As Vano has promised. He will meet the two conditions proposed by Nirmala. The first thing he will fulfill is to meet Raisa to find out the condition of the woman. That morning Vano took Nirmala to the hospital. Vano said that the hospital belonged to his father first.
"Why are we here? Is Raisa in the hospital?" ask Nirmala.
Vano. "Yes." Yeah."
Nirmala stopped her steps in the middle of the hospital corridor. "What's? You tortured him to the hospital?"
Vano. "Not me, but my bodyguard." Vano drew Nirmala's hand to continue.
"Vano, if the hospital finds out that Raisa's been violent, you'll be reported to the police." Nirmala said as she walked following Vano's footsteps.
"You think there'll be brave doctors and nurses? If they are brave, they are ready to suffer the consequences. After all they knew what Raisa was like, so they couldn't possibly defend the woman."
Vano spoke so casually as if he was not afraid of anything and of anyone. And that's true. All he feared was the loss of Nirmala.
They both stopped in front of the room. The room is an isolation room. Nirmala does not think, although Vano takes Raisa to the hospital, but still her husband can torture her.
"Remember, we only see the condition. Don't get close to him. No one knows if he could suddenly wake up and stab you like two weeks ago." Vano gave a warning before opening the door.
Nirmala nodded.
The door opened slowly. Nirmala and Vano enter the room and see Raisa's condition. Nirmala covered her mouth with her palm when she saw the cruel woman's condition.
A pale, thin face, full of whip wounds, and bruises. Nirmala could not imagine how the Vano people tortured Raisa. Just by taking a quick look at it, he knew that Raisa was suffering a lot.
"Vano, you are cruel" said Nirmala, dropping tears.
Vano sighed. If it were not for loving Nirmala, perhaps the woman standing next to her would have learned a lesson for daring to address her cruelly. But now he must be patient and understand his wife. Nirmala's heart was too soft, of course the woman would not have the heart to see Raisa.
"I'm not that cruel. He deserves all this."
"But-"
"It's enough Nirmala, don't test my patience. I'm not as patient as you are. You know if I'm angry? Just shut up."
Hearing Vano's words, Nirmala again realized that her husband is not a warm man like most people. A cold person, even though he loves a woman, his cold attitude will not disappear, that is what happened to Vano. Although often give attention, but sometimes the cold nature will appear.
"All right." Nirmala.
The sound of Vano's breath was heard, before long Nirmala felt Vano holding her from behind. After saying cold and threateningly sharp, now her husband was warm and sweet.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to threaten you. But I have a bad nature. I just don't want to get out of control and hurt you."
Nirmala smiled slightly and nodded. "I know that. I get it."
Vano let go of his embrace and then invited Nirmala to come home.
"But, if Raisa's conscious, are you going to let her stay home?" ask Nirmala.
Vano glanced at the unconscious Raisa. "The doctor said, even if he was conscious, he would be traumatized and severely depressed."
Vano looked back at Nirmala. "I just need to add a little more suffering for him to go crazy. If that's the case, I'll throw him into a mental institution."
Vano clasped Nirmala's hand. "What he did to my mom and dad was worse than this. This is nothing. The medicine that was routinely given to my father had Raisa exchanged for a nerve-damaging drug. Therefore my father's condition got worse and eventually grew."
Nirmala looked into Vano's eyes. Now he could see Vano's eyes looking far away.
"Let's imagine a paralyzed, crazy person. It's really sad, isn't it?"
Nirmala clasped Vano's hand tightly. Now he could imagine how long Vano had been holding the pain in his heart. Both of his parents suffered and eventually died in the most miserable way.
"You're a tough guy. Behind your nature, maybe people think that you do have a bad temper. They don't know there's a scar that makes you look like this."
Vano turned to Nirmala. "Do I have a bad temper?" ask Vano.
Nirmala stutters. If he said 'yes', he felt afraid of offending Vano. If you say no, it is a lie. "Emm, not bad. It's just that you're too cold."
Vano pulled Nirmala's hand out of the room. "It's okay, to be honest. I did realize a little bit that I had a bad temper." Vano closed and locked the door back. "But my wealth and good looks can cover all my vices. Even many women who praise me and want to be with me."
He pulled Nirmala's hand back to walk with him. "Even some of them tempted me to sleep with them. Maybe they think I'm a cold, ruthless young master who's handsome and rich, who has a hobby of sleeping with different women every night."
He glanced a little at Nirmala. His wife seems to be starting to frown.
"Yes but I am still a virgin, not tempted by a single woman. And I didn't expect to be tempted by a beautiful woman."
Nirmala immediately stared intently at Vano.
Vano. "A beautiful woman named Nirmala Diantri."
Instantly those sharp eyes turned weak then bowed in shame. It turned out that Vano was getting good at playing with words.
"But, you're not the first for me, I'm just a second-hand"
"Sillet." Vano placed his index finger on Nirmala's lips. They stopped walking.
"Don't say that again. I don't care if you're still pure or touched by someone else. And, to your ex-husband you're a second-hand, but to me, you've always been the latest and you'll never be a second-hand. There's something you need to remember. I love you not because of your body, but because I love you from heart to heart."
Vano lowered his hand. "Yes although it is undeniable that I also like you because of your very pretty face." After that he laughed.
Nirmala smiled shyly. "You're starting to tease me."
Vano and Nirmala walked back. "Here you go, let's go home" said Vano.
* * * *
"Excuse me, Grand Master, but it's dangerous for a great mistress to leave without an escort."
Farhan and Vano were talking together in Vano's study. They are discussing Nirmala's departure to the orphanage without security and without money and assistance from Vano.
Vano put pen on the table. "Let's just be calm I'm not a fool. I've thought about all this carefully."
Farhan looked at Vano. "Do you have a plan?" ask Farhan. He did know that Vano couldn't possibly be rash.
Vano smiled obliquely. "Of course."
