Yashinta (My brother-in-law My love)

Yashinta (My brother-in-law My love)
Perturbed

The atmosphere of the night that should be quiet and peaceful is not felt by Kafka when he is in a noisy place and full of colorful light. It would be quite blinding to the eyes and dizzying to the head if he had only been there for the first time, but Kafka was not quite used to adjusting to being there.

But this is not the first time for Kafka. This is the fourth time since he broke up with Yashinta. Though he had not been there long enough even often refused Hafi's invitation when the man invited him.

But lately, Kafka has nowhere to distract him other than the place.

Kafka doesn't understand his own feelings. Though he made Yashinta leave, but the impact of his relationship with the girl who ran aground was enough to hurt Kafka's entire life.

Hafi who sat beside the man only watched Kafka with a concerned look. Actually he was a little surprised when Kafka first told him that the man wanted to go to the club.

The last time he dropped Yashinta on the street, Kafka told him he would never go to a nightclub again. But now, that sentence was just nonsense.

It seemed like Kafka's feelings were completely shattered after Yashinta relinquished her control on the man. Often Kafka checks the phone with a face full of expectant spam chat from Yashinta as usual, or a phone call that never stops before Kafka answers it.

In the past, Kafka was always angry when the girl did this to him. But now, the man always seemed as if he was waiting for that to happen.

"What's Kafka doing here every time?" Aris made a sound when he was tired of seeing Kafka just silent for some time since they were there.

"You, you don't know the same about children." Hafi shook his head, giving up on noticing the man.

"Non't you come here?" hafi asked later, Aris shrugged her shoulders. "When he moves, anyway if he's in the house where he can come here."

"Still mommy's son, huh?" Hafi laughs softly, Aris laughs. "Biasalah, the child of mere puppets. Must be educated as best as possible for the company." said Aris who made Hafi nod his head.

"Kalo loe has not been able to move on from Yashinta, pepet si Sean. Deketin' his brother's new adek." Hafi meant his words to Kafka. Kafka who faintly heard Hafi mention Yashinta's name only turned his head for a moment but did not respond.

"Where, even Kafka will be slapped by Sean. I told you not to hurt Yashinta, ehh even cheating." circus Aris, Kafka just indifferent, the noise of music that echoed also did dampen the sound of his two friends to get into the sense of hearing.

"Breaked Kafka the same as Sean?" asked Hafi, a little surprised.

"Almost." Aris said, followed by her laughter.

Hafi shook his head, while the conversation material was still cool with his own world.

Yashinta spent her school days as usual, meeting many other students, from her class to her extracurricular friends from the lower classes.

Today Ranti did not go to school, she said her father was sick. So Yashinta decided to visit her father after school. He had already contacted his piano tutor and permission if he would not enter.

But unfortunately, Yashinta who that day did not bring a car because Gibran would be picked up after piano lessons had to grumble a little when there was no taxi. His personal driver was having trouble on the road and was likely to arrive very late.

And the clearest incident was when Kafka offered her a ride. Yashinta wanted to refuse, but he felt that it would be a waste of time if he just kept waiting.

So in the end, for the first time for the girl to sit in Kafka's car right next to the man after they broke up. Silence continued throughout the journey. Yashinta has no chatter material and it seems Kafka is so, so only silence is a travel companion.

Kafka turned to the girl when the car he was driving stopped at a red light. Honestly Kafka felt very uncomfortable with the situation that occurred in his car.

Seeing the girl just being quiet and seeming to avoid him made Kafka feel strange. Because in the past, the girl had never been quiet when she was with him. When with Kafka, Yashinta often acted and made Kafka sore eyes also hurt ears, but now suddenly he misses the atmosphere.

He misses the noisy sound of Yashinta telling a lot about things that Kafka considers unimportant.

"Kafka, we stop by the cake shop first, well." asked the girl as the car slowly drove back, Kafka just nodded his head, saying, Yashinta also turned to the man but then refocused her gaze forward.

Just like Kafka, Yashinta felt strange about the current situation of the brand. It feels awkward and uncomfortable.

When he arrived at the cake shop, Yashinta began to choose a cake to carry as a hand when visiting Ranti's father. Kafka tailed behind the girl.

At first glance, the two men looked like a teenage couple in general, especially when occasionally Yashinta seemed to ask Kafka's opinion about the cake he appointed.

"Yashinta," the girl turned her head as a familiar-sounding voice called out her name. Honestly Yashinta was nervous and a little surprised, either nervous because now he is Gibran's girlfriend, or nervous because he with Kafka had broken up but at this time they are together and met Mother.

"Euu, here, Mother. Yas again chose a cake to make ayan jenguk temen Yas who was sick." said the girl when Kafka just stayed in her place.

"If Mother?" the girl asked back.

"Same. Mother also bought a cake for Mother who is sick."

"You haven't played home in a long time, where have you been, honey? Busy, huh?" mother's pleasantries that make Yashinta get the conclusion if Mother does not know that she and Kafka have broken up.

Yashinta turned to Kafka for a moment before answering Mother's question. "Euu. yes, Bun. Busy, little." he replied, Mother smiled, her hands outstretched, wiping the top of the girl's head.

"Beautiful child, Mother misses once. Occasionally play at home, well." said Mother.

"If it's not busy." continued, this time Mother rubbed Yashinta's arm with a longing affectionate gaze. There was nothing Yashinta could say, all he did was nod his head with a smile.

"Mother bring your own car?" Kafka asked to divert the mood. Given how she is with Yashinta, Kafka is sensitive enough if the girl is uncomfortable with Mother who thinks that the two are still dating.

"Yes, you bring your own car." Kafka just nodded his head.

"What house do you go to?" ask Mother later. Kafka did not immediately reply, making the look of Mother's face seemed to change.

"Go home, yeah. Mother does not like you to go back to the apartment. Yesterday said Pak Ayus you are not in the apartment. Where are you nginep?" at length Mother who this time looks worried.

Ayus was one of Gibran's employees and honestly Kafka was upset that the man had to be next door to him.

Yashinta looked at the silent man then looked at Mother when Mother touched her hand. "Today Kafka rarely returns home. You told him to go home, yeah." persuaded Mother. Yashinta was only able to nod his head in doubt.

Mother smiled, looking to check the watch on her wrist. "Mother first, well." said Mother later, rubbing one side of Yashinta's face, then rubbed Kafka's arm.

"Mother be careful." the two men said simultaneously, staring at Mother's departure until the middle-aged woman disappeared at the exit.

After there were only the two of them there, Yashinta just silently stared, Kafka who saw it was sober. "We'll take this cake."

***

Kafka and Yashinta continue on their way to Ranti's house. Since leaving the cake shop, no one has spoken between the two. Just like a moment ago where the two people were just sitting in the car. Moreover, the meeting with Mommy earlier made Yashinta feel bad. As if something was in his heart.

Especially considering the fact that Mother thinks that she is still dating Kafka.

Kafka, who noticed this, turned to the girl. "Loe don't have to think too much about what Mother says." he said. Makes Yashinta look at him.

"Kafka hasn't told Mommy that we've broken up?" ask the girl, who was asked just shut up and focus on the wheel. It seemed that the man was composing the right diction to talk.

"There's no time" the man said briefly after a while.

"Mother often nanyain loe. I don't dare say we broke up yet." continued Kafka. Yashinta was silent for a while, the girl knew very well how Kafka loved Mother very much. Maybe Kafka does not want to make Mother disappointed if she knows their relationship is over.

But continuing to lie to Mother is also not a good thing, so Yashinta lifted the biacar. "When are you, Kafka?" Kafka. Looking at the look on the girl's face, Kafka can conclude that Yashinta objected if he had to continue pretending to be her boyfriend.

"It does not feel good if you make Mother continue to hope the same relationship we already do not exist. It's the same as lying to Mother." Yashinta. Kafka understood, then without feeling the car he was driving had arrived at Ranti's house.

When Kafka had parked his car perfectly, he turned to Yashinta. "Love me time, soon I'll tell Mommy."
