"...And He has created all things, and He has fixed their dimensions with his sheen."
[Al-Furqaan/25:2]
----
The sky seems dim, the incandescent as if hiding to disguise the light. But even though the incandescent dimmed the hot air still encircling, evidenced by the many humans who began to dress openly in public and also the many people who flick everything to present a cold wind.
Amira stepped gracefully, she wore a truss shirt with a batik top and a plain black skirt so that it looks formal clothing pieces even though if the hijab is lifted it will be clearly visible seam joints that are covered in a cloth belt. Amira wears flatshoes to protect her legs.
"Assalamualaikum warohmatullahi wabarokatuh," said Amira sitting in front of a beautiful woman in a blue veil.
"Waalaikumsalam warohmatullahi wabarokatuh," answered the woman then stood to embrace Amira.
"Kangen," said Nirmala in a spoiled tone, Amira chuckled at hearing that.
"It's also been a month not to meet," said Amira took a seat in front of him.
"So late, people usually meet every day." Amira nodded in agreement. Yes, they always met. Except that Tuesday, sometimes the two go out together outside of work hours.
"Well this is how life is," said Amira slowly leaving a bitter tone in each word series.
"Yes, forget it, how are you?"
"As you see, I am fine. What about Mama?"
"I'm good, very good." Nirmala revealed with a happy twinkle that was so visible.
"Alhamdulillah, Mala looks good." Nirmala touched both of her cheeks which appeared to be red.
"really? Thank goodness." Nirmala replied in a happy tone but then her face seemed to frown. "But Dinan said I was fat. The word fat is very sensitive for women. What else is a housewife like me."
Amira grimaced when the sacred name was called, lying if it all affected the feelings she had, because in fact the name still had its own throne in the affairs of her heart.
"Why you?" nirmala asked feeling wrong, Nirmala really did not understand the silence of Amira.
"No papa, speaking of fat problems so remember that I lost two pounds." Nirmala stiffened and then looked at Amira's face.
"Yes, do you look thinner? You got a problem?" Amira shook her head because she did not have anything that affected her feelings.
"How can you handle it?" Amira shrugged her shoulders.
"I'm starting to lose my appetite." Nirmala grimaced, Amira could see a concerned look in Nirmala's eyes for herself.
"Would you take vitamins?"
"Udah, even bought milk is also the same brother. But what else?" Amira seems frustrated with her weight problems, because Amira has an unnatural thing, if someone easily raises weight differently from Amira. Even when fat alone that seems to contain only his cheeks his body is still the size even though it looks more fat.
"Check the doctor try," said Nirmala giving the idea.
"Yes, God willing." Nirmala.
"Until I forget I haven't ordered." Nirmala looked to find a servant and called out with a hand. Amira put her bag down and pulled out her phone to check who knew there was important information.
"What did you order?"
"I pack chrispy chicken rice plus stir-fry and drink tea with a little warm sugar." Amira then gets busy with her phone replying to some messages from the prospective client who will be her student.
"Oh yeah, Damar's gonna be here." Amira looked at Nirmala in wonder, in fact she would not be surprised if Nirmala said that her husband would pick her up which makes her sentence wonder as if saying that her husband would join in eating together.
"Why?"
"No papa, I think it's weird." Nirmala said while looking down.
"I'm pregnant" Nirmala said, whispering. Amira rounded her eyes, she looked at Nirmala excitedly.
"Serious sir?" ask Amira enthusiastically.
"Ck, why do you respond the same." Nirmala looked grumbled.
"Where's mbak?"
"No, you're the second to know. Because to me you are still the most special brother." Nirmala clasped Amira's hand in full force, without feeling a drop of crystal falling on her second eye.
"Thank you Ma'am." Amira clasped Nirmala's hand.
"Later there will be something I introduce you to" Nirmala said in a secretive tone.
"Who?"
"Friends of Damar. Who knows if you guys are suitable. He was married but he was good. He's Mas Damar's lecturer's colleague."
"So?" Amira looked at Nirmala full of investigation. Actually this is not the first thing done by Nirmala so Amira is already immune to the behavior of the young mother-to-be.
"But it's weird to know this pregnancy of mine, Mira!" Amira looked at Nirmala.
"Why?"
"Yes, I don't know anything about it. I used to eat and sleep undisturbed, I didn't have morning sicknees either." Amira looked at Nirmala and then nodded if I can be honest actually Amira was confused to respond, besides because she had never been pregnant she also lacked knowledge about this. So he remembered his conversation with Lena's ustadzah about a Muslim must have extensive knowledge, whether in the field of religion, knowledge, habits, health or whatever it is.
"I actually don't understand it either, Ma'am. But my sister-in-law said when she was first pregnant she was too, said mbak Dinda she ngebo it." Nirmala seemed enthusiastic about Amira's words.
"So it's not a problem, is it?"
"It doesn't matter anyway, ma'am, as long as the baby is conceived and the pregnant mother is healthy." Amira smiled faintly.
"Prayer yes," said Nirmala with a happy smile, Amira was actually inside her chest there was a slight incision she wanted to also feel that Nirmala felt.
"Have you checked with the doctor?" ask Amira.
"Already, it was ushered Dinan." Nirmala lowered her voice as she called out Dinan's name she immediately looked at Amira's face trying to act somewhat ordinary, all of which was read by Nirmala but she could not do much.
"How is he doing?" amira looked at the empty table.
"Well done. Keep taking vitamins too." Amira nodded again, although her eyes could not be separated from the feeling of emptiness.
"Oh yeah, how is cravings in the view of Islam?" Nirmala tried to melt the atmosphere.
"Thank you" said Amira as the waiter served the drink first.
"I don't understand it yet" Amira said grimacingly.
"If Dinan says, the cravings have been around for a long time." Nirmala said in an unconvinced tone.
"Cuman said he should not follow excessive and strange things. As if cravings do not like the smell of the husband, it should not be obeyed because it is incitement shethan. Anyway we have to sort it out" Nirmala said as she sipped her drink.
"Means not all cravings should be followed?"
"Yes, he also said that we are prohibited from saying that cravings are baby requests and will cause a bad if not obeyed." Amira nodded she understood.
"Continue according to the doctor?"
"Doctors do not discuss the matter, just say that the husband must provide more care and understanding." Amira nodded.
"Keep about cravings?"
"It wasn't the doctor who said it, but Dinan. He said that if the cravings had nothing to do with the baby, it was only the pure desire of the mother who wanted to get something that made her comfortable. So not all cravings must be fulfilled because they have no impact on anything but the mother." Amira nodded in understanding.
"Well, so add some science." Nirmala nodded.
"However, even Dinan knows a lot." Nirmala said in a casual tone, unaware of the change in Amira's facial expression.
"Maybe he's more experienced" Amira said unsure.
"Yes, she's just waiting for someone to get pregnant." Nirmala confirms Amira's words. Before long the food orders both come and both eat with occasional talk about light things, such as asking about school conditions or daily activities.
After she finished eating Amira said goodbye to go to the toilet for a while, and Nirmala only nodded because the young mother-to-be was still enjoying grilled tilapia. Amira smiled faintly at the happiness that appeared on the faces of friends and at the same time people he considered brothers.
Amira deliberately went to the toilet to justify her uncomfortable position, also wanted to wash her greasy mouth. Amira washes her hands and then walks back to her desk, a little surprised when she has two strangers on her desk, one facing her she knows as Damar, nirmala's husband but the other one she can't see her face because the man is sitting on his back.
"I'm sorry" said Amira as she shifted her seat closer to Nirmala.
"Amira," called the man and Amira could only silence her mouth with the thing she saw.
"You know each other?" ask Nirmala and Damar together.
"Yes" answered Amira and sat down beside Nirmala.
"How are you?" tanya Farhat extended her hand. But Amira just nodded while cupping her hands.
"I'm good, Alhamdulillah."
"Well, amazing! So you know each other. Isn't that easy?" Nirmala and Damar looked at each other with meaningful gazes, it did not escape Amira's observation.
"She's my ex-husband's candidate" said Amira immediately making Nirmala glare at Farhat and Amira alternately, before she coughed for what reason.
"So you guys?" Nirmala said that after her cough subsided and Damar patiently stroked the wife's back, it was able to pinch Amira's feelings.
"Yes, we know each other." Again Amira said it casually, because she was sure that she no longer had feelings for the man. But he had quite a curiosity about the status of the man who had become a widower. Remember her when she met about two years ago the household was both good, Fatih said. Ah, all that is not his business, it could be that the household looks fine but in it is already ravaged.
"And I don't seem to want to repeat the past" Amira said firmly and straightforwardly. Yes, right now maybe Amira does not want to repeat the past but the human mouth can only talk and in fact only God knows. For only God is heart-wrenching.
