When Aninda Falls in Love

Episode 41

Aninda was in the Philippines for only one week. He spends time with Liezel, Edgar and Jared's extended family. Happiness was felt by Aninda, even though she felt it was all like a dream.

Two months have passed. Aninda and Edgar never saw each other again. They only communicate through social media occasionally. Both are busy with their jobs and their real lives. Even so, the two could not lie to their hearts, that they missed each other.

"Ed is going to Indonesia next week." Edgar said via video call.

"No need, Ed." Aninda hesitated.

"Why?" Ask Edgar astonished.

"So you think we're enough as friends."

Aninda's words made Edgar speechless, his eyes flashing trembling.

"What do you mean, Aninda?" Edgar asked doubtfully.

"I can't continue our relationship anymore." Aninda replied firmly. However, behind the loud and resolute voice he held a wound in his heart.

"Why? Did Ed make a mistake?" Edgar asked who did not know the cause of Aninda talking like that.

"No. Ed didn't make any mistakes. It's just, why do we keep together, while we already know the end of this relationship."

Aninda's tears finally fell. He can't hold it anymore.

"I'm afraid Ed. I'm afraid the longer our relationship goes, then I'll go crazy. I'm not as strong a woman as people think. I'm not a woman who's very obedient to the rules of my God." Clearly, while sobbing.

Edgar just silently listened to all the contents of Aninda's heart that was being expressed. And actually Edgar had begun to understand what Aninda meant.

Aninda wiped her tears, then she looked at the sad face of Edgar who had never switched from looking at her face.

"I'm sorry Aninda, Ed. Aninda was just afraid of losing the competition of Aninda's heart and mind."

"Ed understand. Don't apologize and don't be afraid. Ed won't hold Aninda if Aninda wants to go." His words are very calm.

"She has nothing to fear anymore. Live the life of Aninda as before Ed was present. Love the right guy. Take care of Aninda's health. And if Aninda's willing, will Aninda still be Edgar's best friend?" Her speech.

Aninda's cry became more. He felt very hurt by his decision, now the wound was sore when Edgar doused it with a soft speech that made Aninda seem to run after Edgar, then hugged him and said, 'Take me away with you Edgar.'

"Don't cry, Aninda. It's not all our fault. There is nothing wrong with our relationship. It's just that fate makes us have to stop and give up. Ed, please. No cry. How could Ed let go of Aninda in such a state of crying."

Edgar said that with tears that also spilled from his eyes.

"I'm sorry Aninda, Ed."

"Yes, Ed forgave Aninda. So, please stop. Dont cry's. I love you so much Aninda. Please, don't cry."

How the tears could stop dripping, as Edgar told how much he loved Aninda.

"I love you Ed. But, I can't go into Ed's life. God is different." Isak Aninda is becoming.

Edgar stared at Aninda very closely through the phone screen. His hand even acted as if he gently patted Aninda's shoulder to calm her down.

'If I had the courage, I would embrace you, take you and make you my wife Aninda. But, I'm just a cowardly man who can only make you cry. Don't ever forgive me Aninda. And just so you know, my heart is as broken as yours.'
