Wife Guarantee

Wife Guarantee
Episode 7's

"How are you, Nirma?" Rafa opened the conversation.

Nirmala nodded. "I'm ba .. ik." Nirmala had difficulty finishing her sentence because her throat was blocked as a result of holding back tears.

Rafan stood up, his tear dam was also about to collapse. He approached the sofa in front of him and sat there. He grabbed Nirmala by the shoulder and took her ex-wife into the arms.

"I'm sorry."

From a few months ago, it was just an apology that Rafan was able to say. He had made Nirmala suffer only because of her debt. But what he can do, 50 billion dollars he has used, which he might be able to return quickly.

Nirmala hugged Rafan very tightly. "I'm fine here. Vano treated me well. But my heart is not okay. I really can't live without you. Hisk."

Nirmala cried a mouthful in the arms of the man she loved. Finally, he was able to hug back the body of the man he once had.

"I promise you, soon I'll pay off my debt. We'll be together again, I promise." Rafan kissed Nirmala's head with great emotion.

Nirmala nods, although ill, but believes Rafan will take her home and live happily ever after. "Don't let me down, Raf," said Nirmala.

Rafa nodded. "Yes." Yeah."

While in the room filled with neatly arranged beams on the shelves, Vano let out a heavy sigh. From the computer screen he could see and listen to what was happening in the living room. With his index finger he pressed one of the buttons and the computer screen immediately blackened.

Vano leaned his back against the chair, looked up and stared at the ceiling. There was only himself in that workspace. His eyes glared far away, like there was a heavy weight he saw there. With a single movement he stood up, at the same time he swept his hands over the workbench until the books and vases fell to the floor.

"Akh!" That shout was like a way to dispose of all the trouble he had thought of.

A few minutes passed, Vano casually descended the stairs. Halfway through, he saw Nirmala coming to climb the stairs.

"Where's rafan?" asked Vano in a tone as usual.

"Home home," answered Nirmala then passed Vano who was still stopping in the middle of the stairs.

Vano was silent for a moment, then continued his steps. He plans to go to the back of the house to go to Farhan's residence.

* * * *

It was already 10:30 p.m., but Nirmala had not been able to close her eyes for a second. Rafan's face was back in his head. The warm embrace of the man he loved is still felt today. Now he misses the embrace of Rafan who always hugged him.

Sometimes he looked at the tightly closed door. "Where is Vano? Not back this afternoon."

Just inquiring about her husband's whereabouts, the door of the room opened from the outside. Vano entered with his usual expression, flat and cold. In his right hand was a white piece of paper.

"Not slept?" ask Vano.

Vano's gaze was very difficult to interpret. Whether it was a caring gaze, or an indifferent gaze, all of them were difficult to distinguish as Vano indeed never showed any change in expression.

"I can't sleep" answered Nirmala honestly.

Vano walked closer to the bed. He put the paper he was carrying right next to Nirmala. Vano turned around, not looking at Nirmala. "I'm not the separation of two people who love each other. Go, come back to him."

Nirmala was shocked to hear Vano's words. With trembling hands he picked up the paper and began to read it.

I am the undersigned : Govano Ravaldi

First party : Govano Ravaldi.

*The first party has stated that a debt of 50 billion rupiah on behalf of Rafan Gultara has been considered paid off. Therefore, the guarantee that has been given to the first party will be returned.

The first party or the second party promised not to sue the written agreement before the court*.

Nirmala stared at the paper and Vano alternately. "What does all this mean?" ask Nirmala.

Vano turned to Nirmala. "Is the writing on the paper blurry? I have considered Rafan Gultara's debt paid off. You can go back to him, and Rafan won't be short of money anymore and won't make you a guarantee anymore."

"So, you weren't the one who wanted me to be guaranteed all this time?" ask Nirmala who just found out the truth.

Vano raised next to his lip line. "Why do I want someone's wife? Rafan is my friend, I'm just helping. And why would I keep you here if you would cry every day?"

"It turns out Vano is a very good person. I have misjudged it by thinking he wants to take someone else's wife."

Vano. "Tomorrow I'll drive you home."

"Vano." Vano turned around when he heard Nirmala call him. Unexpectedly, he got a sudden hug from Nirmala.

"Thank you, Vano." Nirmala was crying happily.

Vano's hand did not move, just straight down without wanting to return a hug from Nirmala. "Stop like this. Do you want me to change my mind?"

Nirmala's reflex releases Vano's bowing manner. "Sorry."

"Go get some rest." Vano turned around and left the room.

At 01:20 a.m., Vano returned to his room. Judging from his face, it seemed like Vano was extremely exhausted. But of course not physically tired, but tired of the mind. Vano had just finished his office work which he brought home.

Vano's eyes looked towards the bed. There lay Nirmala without a blanket. Step by step he approached the bed and could finally see Nirmala's face clearly.

Although tomorrow he will deliver Nirmala back to Rafan, but until now he has not officially divorced Nirmala. Only the words 'go back to him' indirectly want to drop the talaq.

Vano sat on the side of the bed, looking at the beautiful face of Nirmala who was sleeping peacefully.

"For the first and last time, I want to feel like I have a wife in my arms."

Vano lifted his legs on the bed. He slowly lay down beside Nirmala. His right hand stretched out to hug Nirmala's waist.

There was a very thin smile on the corner of Vano's lips. "Good night." He closed his eyes and began to fall asleep.

The sun began to rise, two people hugging each other, one of them opened his eyes slowly.

Last night Nirmala dreamed of being hugged by Rafan so she slept well. But when he opened his eyes perfectly, it was true that he was being hugged, but not by Rafan, but rather ....

"Vano?"

Nirmala wanted to get up straight away, but she undoed her intentions when she saw Vano's face that looked very peaceful in her morning dream.

The dense and long eyelashes were clearly visible when the man closed his eyes. When sleeping like this, the cold Vano seemed to be going out of the earth, and left Vano who had a handsome and warm face.

"Can I just leave her after she's so meritorious to Rafan?"
