You're In My Grips

You're In My Grips
Chapter 1 - Fuck

Tak…

The sound that comes from the pile of files that must be done on that day without thinking if the sun is almost sinking, Dara looked up at the source of the voice and also looked at the perpetrator who was none other than his senior. Still in shock after seeing the pile of files he had been working on, not knowing what his mistake was this time.

"Don't look at me like that." Ketus a woman who was arrogant because of her position one level above Dara.

"Why did you bring this file back?" ask Dara who is still curious.

"You still ask why? Fix all your files." The woman's words that immediately grumbled left Dara who sighed controlling emotions.

"Huff..patience.patience, this is how junior fate." Lirih Dara while reaching one by one the files to be completed.

One by one the employees in the office left their workplace, one of them approached Dara and looked at her sympathetically.

"It looks like you have to overtime again" said Tita who stopped for a moment at her friend's desk.

Dara again sighed remembering today. "How else do you want?" he said while shrugging both shoulders a sign of surrender of his fate to become a junior in the company.

"Patient Dara, Mrs Raras is famous for being assertive."

"Yes." Yeah."

"Yes, I'm going home first. Remember that! Don't come home late." Said Tita who shuddered in horror imagining the atmosphere of the office at night is very horror. While Dara just nodded and did not heed the expression shown by her friend.

Dara stared at Tita's back further away, refocused on the files and learned every mistake.

"Hopefully this is resolved today." Dara sighed while leaning her back on the work chair, resting the body for a while and returning to work.

The hour hand continued to move, the sun set and left a dark atmosphere of a gripping night. Dara struggled on the computer screen, fingers fingers fingers fingers cleverly appreciate his work. Drowsiness attacked him again until yawned several times, the remaining work made him unable to finish.

"I'd better make coffee." Monologue Dara who immediately went from his chair to the pantry room.

Every foot stepped and as far as the eye could see no one was there, the atmosphere of the night was so quiet that it looked horror. Dara did not care about the surrounding, continued to walk towards the pantry room to make coffee accompany him overtime work.

The sound of a spoon spinning inside a cup becomes a chant while accompanying Dara, a 24-year-old girl who is very lucky to be able to work in a reputable holding company. Many want to work but only a little received, luck for an orphan girl starting the beginning of her career as well as a place to scavenge for rice needs of life. He recalled how his struggle in living for himself, living in an orphanage made him an independent personality and also tough in the face of the rigors of life.

When Dara turned around, she accidentally hit a field chest until accidentally the coffee that had just been in the brew was spilled on the man. Both pupils dilated and immediately put down a cup of coffee, immediately cleaning the suit of a man who was accidentally hit by him.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it." Dara felt guilty and immediately cleaned up the rest of the coffee spill in the man's suit.

The man simply fell silent without giving out an expression, a flat face staring at the anxiety of a girl accidentally spilling coffee on the luxurious suit he had just bought a few days ago.

"I-I'll clean your suit." Dara hoped that the man would forgive her, so the anxiety that struck made her very afraid.

"No need." The man replied coldly and brushed off the clenched hand before him.

"That voice seems to know him. Hah, it might just be similar." Dara was still thinking positively while daring herself to look at the man who was the victim.

The two are in contact with each other's eyes and there is a sense of surprise in them, two people who returned to meet after so many years did not meet. There were awkward feelings and various mixed feelings, but Dara immediately regained her senses by turning her eyes away.

"God, why is he here?" Dara felt the world was so small, she bit her index finger and hid the face of anxiety.

The man was also as surprised as Dara, a girl who had been in love in high school. But he immediately returned the look of his face as if he did not remember the past.

"I'll wash the suit." Chirps Dara without looking at the face of the man who was the victim.

"I just bought this suit, coffee stains don't go away easily."

"I'll try to remove the stain."

"No. I want you to replace it." Said the man who was straight to the point.

Dara gaped in disbelief at the haughty and arrogant nature of her former lover, even though she knew the man who was always sweet and romantic when they were in a relationship.

"Without him?"

"Hem. I just bought it a few days ago, even your salary for a few years won't be able to replace it."

"Heh, can't be trusted."

"You have to replace it or you're fired from the company."

"Are you the one who dared to threaten me?" challenge Dara was inexhaustible when their meeting even made him very lost.

The man pulled out a business card that made Dara speechless even the two eyeballs almost slipped out of place. He saw the name Erick Adelmo, a CEO at the company he worked for.

"Oh my God, he's the CEO of this company? Why don't I know this." Inner Dara who swallowed hard saliva as if stuck in his throat, seeing the position of the ex-lover who is his superior. From an indifferent attitude even wreaks havoc that can destroy a new career in the wake.

"You're still the same as you used to be, still indifferent to your surroundings." Erick said with a slanted smile.

Dara retreated as Erick walked up to her, until her body was clamped to the wall making the two very close. He again swallowed the saliva when both his burly hands were on his left and right sides, there was no way out to escape and could only surrender.

"Why did you leave me?" Erick stared intently at the woman from the past who had once incised a wound in his heart.

"It's been a long time, so forget it." Luna replied softly who lowered her face.

"You're gonna have to change this suit or I'm gonna throw you in jail." Threaten Erick while releasing his prey and turn away from the place.

Dara again swallowed the saliva and rubbed his chest, he did not expect that Erick was the CEO of his company. "Out of my history, I must be the moons." His mind felt very unlucky.
