You're In My Grips

You're In My Grips
Chapter 4 - Job offer

Dara was forced to stay in prison, the accusation as a kidnapper did not make sense to him. Thinking why Grandma Diana had even told a lie, what harm was she? Slightly traumatized and unlucky simultaneously with his meeting with his ex-lover.

"I've always been unlucky, why is the world so cramped? Why do I have to meet Erick so many people on this earth." Racau Dara who hugged his own body, the cold burst into the pores and felt until it pierced the bones.

"Ck, why is he so excited." Umpat upset when the eyes immediately turned to a man who threw him into prison.

One of the policemen opened the cell door occupied by Dara. "You're free." Her speech.

"really?" Dara seemed to be in disbelief, glancing at Erick next to the police who were staring at him flatly.

"true."

Dara immediately came out, the coldness of the prison cell made her very stale. "Why am I suddenly kicked out? This isn't your game, is it." He stared at Erick.

"Grandma says you're innocent."

"Eh."

"I forgot, actually my grandmother has problems with senile diseases that often arise." Clearly Erick lightly and forgot his actions.

Dara purposely blocked Erick's path and looked at him in anger. "It's easy for you to say, do you think sleeping last night in a jail cell was good? It's cold." His weakness raised the voice by an octave.

"Let's just say you're in a snowy country, isn't that your dream." Ejek Erick smiled obliquely.

"You." Dara pointed at Erick's face fearlessly, she was not a foolish woman who did not understand the ulterior intent and intent. "Just tell me you did this on purpose."

Erick deliberately stared at the expensive watch that was coiling in his hand. "I don't have time to take care of insignificant people like you." Proud speech.

A puff of smoke filled Dara's head that held back the turmoil of anger and resentment, the man who had once stopped in her heart was now such an annoying man.

"Take it and forget it."

"You're a man with no heart."

Erick immediately turned to look at Dara, there was anger painted there. "You are the one who broke my heart."

Deg

Dara swallowed the hard-earned saliva, staring at the man intensely. Proximity is not very distant makes it awkward because so long do not meet and they become strangers in the future.

"Grandma wants to see you."

"But I don't want to see anyone." Dara gawked away but her steps were immediately restrained as the burly hand got in the way.

"You may forget my principles, let me remind you once again that I cannot listen to the sentence of rejection."

"Don't bother me anymore." Pinta Dara put her hands together pleading.

"You come with me or I drag you by force."

Two choices are actually the same, back and forth Dara still feels at a disadvantage. "Ck, do I have any other choice?" paschal.

The thin smile on the man's face was not even noticed by Dara, leading him into the car to the Adelmo family residence.

The atmosphere of the mansion that looks like a palace and is even more luxurious and looks very unique, several times Dara stared at the building in amazement. It turned out that Erick silently noticed that expression and grinned.

"I'm pretty sure you'll regret ever leaving me first."

"It just ruins my mood." Dara's mind stared resentfully at her side. "Haha.I'm not interested in your wealth." The answer.

It was seen an old woman sitting on the sofa smiling towards them, coming over and hugging Dara tightly.

"I'm sorry, grandma didn't recognize you yesterday. Understandably, old diseases are often senile."

"Hem, I can tell him."

"As an apology, grandma wants you to work here."

Suddenly it surprised two people, especially Dara who was offered a job. "worked? But I-I."

"I'll pay you three times and the job will only accompany me. Oh yeah, grandma wants to introduce you to the eldest grandchild, he's Erick Adelmo." Grandma Diana was excited.

"And Erick, this girl helped me yesterday."

"But Nek, giving a job to a new stranger is not the right solution." Erick doesn't believe the girl.

"I ate sour salt first, you were the kid yesterday afternoon."

Dara holding back her laughter made Erick a little irritated. "It wasn't yesterday afternoon but it was a tuyul's son." He said in his heart.

"But Grandma." Erick did not have time to explain, first the wrinkled hands were raised into the air as a sign of not wanting to listen to his explanation.

"I don't need your permission, it's my husband's mansion and you're all just hitchhiking."

Jlebb

The monohok words again escaped, as if Erick had no face to face with his grandmother. He decided to leave that place before common sense overcame everything, keeping sanity is essential for now.

"Don't listen to him, here I am in charge. Hows it? Want to accept my offer?"

Dara long thought, whether she should take the offer or not. On the other hand, he has no job but on the other hand does not want to deal with the ex-lover who only complicates it.

"Don't say no. You see for yourself how big and wide this place is, but I feel so lonely." Grandma Diana showed a hearty look, hoping that the young girl would accept her offer.

"How's this? If I accept this job, then I'm always met with that haughty guy. But, the salary offered is quite tempting. Thought Dara who also felt sorry to see the condition of Diana's grandmother. "Alright, I accepted the offer."

"Thank you, I don't know why I feel comfortable being around me is like it reminds me of someone." Reply to the enthusiastic grandmother.

In the office, Erick still imagines an offer from his grandmother and hopes that the former rejects it.

"She can't accept Grandma's offer, seeing her face will only remind me of the pain in my heart."

There was the sound of a cell phone ringing that broke his daydream, staring at the phone that was on the desk and seeing who was contacting him.

"Hello."

"Yes, hello. What's the matter calling me?"

"I just called you but you've been talking ketus."

"What do I want to talk about? I don't have much time to listen to all your babbling." Ketus Erick is patient.

"Sister, I need money. You know for yourself how grandma, she blocked all my cards and left me stranded in this country." Said a gentleman who sounded heartfelt, hoping to get help.

"It's your fault that you're always having fun."

"Don't judge me that way, you're the same, always busy at work."

"Ck, if you need my help you speak sweetly by calling me 'Sister'."

"Huh, don't be dramatic because this isn't the first time I've been so. Hurry up, send me the money."

"It's really bothering me." Erick immediately hung up his phone unilaterally and transferred a sum of money that was not small in total.
