Prologues
I'm introducing myself to you. I'm Nirmala Diantri, a 25-year-old woman. My parents have been dead since I was 15, so I lived together with my brother Braksa Purnama. After graduating from college I was directly edited by Rafan Gultara. But my marriage only lasted for 2 years, and after that I changed hands with Govano Ravaldi. Wh why? The reason is treasure.
A treasure? To hell with treasure! My parents died of treasure. I was divorced for treasure. I became the wife of the young master coldly because of the treasure. All the problems in his life were simply because of treasure.
Trust me, all I need is love. All that makes me happy is love. But can I get that love from young master Vano? I was just a woman who was put on bail for her husband's debt. I'm like a worthless thing, it's pathetic.
Story begins
As his breathing began to settle down from the bed and put his clothes back on, leaving the woman hiding behind a blanket, the woman had already fallen asleep to dreamland. Breathing heavily hoping everything was just a dream, if all this was real, then tonight was the last night he slept with his wife.
He smiled faintly, but his heart was sore. The beautiful face of his wife will no longer decorate his days, he will not be able to comfort his wife or hug the woman he loves. His position will be replaced by his friend, who will soon serve as the husband of his wife.
"Sorry." Only that word was said before he walked to the balcony to calm down.
He let the night breeze greet the skin of his hands and face. As his heart grew stifling, clear water welled up in his eyes. He looked up, staring at the dark night sky without stars. How evil he was, he made his wife as collateral for a debt to his friend. The conversation a week ago recalled him.
"I could have helped you, but your debt is huge, and in one more year you'll have to pay because I'm gonna need that money so badly. I need a guarantee that you'll pay your debts on time."
The atmosphere in the large living room became silent, two men who were sitting opposite each other on the king size sofa were both silent, confused as to what kind of solution.
"Vano, I know you're a friend who cares deeply about me, can't you help me more deeply? Really, I don't have anything to guarantee. The house I now own is not mine, it belongs to my parents."
The man called Vano improved his sitting position. Before speaking he took a heavy breath. His eyes looked into the eyes of the man sitting before him. "I know Rafan, but I can't help any further either. If you want to borrow my money, then you have to give me bail. Something very valuable to you, that you might be eager to pay me a debt."
The two were silent again, they both looked at the warm tea glasses while thinking together. Shortly thereafter, a heavy breath was heard.
"There is only one treasure I have other than the company, and it is precious to me."
"What's that?" ask Vano.
"Nirmala."
Vano straightened his body and straightened his head looking straight at Rafan. "What did you say? Your wife?" Vano could not believe what he had heard. By mentioning the name of his wife, it means that Rafan offers his wife as collateral.
"Are you crazy?"
Rafan's breaking the table. "I'm not crazy! It's just that I need that money to build my bankrupt company. Without money, I would only make Nirmala miserable. I don't want that to happen."
Vano silently did not speak, he knew the intention of his friend was very good, that is not to make his wife miserable and life difficult, but all that can not justify that the wife can be used as collateral.
"I'm sorry, I can't accept that guarantee" Vano said.
Unexpectedly, Rafan walked to Vano's side and rested at his feet. "I beg you, only you can help me. I promise, I will take my wife after my company succeed, I will pay my debt as soon as possible. I'm sure you can guarantee his economy as long as he's with you, I beg you."
"But how can I make it a guarantee? If she lives with me, what do her family and people say about her?" ask Vano.
Rafan has not yet risen from Vano's feet. "You can marry her, if you marry her, she can have a protector."
Rafan got up from Vano's feet and sat down. He quickly pulled out a piece of paper that was available on the table. He quickly wrote something and signed it.
"It is legitimate, this letter of agreement states that Nirmala as a guarantee. I'm gonna transfer the money tomorrow." After that, Rafan stood up because he was leaving.
Vano was flabbergasted by Rafan's actions, but what's okay, his friend needed help and he had to help. 50 Billion is not a little money, making Rafan's wife as collateral is quite worth it even though he thinks he does not need Rafan's wife.
Raffan turned around when his steps were stopped.
"I promise I'll take good care of your wife, and I won't touch her until you take her back."
The promise made by Vano was enough to make him feel relieved and calm, but until this moment he had not spoken to Nirmala, he did not have the courage to say the deal he had made with Vano.
"Would he be happy with Vano? He doesn't know Vano, he hasn't even met, I hope he'll do what I say."
Actually there is a sense of regret and doubt, but everything has been done, the money given by Vano six days ago has been used to cover losses, debts to other companies, he said, debt to the bank and also as company capital.
"Sorry Nirma, I've hurt your heart."
The clear water finally managed to escape from Rafan's eyes.
Something that could not be felt but could be felt greeting his skin, warm and brightly glowing. Slowly, Raffen opened his eyes. Not perfect he opened his eyes, he felt a delicate hand gently caressing his face.
"Good morning, dear."
The soft voice that always managed to bewitch her now greeted her on the morning. He pulled the corner of his lips upwards forming a sweet smile. His right hand reflexively pulled his wife's hip for him to hug.
"Good morning too, dear," replied Rafan.
Nirmala let go of her embrace. "Why are you sleeping on the balcony? Don't you like sleeping in one bed with me?" nirmala said while pouting.
Seeing his wife's cute face, Rafan became anxious, he pinched his wife's cheeks and nose with anxiety and spoiled. "It's not so dear. I fell asleep here, after breathing the night air, I'm going back to the room, but I fell asleep here."
Nirmala did not answer her husband, she was busy looking at Rafan's eyes and face.
"What's this about? Why is your face dull and your eyes puffy?" nirmala asked after she finished looking at Rafan's face.
Rafan touched his own face. "What yes? It seems ordinary. Ah, maybe because of the night breeze," replied Rafan ended with a beautiful smile.
"All right, I believe you. Now take a shower, I'll prepare your work clothes."
Nirmala stood up and went into the room. While Rafan, he watches his wife's back with tears. "I'm sorry, Nirma. I'll tarnish your trust in me."
In the dining room, Nirmala was accompanying her husband to breakfast. Today there is only rice and fried tempeh, their wallets and accounts are very dry.
"Nurma."
"Hm?"
"All the debts I have paid and the company's capital has also been fulfilled," said Rafan who began to be honest.
Nirmala stopped the chew for a moment. "Where can you get that kind of money in such a short time? Isn't 50 billion not small?" ask Nirmala wonder.
"I borrowed money from my friend, he owns the biggest company in town. But unfortunately, one year later, he really needs the money I borrowed. With that he gave me the condition that I could give him bail." Rafan's heart had been beating beyond normal limits, he could not see his wife was surprised and hit.
"What guarantee do we have? The company belongs to my father-in-law, and that's all he's been running amok because the company went bankrupt, and this house, this house isn't ours either." Nirmala was confused, not knowing what was guaranteed by her husband.
"You." Rafan looked down. "I'm making you a guarantee."
"What?" Nirmala dropped the spoon onto the plate.
