Allah Akbar...

Allah Akbar...

Allah Akbar...

Laa ilaaha illallaahu wallahu...

Allahu Akbar walillaa...

This morning in Eid al-Adha, the santri perform Ied prayers with solemnity' and a radiant heart. Abi became the imam of the Ied prayer this time, while Zaki became Khatib. The sermon delivered by Zaki is an example that can be quoted from the story of Prophet Ibrahim AS

Assamualaikum Wr. Wb.

Happy Muslim and Muslim brothers.

The expression of gratitude to Allah swt, today we can celebrate Eid al-Adha, also called Eid al-Qurban, Eid Nahr, and Eid al-Akbar. A feast day that emphasizes social spirit and sacrifice.

A great pleasure, we can meet this great and great feast. Shalawat and our greetings flatter the Prophet Muhammad, to his family, his friends and the successors of his treatise who continue to fight for the establishment of Islamic values on this earth until the end of the day.

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar wa lillahil Hamd, Ma’asyiral Muslimin wal Muslimat Rahimakumullah.

One of the stories of Prophet Ibrahim AS listed in the Qur'an relates to the celebration of Eid al-Adha, which became one of the great holidays of Muslims, which is, which falls every 10 Dzulhijjah and is commemorated on that date by slaughtering sacrificial animals until the days of Tasyrik 11, 12 and 13 Dzulhijjah.

Allah's recommended sacrificial worship aims to instill virtue, goodness, noble character, and erode the nature of injustice and corruption. This order of sacrifice is written in Surat al-Kautsar verses 1-3 :

اِنَّآ اَعْطَيْنٰكَ الْكَوْثَرَۗ - ١فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْۗ - ٢اِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْاَبْتَرُ ࣖ - ٣

It means: "Really, We have given you (Muhammad) many favors, so perform the prayer because of your Lord, and sacrifice (as worship and draw near to Allah). Verily, those who hate you are cut off (from the mercy of Allah), (QS. Al-Kautsar 1-3)

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar wa lillahil Hamd, Ma’asyiral Muslimin wal Muslimat Rahimakumullah.

اِنَّ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ كَانَ اُمَّةً قَانِتًا لِّلّٰهِ حَنِيْفًاۗ وَلَمْ يَكُ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَۙ

It means: "Truly, Abraham was a priest (who could be exemplary), obedient to Allah and Hanif. And he is not among the idolaters (who associate with Allah)." (QS. An-Nahl verse 120)

Allah asserts that in Prophet Ibrahim there is an example, because only Prophet Ibrahim AS we always call in prayer, other than Prophet Muhammad SAW. Prayers that we read for Prophet Muhammad SAW when prayer is always equated with prayer to Prophet Ibrahim AS. In Islamic exemplars, it is introduced by the term uswatun hasanah, which is a concept of the morality of a leader in the pattern of interaction with his people.

When his father, Azar, the producer of the statue of God, responded harshly, Prophet Abraham remained well mannered and prayed for the good of his father in Surat Maryam verse 47. The story of Prophet Ibrahim AS also contains valuable lessons for a father to his son that there is always room to argue over every decision as head of the household to his children.

*When his father, Azar, the manufacturer of the statue of God, responded harshly, Prophet Abraham remained polite and prayed for the good of his father in Surat Maryam verse 47.

The story of Prophet Ibrahim AS also contains a valuable lesson for a father to his son that there is always room to argue over every decision as head of household to his children*.

Therefore in this sermon can be taken exemplary that in the story of Prophet Ibrahim AS his life journey found the figure of a prophet, leader, father, husband, and extraordinary son. It has the characteristics of a man who is commendable, namely: the figure of a true leader so that God swt makes him a priest, the leader of the people, and the focus is to continue this legacy for his descendants and the people.

As an example of patience, when faced with challenges, trials and tests, Prophet Ibrahim AS always be calm and wise. When his father opposed his treatise he did not get angry and remained patient. He spoke to his father in a meek manner. When the ruler tried to silence him, he remained steadfast and Istiqomah with the reforms of monotheism he brought despite his life stakes.

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar wa lillahil Hamd

Thus this brief sermon may the obedience of Prophet Ibrahim AS be an improvement of morality for us as a leader both in household and in society and state. Apologize for all the shortcomings and errors in delivering the sermon, insha Allah all the series of our acts of worship are accepted by Allah Almighty
