“We why did Kayla school bagin anyway ?” I saw Damar who was eating in this cafeteria, but at home he had breakfast so much, how he could get such perfect body proportions.
“Makan” replied Damar who was more focused on staring at the bowl of boiled noodles compared to my face.
“Mar, so when did you tell us?” Damar was still focusing on his food regardless of me who was getting upset.
“Your call to me is not Mar but Dam, and I will tell you about the good and bitter times you forgot with me and Ghandi after I finished eating” Damar saw me with his eyes narrowed.
I waited for Damar to finish eating, while looking at the scenery around the canteen, usually nothing so special in my opinion, only a little cleaner than the picture of the canteen in general. I decided to have my chin supported look at Damar with an intimidating look in my opinion a powerful way to make Damar faster to finish his food.
“Udah prepare the meal?” ask me to Damar who has been sitting firmly in front of me without any more food bowls.
“So what do you feel when here” Damar always makes me compile other puzzles. I just want him to explain everything straight away without having to ask me things that I don't think really matter.
“I beg you, we go straight to the point, do not stray anywhere, it does not matter how much I feel here and you already know the answer from my face” I said a little solot.
“It turns out your anger that has been locked in is also” said Damar with a small laugh.
I looked at Damar with an annoyed look, because he was laughing at something that even I couldn't remember. I stood up from this canteen chair and rushed over wanting to leave but Damar held my hand with a serious look.
“If you keep me coming home by taxi” I said threateningly.
“This school used to be our school, me, you and Ghandi” Damar saw me seriously.
“So this canteen our memories?” manya curious.
“You have nothing to do with this cafeteria, you have never been a cantina during school, only me and Ghandi are here often, too, so this is your first time sitting at this canteen table with me” Damar explained with a laugh again. I was getting very upset, even I felt the heat from myself.
“I'm home now” I said angrily.
“You who I know turned out to be different well, what span of eight years we did not meet, Ghandi taught you how to get angry” said Damar with a thin smile.
“So what do you want?” my many.
“I like you like this, I like you who have anger, I like you who do not hold back” Damar stroked my head and my irritation on Damar disappeared instantly.
“So you want to start when and where?” my many.
“Now and here” said Damar.
***Flash Back (Damar's Comment)***
All the new students were lining up based on the classes specified and there was one class filled by thirty top-ranked students, one of whom was Damar and Selena. Since childhood Selena and Ghandi never separated, always in class but not for now. Selena who is not easy to make friends becomes frightened when she does not have Ghandi next to her, it makes Selena during the march just lowered her face down. Damar finds out that Selena is his neighbor from childhood, in fact he cares but because Selena has never wanted to talk to him and always runs away when spoken to by him then she undoes her intention to reprimand him.
The welcome for the new students had been over an hour, even Selena who had lowered her head had started to look rocking, and Damar had also noticed. Damar predicts if Selena still continues to stand from the line, about three to five minutes more she will faint, therefore Damar decided to interrupt the reception from the teacher.
“Pak” Damar raised his right hand and all eyes were on Damar.
“Why do you want?” answer the teacher.
“I permission to UKS sir, I already want to faint” said Damar who invited laughter all existing students.
“Where do you want to faint from?, you only I see the establishment, your voice is also powered” replied the teacher.
“Pak, iaa...” Not yet had time to finish her sentence Selena had fainted. As a result of Damar's very unreasonable efforts still make Selena feel the warmth of the school field grass. But Damar swiftly carried Selena and immediately took Selena to the UKS and was accompanied by a teacher and Ghandi who followed them left his line.
“Buk I am here yah buk, actually who wants to faint it's my friend who is buk, he is also my neighbor buk so let me wait here yah buk” said Damar begging. Damar who initially did not want to care about Selena finally decided to care as a fellow human.
“If you're here what do you need?” buk guru pointed towards Ghandi who was already with a panicked face seeing selena lying on the UKS mattress.
“I am also here well buk, we three neighbors from small, we beg buk” said Ghandi who also begged.
Seeing the two male students, the teacher finally allowed them while the UKS nurse examined how Selena was doing.
“You can be here, but don't be noisy” said the teacher who then left them.
“Maybe, oh yes thanks well gendongi gu” Ghandi pat Damar on the shoulder and in reply smile with Damar.
“Ghandi” Selena who was aware and immediately mentioned the name Ghandi.
“Ia I'm here, you've improved” asked Ghandi softly.
“I want to move classes just come with you, later ask for help mama aja” Selena said in a weak voice.
“Lu both when to date anyway, time TK, SD or SMP?” Damar who looks amused looks at Ghandi and Selena.
“Yesterday” Ghandi Said.
“So you want to?” ask Selena to Ghandi. Selena who had since realized never turned her gaze away from Ghandi even the presence of Damar was ignored by him.
“Dam, I want you to take care of my girl, because I can't take care of her, because you're the same class she” said Ghandi who sounded serious.
“Where do I want to take care of your girl, from us neighbors who want the hell he memenan, even now he sees me aja not kan” said Damar.
“So you don't want the same class as me?” asked Selena who still sounded weak.
“I want you to have the affection of a friend, because from now on my affection for you as a boyfriend, as, so you should be able to be more courageous and later in class you will be accompanied by Damar” to hear the words of Ghandi make Damar nauseous. Damar seemed to see scenes from the soap opera that was often watched by his mother at home.
“Gue don't follow you guys Deh” Damar shook his head.
“Dam, you're my neighbor right?” ask Selena softly.
“So all this time what Sel, from our small neighbor, one school from Kindergarten, SD, SMP and now we are his High School together” said Damar.
“You want to be my theme?” selena asked with her innocent face. Damar doesn't understand how Selena is, but today is the first time Selena has spoken to him, and he decides to agree to be Selena's friend and bodyguard in class.
---***---
“So we never talk from small?” selena asked confusedly.
“True, and it was the first time you chatted with me” said Damar.
“Means I'm anti-social then, or as loving as Ghandi?” the first impression I heard of Damar's story about the beginning of our friendship was that I was anti-social and I didn't want to part with Ghandi.
“Social is possible, but if as much as it is like sih” said Damar.
“If I don't love Ghandi then I beg him for a class to me” I told Damar.
“If you have remembered, you yourself know the answer, let us go home, nantik continue again” Damar stood up and pulled my hand slowly so that I stood up and left this canteen.
“Oh yes, actually the canteen has memories of us there” Damar stroked my head again.
I know that Damar doesn't want to rush everything, but it still feels so lacking and it seems like I need him to solve this puzzle, like Ghandiku once asked Damar to be my guardian. I'm sure that Ghandi is indeed the person I love, otherwise I love it might not be the name of him that is always in my head. Although Damar seemed enthusiastic about telling stories, I could feel a sad feeling from his face when only he could remember our past.
“Dam, you help me well, to find my true self” asked Damar.
“Hmmmm on condition that you want to be my friend?” Damar repeated my words when we first became friends, and I smiled at him.
