasing them. But no one can really come to an agreement. Nanda breathed in his heart. Still looking down and drawing on the ground with twigs while listening to people arguing.

For some reason, Nanda somehow did not feel the animals had any plans to eat them. Instead, long ago, their appearance alternately looks very ... funny? They were curious about other races. Intended to approach and recognize, but because they run, the animals reflexively chase and assume they are playing?

Okay. Blame brain. Thank you for feeling strong and defeating one mutant by himself was only a small matter. But from the point of view of some people who are much weaker than the mutants, when they see a giant animal suddenly chasing and looks dangerous ... who would not die of fear and run?

Nanda sighed in his heart. Unknowingly, the corner of his mouth bent into a smile.

The only good thing about the mutants is that they forced the group to get to Base 1 AD.

The brownish-red wall was firmly standing. Thick and looks very aggressive with a height of more than 5 meters. From a distance, it was like a long Chinese wall and restricted a certain territory within it. In terms of size, it is clear that the existence of this longitudinal wall is much larger than Base 2. Just looking at it from a distance, the car troupe had already felt the splendor of the red wall that looked arrogant.

Dimas, without hesitation contact the channel Base 1 AD. They did not need to get to the wall, some soldiers had already approached, grabbed the car and started greeting each other. Then some people looked at Nanda, greeted kindly and quietly made sure that the person that Base 2 sent, was indeed the person they were looking for.

Nanda took a breath and exhaled slowly as they were getting closer to the wall. Oh, in just a few months, Base 1 AD was able to create a layer of earthen walls that were so large and spacious. They were even on guard with the soldiers wandering around the wall. Management is clearly well-organized, but Nanda knows, as great as it is. It is impossible in a few months to be implemented so quickly and well. What they did was as if they had indeed prepared for a long time, before the zombie virus spread.

A pair of hazel dims.

Her husband's family was a good person, what else was his Father and Mother-in-law. But Nanda still quite remembered with the busyness of the work done by his father-in-law and his father-in-law just a few days before the rain flushed after a prolonged summer. The action that Nanda realized most was his father's emphasis on not drinking or utilizing rainwater. He was not even responsible for sending water to the house for fear that they would use rainwater.

Nanda suspects that they know the virus is about to spread, but he doesn't take the trouble for it. The first thing he thought about was the gap of time to meet his Mama and gather his loved ones so that they would all be safe. Therefore, after getting permission from Ganesha who is somehow very busy, Nanda can only fly on a plane to go home to see his mother.

But unfortunately, Yulis did not go directly to his mother's house according to Nanda's request. That's the reason why Nanda left immediately after the last day of rain. He intends to pick up his best friend, as well as plunder some things in the city for their preparation. But who would have thought that he would miscalculate? Falling asleep for 3 weeks, then .. find everything is too late to do.

How does her husband feel now? Oh, Nanda could imagine Ganesha going crazy from being too anxious. Her husband tends to be possessive, he will not bear to see Nanda hurt or even in danger. Imagining herself running around in the middle of zombies, Nanda was convinced, during these few months, her husband must have been desperately searching ...

Nanda. His heart was pounding so hard that it made his stomach twitch. Suddenly, he was very anxious and nervous. She is happy to meet Ganesha, she misses her husband very much. But imagine the man's anger ... oh, how could he comfort her husband? Ganesha was actually a gentle person and would obey whatever he wanted, but when it came to the safety of his own wife, that figure would turn firm and intolerant.

Nanda's mind is tangled. He could not even notice the changing circumstances surrounding him. The car that was driven had already passed through the red wall. The neighborhood, which was originally a forest, is now turned into an urban area with several high-rise buildings. The lively and orderly atmosphere, as well as the vehicles and people passing by, creates the illusion that the zombie assaults out there are actually nothing at all.

The army car in front shows the road. Driving at medium speed. Passing through several plots of plantations and fish ponds are neatly arranged. People wearing bamboo hats. Watching the ducks that were released, farming and some were carrying buckets full of floundering fish.

This view is very luxurious. Make the five dwarves in the car get excited. They started chatting, pointing at things or even laughing, greeting some of the farmers and ranchers who passed by. No one noticed Nanda's strangeness except Erica who was carrying a car. He glanced at his nephew and found a shorter figure lowered his head.

Erica really had no idea what Nanda was thinking. He wanted to ask but his nephew would definitely not answer honestly. In the end, he could only be quiet. Keep driving and follow the car ahead there reach a mansion that tends to be luxurious ...

The car stopped in front of the mansion. Some soldiers in the front car came down, telling each car something. Just when one of the soldiers got to Hummer Erica, the figure of the woman wearing green-colored military attire smiled amiably.

"This is the Wijaya family mansion," the woman's info. "The other car will go somewhere else for their business, Miss please enter the Mansion," he said kindly. After getting a nod and thanks from Erica, the female soldier walked up to the gate, spoke to some people there, then the gate opened.

The hummer, which had originally been silent, creaked and moved into the courtyard of the mansion. They passed through a garden filled with green grass and flowers, then approached the large 2-story building. Some cars are similar and tend to look more ferocious, parked neatly. Erica followed, parking there after one of the soldiers on guard directed.

"So, we get to," Erica reminded, success makes women pigtails jerked. A pair of hazel blinked, staring around in a circle before finally sighing. Nanda didn't say anything. He just got out of the car and seemed to know what to do, walked first towards the double door without waiting for the people behind him at all.

"You guys don't run around, come with Brother. Okay well? Do not fuss," Erica recalled, afraid that children will be noisy in the middle of the atmosphere of meetings between families who have long separated. The five dwarves nodded obediently. They will be quiet and calm.

Getting reassurance from the kids, Erica smiled. Finally, six people descended from the hummer. Following Nanda from behind and deliberately, somewhat keeping a distance once aware of that sturdy back, did not hesitate in the least or even wanted to look back. Nanda was too focused with what was inside his head, clearly not paying attention around.

Just as Nanda reached the door and entered it, a pair of hazel saw a large living room with a set of sofas and tables. There, in a rather luxurious room, there were 6 adults and two small children. The atmosphere was very lively when two toddlers were endlessly running around the sofa. Chases each other cheerfully and make both their parents anxious.

There were three adults wearing military uniforms. One woman and two men. The oldest man sat down. Wearing basic pants and a shirt, but despite having an age line on the skin and hair already whitened, his sturdy back and regular attitude are still clearly visible. Voicing a warm and restrained aura of leadership on every gesture created.

"Nda?"

The atmosphere was once crowded, suddenly silent. No one spoke as soon as the voice fell. All pairs of eyes immediately stared towards the open door, showing off the somewhat thin, white and shabby figure of a woman standing inside the elegant luxurious living room. He seems to be standing in the wrong place. But no one noticed that.

As soon as the call fell out, the family realized the person they were waiting for, had finally come.

The figure they had been looking for for months was in front of them.

"Double!" The woman, with the age line engraved on her face and her hair bunned, immediately rose to her feet. His eyes were red, stepping closer to Nanda in a hurry. Nanda jerks. The reflex goes first. Prevent that woman who approached and without any hesitation, splashing into a warm embrace.

"God ... Baby, are you really Nanda? You're all right? Do you know how much we worry about you? We searched for you everywhere, but we didn't find you!" The woman complained. His eyes were red with a voice trembling full of emotion. Both hands were wrinkled, incessantly hugging tightly onto the body of the woman in his arms, as if afraid that this child would disappear. As if this was a dream. "Look how thin you are .. forgive us, baby, we found you too long ... ."

Nanda shaking. His eyes were hot and his eyes were blurred. Hearing all the anxious words of the woman, made her heart seem to be watered with warmth. Nanda almost cried when she found out that she .. really missed this family. Especially Arina, the mother of Ganesha who already considered her as her own child.

"Mother .. ," Nanda's voice raspy. Gently, he let go of Arina's embrace and smilingly looked at the old woman. "Nanda's fine, I saw for myself, right? Nanda is healthy and not hurt in the slightest" he said calmly. "I'm sorry to worry you .. " a pair of brown irises turned to look at Dad, Sister-in-law and her two nieces. "Sorry to make you all anxious ... ."

Siska, the wife of Bima Wijaya, smiled gently. He got up, took Arina and Nanda's hands. "Mom, Nanda just arrived, the journey must be long, it's very tiring. Let's sit down first," she gently asked as she led them to sit on the sofa.

Nanda chuckles. "Sister, it has not been seen for a long time, Siska and Sinta Kak are getting more beautiful. Brother Bima and Brother Rizal are also getting handsome, OH! What else Daddy! More and more powerful!"

Siska glared at hearing it, but could not help but smile. "Yes, have you just started teasing us?"

"It's getting pretty, isn't it like you? Look at the body getting thinner, already like a mill board," Simpal relaxed.

Nanda glared at Sinta, then immediately turned towards Arina. "Mom! Lookie! Brother Sinta mocked Nanda!" his weakness.

Arina laughs. He pinched Nanda's nose. "Love is right, you are ugly. See it? You're so skinny."

"Mom!" Nanda frustrated. No one defended him. It made those in the room laugh. However, when Nanda looked towards the door, suddenly a pair of hazel came upon Erica and the Dwarves. A smile expands on the lips. "Tante, here, here."

Rising to his feet, Nanda instantly pulled Erica and the five dwarves into the mansion. These six comers looked awkward. More aware of their clothes, it looks like a gem who comes to busking.

Even though they were clean, with this kind of grubby clothes and bourgeois atmosphere, how could the six not be inferior?

"Mom, remember? This is Auntie, Aunt Erica, Papa's cousin," Nanda introduced Erica, making the short-haired lady clumsily smile and nod. "Well, this is Karin, Raga, Leo, Galih, and Monta. They were great kids who came with us during the trip," he said, introducing the five dwarves who immediately smiled brightly when they heard Nanda's praise.

"Hello," Bima smiled kindly, looked at the five little children then looked at the two toddlers who were looking at the guests curiously. "Dinda, Roni, let's meet the brothers" he said, encouraging his daughter and nephew to meet the five children older than them.

One by one, everyone introduced themselves. Nanda endlessly smiled looking at all of them, slowly becoming familiar. However, a pair of hazel incessantly glanced around, occasionally staring at the door expectantly or even to some other place that was visible to the eyes.

"Mom," Nanda pursed her lips, the eyebrows were adrift.

"Yes?"

"Where's Nesnes?" ask Nanda. "He still works?" agitated, a pair of hazel gazed towards the door. Oh, did Ganesha not know that his wife was coming today? Why hasn't it appeared yet?! Nanda was a little upset. Clearly aware that her husband must be sulking. Don't want to meet him and want him to persuade?

"Erica, children, come with Auntie, Auntie will show you your room," Siska stood up, smiling as she invited the guests to follow. His son and nephew were also taken, as if afraid they would be noisy and disturbing.

This subtle action caused Nanda's heart to melt. Suddenly, he noticed the change in the atmosphere of the room. His chest tightened, anxiety struck. Panic instead of play, a pair of hazel one by one pay attention to the facial expressions of the family that changed ...

"What happened to Ganesha?" nanda's voice raspy. He swallowed his forced saliva, suddenly afraid of hearing the answer his family would give. "Then ... What about Mom and Dad? Father ... A-Dad was looking for them too, right?"

Wijaya's family is looking for him, of course they are also looking for both parents, right? They're looking for Papa and Mama too, aren't they? Then Ganesha ... Ganesha was just sulking and didn't want to meet him, did he? Her husband ... her husband is okay right?

Nanda's afraid. Truly, this time ..he really felt scared.
