Zombies
40: Combat and Non-Fighter Groups

Sitting in the Caravan, a small room with a sofa facing each other and limited by a table, became a place to discuss. There was a map on the table, spread out in front of three men and one woman. The uneven road made some shocks to the car. But the four still remain focused on discussing, already accustomed to the atmosphere is not conducive like this.

"This place is the safest to make a hideout," Alfa pointed at the map section, making three different pairs of eyes look at him. He is a land power user, the person responsible for finding the safest place as long as the 'hunter' team is looking for food and organizes some strong people as protectors and guarding the 'temporary fort'.

"According to the Son, there are a few zombies hanging around. Safe remote area. Not too far from the village, but when Roro checked the location, the area was difficult for cars to pass. There is no road access there. The car should be abandoned and start walking."

The King's eyebrows are adrift. Finding a safe place is always a priority before they do a grocery search. After all, their foodstuffs were always suffocating, the nearest Base distance was still about two or three weeks away according to this speed.

Cut down trees and open roads? Not likely. The king did not want to risk his subordinates being exhausted and they were attacked by zombies. After all, it would be troublesome if his men ran out of energy just to make a path that they would use disposable.

"Boss, we'd better take everyone," Ifa opened her voice. She was the only woman in the meeting, but no one underestimated her. "The company will enter the village, but the group will stop at a place far from the Mall."

"Too dangerous" Alfa disagreed. "This is not a small village, the number of zombies will not be small."

Alfa knows very well the benchmarks of her group. Although he was in charge of arranging protection for the weak members, but his group was much weaker than the Hunters the King led. The four of them, each of them had a responsibility. Alpha is in charge of protecting the weak, Ifa as a regulator of weak groups and distribution of food to all people. Dwi's logistics team collects the nucleus and loot and Raja is the leader to attack and clean up the zombies before the logistics group can retrieve the groceries.

"But we can't go to that area, walking all the way to the top of the hill would be dangerous. Some parents can't stand it."

Alfa breathed. Which is more dangerous? Camping near the village or on foot?

"Get into the village," the King decided, agreeing with Ifa's proposal. "Ganesha is in my group, that's more than enough. Later I will send some people to you," the Boss looked at Alfa-explaining her thoughts.

Ifa doubt. "That's ... Boss, Ganesha is a masked person right? Is he really strong?" Honestly, he was happy because his idea was chosen, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have doubts. Ifa knew her decision was risky, but if taking people from her Boss group ... is that okay? Will they not lack strength when facing zombies later?

"She is very strong," Dwi who had been silent since, finally opened her voice. He leaned back on the sofa, chuckling while shaking his head. "He defeated a Level 4 zombie by himself" he added.

Only his group and the King's group saw the power of the masked man. So, when Dwi explained, the facial expressions of Ifa and Alfa changed equally.

Can I beat Level 4 alone? Is this guy a monster?! Oh, they did hear from some people gossip that Ganesha was very strong, but hearing Dwi's words, made them unable to resist from horror.

When they can be that strong ... how good, right?

"After all, walking towards the hill with a large number of people, will attract zombies. Free to the hill, the place will be immediately crowded by Zombies, so it is better to come and stop at the edge of the village, with the addition of the Boss team, your work will be lighter," Dwi pointed to Alfa. Explain his thoughts that he believed, in line with the King's thinking.

Seeing the expressions of the two colleagues, Dwi's grin grew even more fluffy. He crossed his arms, staring at the two pairs of eyes sitting across the table from him. "The level of masked mas-mas is very high, so you don't have to worry. Isn't that right, Boss? When necessary, that goes quite Boss and mas-mas masked only. Or even ask the masked mas who went alone to eradicate all the zombies!" Dwi complained, reflexes covering his head that hit the snare. "Why prick me, Boss?!"

"Don't talk nonsense," the King snorted, then looked back at his two subordinates. "I'll tell the attacking group, some will be immediately assigned to protect, you don't need to worry because Ganesha's level is indeed above me," pause a few seconds, the King noticed the facial expressions of his subordinates one by one. "Is there any advice or objections?"

Boss had already made up his mind and said like that, how would they mind? In the end, one problem was solved. Ifa re-open voice, this time discussing the details of some reduced foodstuffs and things that are a priority to have when later collected. There are two main things that are prioritized. Food and Medicines.

In this group there are 3 space power users. Ifa, Dwi and an old man. The old man served as a food container and some general purposes. The old man was unwilling to take care of troublesome things, that's why the logistics of the general part is that Ifa is the responsibility and Dwi is stronger and able to fight to kill zombies come into the King's group when hunting.

However, the capabilities of the Ifa space have different characteristics. The ability of Space belongs to Ifa, able to make any food will be fresh no matter if the meat or any food is expired or even rotted, but unfortunately, it is, the area of his room was limited and could not hold for too long if he did not want to spend his energy. Only when you want to cook, Ifa will put all the decaying materials into the room for a few minutes and then put it back in a fresh state.

The meeting was over, the four people stood up. Each has things that must be taken care of in accordance with the results of short meetings that they do. That is why, the car also stops, along with the group that will be given direction to each responsibility.

But as Ifa was about to exit the Caravan, a pair of irises glanced towards the closed blue hordes. There, without any sound at all, this woman knew very well that her Boss' Wife was asleep, or did ... pretend to be asleep while listening?

Pout, Ifa got out of the car. The thought of Luna made him feel disgusted. How not? As everyone worked hard, trying to keep tomorrow alive, he casually took refuge behind the Boss. Enjoy all the facilities that everyone has worked hard to achieve.

What's the point of Luna? The woman was not strong at all and could not fight. The lackluster lady even very rarely came out of the Caravan, acting weak-assed and timid. Worse, with the gentle treatment of her Boss, Ifa was sure Luna had never slept with the King.

Honestly, Ifa would not feel Luna is very annoying if the woman was still willing to socialize. It didn't matter if Luna couldn't fight. Well ... many members of this group cannot fight and take advantage of stronger people. But at least they all want to work, or at least try to help each other because they feel uncomfortable when not working.

But Luna?

Ifa grunts. He really did not understand what his Boss liked about Luna who clearly had no value other than face. Oh, is it just by straddling and showing the charm of his face, he can also get such treatment from Boss? Just need to be a lustful slave? Ifa even doubted her Boss really fucked Luna because it always found the calm atmosphere of the car without the charm of passion.

Suddenly, Ifa felt herself too demeaning to her Boss' vision. It made him sigh and shake his head. Thinking of Luna would only make a damn.

"Yahoo! Ahahaha!"

"Run fast! Run Quick! Zombie chase!"

"Graaawww! Who I catch, I'll eat! Uh! I caught you!"

"Gyaaah! Forgive me! Forgive me! Help u! Help me!" The little girl who was captured screamed in rebellion. His stomach was tickled by the figure who played the role of a zombie, making him not stop laughing and screaming. Some of the other kids heard him directly storm the zombie cast. Hugging zombies and taking turns tickling.

"Okay, Ahahahah! You cheats! Cheating!"

Ifa flashes. Look at the interaction of children with teenage girls who look clean and beautiful. His existence seemed to be incompatible with this environment. The teenage smile was innocent, laughing happily then putting on a feigned expression of anger.

This kid is just like Luna. Too protected, but clearly more open with others, but... in a chaotic world like now, there are still those who can keep laughing cheerfully like this?

"Who told you to get out of the car?" approaching the still cool figure himself, the tall woman looked at Nanda at a glance, then looked at the children. When the eyes of the two met, Ifa easily confirmed her conjecture. The face tends to be cute with both reddish round cheeks. Especially with a little arch on the lips, the teenager will show a pair of beautiful dimples.

Were it not for the protection of such a powerful masked man, Ifa was confident that this beautiful child would be a sex slave for the higher-ups in the Base. Oh, of course Ifa immediately recognized Nanda as a fellow masked man. How not? Only two additional people entered the group. The masked man and his partner, this smiling teenager.

"Your name's Nanda? Can we talk?"

Nanda blinked, before finally chuckling. "Oh? aren't we talking, brother."

Ifa nearly exploded hearing the teenager's response. But a pair of irises looked at the other children who were silent. Paying attention to their chatter and even giggling when hearing what Nanda said.

"Why is it still here? Get back in the car! You guys really want to be eaten by zombies?!"

There was no need for a second command, when the words came out, the children immediately ran around. Using his fastest and best ability to get into the car immediately before the fierce woman was even angrier. Oh, they know this time the troupe stopped for just a moment, but they're so bored, okay? There's nothing wrong with just going out and playing for a while, right?

Nanda scowled at this fierce lady who had just come. "Sister, I don't know you, I don't even know what your name is, but you already know my name-oh, I know, I'm very famous and beautiful, but Sis, as a new fens, as a new fens, it's not worth it to throw away my cute little friends. You're really too fierce."

"... ."

Is this kid having problems in his brain?

Ifa was really fascinated by that over-the-top narcissistic speech. Success makes him almost forget what he wants to do.

"So? What does Brother want to say? Uh, before that Brother has to tell Brother's name first, so if Big Brother asks for an autograph, I can write Brother's name as well. Ah, don't worry, even if it's not an artist, but I'm famous, so having my autograph is a good thing."

Nanda was still blabbering and Ifa was too blown away. Really, he was amazed. His hands suddenly itched, wanting to defend the child's head and see what was inside. Is there a brain? Or green beans? Or even his own photos so that this child was born with a strange accent and mouth that makes goosebumps anyone who hears?

Indeed, if there is a gun in his hand, Ifa is sure to directly shoot Nanda in the head to silence this child.

"Are you a user of ability?" Ifa interjected-do not want to make her ears tainted with Nanda's words that make goosebumps.

Nanda was silent for a few seconds, blinking before finally furrowing an eyebrow. "Sister, you haven't mentioned your name yet."

"I'm Ifa, the head of the logistics group of the non-attacker section," Ifa immediately introduced herself. Not wanting to argue with a child who has narcissistic disease. A few seconds later, a pair of irises stared at the hummer not too far away from them. The masked figure is inside. Leaning back on the chair. "In a moment we will go to the village, the group will go to look for materials. Your husband's going to collect the ingredients, are you coming with your husband or not?"

Nanda opened his mouth, about to answer, but Ifa spoke again. Not letting Nanda interrupt in the least.

"The "group is divided into two, non-combat and combat. The Combat section for fighting zombies and non-combatants were people who did not move against zombies. Your husband agreed to take the combat part, but that doesn't mean you're obligated to follow him. For safety's sake, if you can't fight, I suggest to follow the non-combat group and not force yourself. If you feel like you can follow your husband and take care of yourself, I won't stand in your way either."

"... ." Nanda gawking. I was in a daze hearing what the mouth was saying. Ifa says everything in one breath. Speech speed is even better than Nanda! Really, it really looks like I don't intend to explain anything.

"Do you understand or do I have to repeat it?" finally, Ifa finished talking. The pair of irises were firm, somewhat arrogant and cold. However, from the woman's words, Nanda understood that this group was divided into two parts. An arrangement that employs everyone according to ability. Oh, even after two lives, the King did not change this group system at all.

Nanda blinked. The pair of hazel shone, with curvy lips forming a smile. "Can't you repeat it? It's great! If so, try repeating again!"

"... ."

Where is this demon from?

Ifa swore she almost wanted to stop one of her friends from borrowing her gun.

"What part is not understood?" Ifa chooses patience. Oh, even though they say that this child is a 'wife', this childish nature and this innocent expression, it looks more like an underage boy being forced to marry. Being the 'maintenance' of the masked person, Ifa still believes this more.

Although 'Maintenance' doesn't usually act super annoying like this.

Nanda giggles. "I understand all," he said honestly, successfully making those who heard had to wipe the chest to keep themselves from killing others. "I'm going with my husband to collect materials" he replied.

Ifa sighed. "Gathering materials is very dangerous," although he does not like it, Ifa still kindly reminded this figure. "Everyone is responsible for their own lives. Especially in accordance with the agreement, your husband is indeed obliged to kill high-level zombies and ... ."

Ifa frowned, looking at Nanda from up and down, noticing the small body that looked weak. "That doesn't include you. So, no matter if you're going to join your husband or not, you can join a combat or non-combat group according to your ability."

Join a combat or non-combat group? Nanda's eyebrows shot up hearing him. "Sister recruited me?"

"No," Ifa immediately denied. "As per the agreement, the two of you won't be taking any food rations, so of course I can't recruit. I will only take those who work for food. That includes children too. So, if it doesn't work, it won't get food."

Nanda's confused. "So why ask me which group to choose?"

"Of course to prepare the place," Ifa frowned. "You can wander as you please, but you can't bother others who are at work. I'm here to tell you a few things earlier about this group. So, at least, you roughly know the situation in this cluster and don't act recklessly. Oh, true. You really want to choose a combat group?"

".... ," does his existence really bother others to work? Really, Nanda chose not to question it. He really knew what this woman was going to answer. "I can take care of myself Brother, no need to worry."

Ifa nodded. No more arguing to question his choices. After saying what she wanted to say, the logistic woman left, leaving Nanda who ran straight into the hummer. Ganesha who was lying down lazily on the chair, turned his head. Look at his wife who looks excited.

"Darling, do you think we should be close to Ifa? We can eat fresh food every day!" nanda's eyes glowed, her face radiant. He had already heard about the ability of the Ifa space. That ability is very unique. You can make all the food fresh. Whether vegetables, meat or anything that has rotted and is not worth eating, will be a material that is suitable for eating and guaranteed freshness.

Oh, absolutely ... truly a very amazing ability!

"I can copy it," Ganesha suggested the easiest way, but beyond expectations, Nanda shook her head. "Why?"

"NesNes hasn't leveled up yet, has he?"

Ganesha could not deny. He has not leveled up. In order to copy other abilities, since this zombie has yet to level up, it must give up one ability to disappear. Nanda did not want her husband to lose one ability just to maintain an ability that could not be brought to protect himself like this. After all, Ganesha was a zombie, all the food that went into his mouth just tasted bland.

Obviously this ability is only to make Nanda feel satisfied without involving her husband. Really, Nanda doesn't want that. He wants to enjoy it both, not alone.

"Well .. we should both level up," Nanda grinned, not blaming this zombie figure for not leveling up yet. Oh, the higher the level, the harder it will be to go up. Nanda understood that because he himself also felt it, That's why he didn't feel angry or rushed at all. Let them step by step become stronger, then let them be alone enough, supporting each other and enjoying the slow and fast flowing time.
