You're In My Grips

You're In My Grips
Chapter 2 - Helping a senile old woman

Next day..

Dara was getting ready to leave for the office, for quite a while she looked towards the mirror looking at the reflection of her lackluster face. Her dream of working in a big company even became the beginning of difficulties after knowing who the CEO who was her former lover, a relationship that was forced to end for a reason.

The small bag of hand grips is grabbed by him, discarding negative thoughts and returning to work. Relationships in the past will not affect the beginning of his career, no matter how difficult the obstacles.

"May my day be bright and not meet the man." The determination possessed by Dara became his encouragement to release a negative aura.

Arriving at the office, Dara felt a hand on her shoulder. He immediately turned his head and looked at the perpetrator who was none other than his friend, Tita.

"Morning." Sapa Tita smiled sweetly.

"Morning."

"How was last night? Did you meet the ghost waiter at the office?" tanya Tita half whispered.

"Yes, it could be said that way and it was even very spooky." Sahut Dara nodded her head while thinking about her meeting with Erick.

"really?" Tita is very enthusiastic when discussing mystical things, but actually she is a coward.

"Yes. Never mind, I don't want to talk about it right now."

"Ck, you're not cool." Tita said a little disappointed because her curiosity was not treated.

Dara smiled triumphantly as she looked at the expression shown by Tita, dragging the girl's hand and carrying her towards their desk.

At least today he was lucky because he did not get an extra job that made him overtime, he was finally able to relax after doing work.

"I'm finally done with my job." Dara imagined going to the orphanage, where she grew up there.

It's time to go home, Dara packed the messy stuff at the desk, very excited to finally be able to visit her mother and sisters in the orphanage.

"I miss you so much, I haven't been there in a long time." Monologue with full expectations.

A man came in a hurry to approach Dara. "Wait a minute!"

Dara stopped her footsteps staring at the man in black, frowning not knowing what business she had.

"What's the matter, Mr Noval?" Ask Dara politely.

"Mr Erick wants to see you." Answer the man who became the assistant CEO.

"Eh, why would he want to see me? Is this the suit problem?" dara's inner self, who doesn't know what's on her ex-boyfriend's mind, looks at the man in front of her who he knows as the CEO's assistant. "All right."

Along the way Dara just fell silent while thinking about the chaos of what Erick, his former lover and boss in the company where he worked.

"Go inside, Mr. Erick is waiting for you."

Dara nodded her head, took a deep breath and took it out slowly while opening the door. Footsteps accompanied by several prayers hope he will not be fired just for trivial mistakes.

He looked at a man who was struggling on a computer screen, fingers so fast when applying his work.

Erick paused his work for a moment, taking a quick glance at a girl who had once hurt him. Engraved a thin smile invisible to anyone on his face, I don't know what plan appeared in his brain.

"What did you call me?" ask Dara curiously.

"You're fired." Erick's bright looks relaxed but inversely proportional to Dara who was very surprised.

"Backed just because of last night's problems? The suit stain can be gone." Said Dara who pitched unacceptable and felt oppressed, a new career in the wake of a few months finally foundered.

"But I don't want to wear something you've tainted."

Dara rubbed her face in disbelief that Erick was avenging because he had left the man for no apparent reason. He nodded his head approving the words of dismissal with his chest even though in his heart still terbesit the intersection of the harsh words stuck there.

"Looks like you haven't moved on from the past. As you said," Dara was about to step away but was held back by a hand. "What's wrong?" he asked a little sniffly while throwing an annoyed look.

"Let me take you to the door."

"Basic childish," softly Dara cynical and resigned herself directly in drag out of the room.

Erick smiled happily at the ex-lover's pretty face, since last night's meeting brought him back to thinking.

"We don't have any more business, don't ever show your face."

"Ck, if I knew you were CEO of this company, I wouldn't want to work here either." Regret looms after hearing the sharp words of the ex-lover.

"People who are guilty will show such an expression." Erick pointed at Dara's face and re-inserted his hand in the side pocket of her pants, smiling with a grin remembering her heart that was once hurt by the girl.

Dara ignored Erick's words and left the company, her dream run aground at that moment. He decided to go and go with some of his belongings, lucky that the employees had gone home and did not make the incident so embarrassing.

"Fuck man, can only bully lowly people like me." Dara screamed as she turned her head upwards looking at the sky which once again made her feel unfair.

Dara had just worked in a big company but he was even unlucky, now he did not know the next step. But one thing is for sure, there is no word to give up in his life.

"Heh, who does he think he is? I can apply for a job at another company." Dara again evaporated her emotions and said so confident even though her heart still remained doubtful there.

The day was getting night, Dara did not intend to go home but sat in a park and enjoyed the atmosphere. But his gaze was fixed on an old woman who needed help, he immediately ran to help and forgot for a moment personal problems.

"Grandma's okay?" tanya Dara brought the old woman to sit on the chair.

"What am I really doing?" ask the old woman who tried to remember her.

"Grandma almost fainted and I brought Grandma here."

"really? God, I always forget something." The old woman patted his forehead slowly, the age was not young anymore and senile disease always approached him.

Dara stared at the old woman intensely, thinking how to help her. "Hem, what's Grandma's name and where does Grandma live? I'll drive you home." He intends to help.

"My name is Diana, but I forgot my address."

"How do I help him? It was getting late and it wasn't good for her condition now." Pity slipped in Dara's heart who sobbed fighting with his mind, how could he bear to leave the old woman alone there. "Let's just say, how about Grandma come to my house for a while?"

The old woman nodded her head approving of the young girl's opinion, she had no purpose and chose to go along with Dara. While elsewhere things seem chaotic because of his loss, make a scene and immediately act hoping to find him.

"All of you are not so smart, search now until you can." Tell a man to yell at his subordinates who are negligent about their work.
