You're In My Grips

You're In My Grips
Chapter 5 - The Arrival of Alan Erick's cousin

Dara began to do her duty and was forced to stay at the luxurious mansion, never imagined by her living in the magnificent palace. Only then did she understand why Diana's grandmother always commented on her hut which had been a shelter.

"Well, it's fitting that Diana's grandmother said that and it turns out that she's a rich man. But what surprised me even more was that Erick was his eldest grandson, why didn't I know that he was the son of a rich man beyond my shadow." Monologue Dara, she chuckles when she was in a relationship in high school.

Dara put her body in a soft mattress sized jumbo, guest room occupied according to the wishes of the owner of the mansion. Staring at the ceiling of the room is very comfortable, thinking about the memories used to make it drift lulled.

"Eh, why do I think about it, shouldn't it be this way." Dara is aware of the shadow of the past that is impossible to be re-knit.

The sound of knocking on the door blew everything away, Dara immediately shuffled from the bed and walked to the origin of the sound to open the door. It appeared that a middle-aged woman was looking at him coldly, spontaneously giving her best smile.

"Mrs asked you to meet her."

"All right."

Dara followed the middle-aged woman while looking at the decorations and luxury items arranged very neatly. Stopping his steps when he got to his destination, he saw the old woman sipping sugar-free tea.

Dara saw the departure of the maid and set her sights on Diana's grandmother. "Grandma needs something?"

"Hem. Sit next to me!" he said softly but left no impression of command. Dara nodded obediently and sat down next to Diana's grandmother, trying to get in on the chat that was about to start.

"I just want to show you my family album." Grandma Diana grabbed the album in front of her and opened it one by one remembering her memories as well, there was sadness that was shown by her. How not? She had two children and a husband who loved her very much, the beginning of a happy life was also harmonious but after the death of her husband all changed.

Dara noticed and began to understand. "Happy family." Smiling at the picture of the grandmother's family is very complete, very different from him who does not know who the biological parents are. But certainly he will not look for the whereabouts of his parents after he was entrusted in the orphanage when he was five years old.

"Yes, they are my family. Everyone lives in this mansion, the memories here are precious. Everything changed after my husband's death, my two children decided to move to another country and my grandson left me." Revealing Diana's grandmother who missed her children and grandchildren so much, in her old age she was eager to get together with family. But what power, when his children and grandchildren are busy with their respective affairs and begin to forget it, only Erick is accompanying him and that is their limited time. His eldest grandson spends more time at the office.

Dara felt touched by the little desire of the grandmother, rubbing shoulders slowly to reduce the burden a little. "That time is coming soon, trust me, Grandma."

"I wish it was like that. What about your family?"

Lama Dara was silent lowered his head, sadness on his face as the question struck him. "I don't know who my parents were, since I was five years old, already in the orphanage."

"It's too bad for your fate."

"Grandmother needn't look at me with sadness, it's my destiny path so. It was hard at first, but gradually I got used to it without them."

"I forgot to ask your name."

"Bara. That's my name."

"Become? I think I've heard that name, if it's not wrong Erick ever told me about it." Diana's grandmother tried to remember her.

Dara smiled awkwardly, she did not know it turns out Erick told about himself to Diana's grandmother. Luckily the grandmother did not remember too clearly, or she would be even more awkward. "May I take a closer look at the album, Grandma?"

"Of course I can." Diana's grandmother handed over the album, while Dara was excited to see each family member one by one.

Dara accompanied the grandmother throughout the day, taking care of her and looking after her earnestly. Until he slept in Diana's grandmother's room, both hands were folded into head pads while the position sat on the side of the bed.

"Did you guys see the grandma and the girl?" erick asked the waiter who accidentally passed by.

"The lady's in her room, sir."

"And the girl?"

"So she was with Lady Diana, but after that I don't know."

"Hem, okay. Back to work!"

"Ready Mr."

Both legs immediately stepped up several steps, anxiety made him immediately open the door without knocking it first. Seeing the scene slowed down his footsteps, walked over and quietly smiled looking at such an atmosphere.

"It turns out he's keeping grandma very well." She carried Dara's body sitting below and placed it next to her grandmother. "You look so exhausted, your face looks innocent when you fall asleep." Erick watched the pure white beautiful face closely.

"So many of my plans were together, but you ruined everything.

The atmosphere was calm and silent, which sounded a smooth snoring. But it broke because his phone rang, seeing who was bothering him who was none other than his own cousin's brother named Alan. Not wanting to interrupt, he decided to leave the room and answer his phone call.

"Why do you always bother me?" pissed Erick.

"What am I doing?" answer someone across there.

"Forget it, why did you call me?"

"Fet me."

"Pick up? You kidding?"

"Ck, there's a time I'm kidding. Tell your men to pick me up, hurry up a little bit 'cause it's so hot in here."

Erick sighed, facing his cousin's sister that one always troubled him.

"You wait there."

"Yes, I did five minutes ago."

A man immediately turned off his phone unilaterally regardless of the swearing across it, fanning his reddened face for not liking the hot weather that only made his white skin flushed, looks exactly the same as boiled shrimp.

"Am I really Adelmo's descendant? Why does Grandma always make me difficult. May the chatty and ungodly old grandmother soon suckle grandfather in the afterlife, then the freedom I receive." Alan said smilingly thinking of his shadow, hoping that his grandmother would die.

Fifteen minutes into the airport, there were no signs of an invitation.

"Erick works very fast but very slow when it comes to dealing with me." Alan let out a breath of air, already impatient to go home immediately and disturb his grandmother and also his older cousin. "When I can't wait to surprise my grandmother, who knows she'll hang." Hewn as he chuckled, a ridiculous thought had already become his identity.
