When Aninda Falls in Love

Episode 4

FILIPINAS.

Quezon, march 2014.

A young man was holding his pregnant wife. He called the Sister to help his soon-to-be-born wife.

"Take your wife on the trolley." The sister spoke Filipino.

The 21-year-old Edgar Jared laid his wife on a trolley. Then she helped the nurse push the trolley into the delivery room. Once in front of the delivery room, Edgar stopped and let the Sister take his wife.

"Ed, what's going on?" Edgar's parents ran towards him with worry.

"Ariana will soon give birth to our son, Ma, Pa." Clearly, with worry.

"Everything's gonna be okay." Trying to calm his eldest son.

For almost three hours Edgar and his parents waited outside the delivery room, all they did was pray, so that Ariana could deliver the baby safely.

"Eeakk, eeaakk.." The sound of crying babies is heard by them.

"Ma, Mum. My baby was born..." She was happy and could not wait to see her baby soon.

A few minutes later, Sister brought the baby to Edgar. "Baby girl. She's so cute and pretty. Very much like her mother." Sisters said to Edgar.

Edgar tried to touch her baby's cheek. He didn't expect to be a father at such a young age.

"You want to carry it?" Ask the Sister.

Edgar nodded. He was just amazed by the little baby. Edgar even tried to kiss the cheek of the baby. Sister helping. As soon as Edgar kissed the baby's cheek, he cried.

"Hi, honey. You are Liezel Jared. Papa loves you. Grow up to be a good girl." Said Edgar while holding back his cries.

"Is this baby Liezel's name?" Buwan Jared asked, who was moved to see his first grandchild born.

"Yes Papa. I gave him the name Liezel." Repeat Edgar.

"May I carry it?" Nenita Jared was holding her first grandchild happily.

"A very pretty baby. Grandma will take care of you, baby. Grandma will protect you and will help your mother carry this little baby." Nenita talks to her granddaughter.

Meanwhile, in the delivery room. Doctor and Sister lost Ariana. They only found a piece of paper that seemed intended for Edgar.

"Mr Edgar?" Call the Doctor.

"What's the Doctor? Did something happen to my wife?" He asked worried.

"I'm sorry we. Your wife seems to have left. He left this letter on the bed. It seems to be for you, sir." Obviously the Doctor gave the paper to Edgar.

Nenita and Buwan looked at each other. They still do not understand this situation very well. Edgar ran to find his wife. Unfortunately after running around the hospital, he was unable to find his wife.

"What happened to Ariana? Why did you just leave. Our son was born. I love you so much." He cried bitterly because he could not find his wife anywhere.

*(Ed, I'm sorry. From the moment we met, I never loved you. I'm only interested because you're so kind and so considerate of me. Thank you for being the man in charge. Your kindness makes me feel depressed every day. That's why I'm leaving. Please don't look for me. I want us to get divorced. And take care of the baby for me. Thank you for all your kindness to me. I also apologized to Mom and Dad. I'm sorry Edgar. I can't pretend to love you anymore. Live with happiness. I will also live happily with my chosen man whom I love.)*

Edgar did not understand the meaning of the letter. He still could not focus on all the events he experienced today. Happiness and sorrow come together on the same day. All of that made him tired and unable to survive, so Edgar fell unconscious just like that on the cold hospital floor.

Nenita and Buwan, who were running to chase after their son, finally found their pale, helpless bodies lying unconscious on the hospital floor.

"Dwag..." Shouted Nenita who immediately carried her son's head in her lap.

"No. Why you, darling. Wake up, answer Mama's question." He was very worried about his son.

Buwan grabs a letter in Edgar's hand. His eyes focused on reading the letter. Then, he squeezed the paper firmly in his grasp.

"How dare he deceive us all this time." He was furious at how scheming Ariana had deceived them for almost a year.

"I thought she was a good woman. Apparently she's just a self-didn't know woman. After Edgar gave it his all, this was the reply. I'll never forgive that woman." Rutuk Buwan carried overflowing emotions.

"Pa, call the doctor. Please Edgar, help my son." Nenita's crying broke. She was really worried about her son.

A few minutes later, Edgar was lying limp on the patient's bed. The doctor has already examined it and will give you medication as well.

"Did my son experience anything dangerous?" Ask Buwan curiously.

"Your son is fine. He was exhausted and fainted. Don't worry, he can be taken home today." Said the Doctor.

Buwan and Nenita really brought Edgar home. They decided to take care of Edgar at home. They also brought Liezel home.

Upon arrival at home, they are greeted by Reyna and Efran, Edgar's younger brother.

"Ed what's the matter, Ma?" Reyna asked worried about seeing Ed unconscious.

"Ed just needs a break, baby." The answer.

Buwan takes Edgar's body to the room with Efran's help.

"Ariana, where?" Ask Efran to his papa.

"From now on, we don't have to wait for him anymore. She's gone a long way to leave Ed and the baby." Buwan explained to his eldest son.

"Did Ariana die?" Guess less sure.

"No dear. He went to see another man." It was clear Buwan was enveloping Edgar's body.

"Is she not grateful to have a husband like Ed? Basic women don't know themselves." Gurmurm.

Although Efran is still a teenager, but he already understands the problems that occur in adults like Edgar, his brother.

"I won't allow Ariana to see her baby even if she begs and kneels." Reciprocity. He really hates Ariana who gives wounds to his beloved sister.

"He won't see the baby. He left this newborn baby with us. She's a very bad woman." Reyna came to see Edgar.
