Strange Strengths: Trash Gift

Star Location: Right Cheek

*Sera point of view

I'm Sera. Female. Just like the others, I was also in Class 1-F. Here, I serve as the Vice Class Chair. I gave up on Roman. But, in terms of lessons, I won't budge on anyone.

As long as I live, I always get a one in school ranking. Yes, in school, aka the general one rank. This time too, I am targeting to get a general one rank. Merely, I felt that someone named Akemi was already preparing to thwart this target of mine.

Besides studying, I also enjoy reading. A day without new knowledge is like a great disaster to me. Therefore, the contents of my bag are always full of books. Starting from textbooks, encyclopedias, novels, biographies, to books of general knowledge. Besides studying, I also love reading books.

Among all the students of Class 1-F, my strange strength is probably the most unreasonable. Totally beyond reason. Strangest of the strangest. As if I had been paired with a book, my strange power involved a book.

My strange power is: Every time you finish a book, someone will come to me and give me something.

Whether it's an encyclopedia, a biography or any book, every time I finish it someone will come and give me something.

My strange powers first became active about three months ago, right on my birthday. At eleven o'clock in the evening, I had just finished Ir's biography. Sukarno at my aunt's house. Someone suddenly pressed the house bell.

Ting Tong's.

I thought it was my aunt who just got home from work, but she wasn't. When I opened the door, it turned out that the man was a postman. Postman I don't know.

“This article is for you son, please accept.” He gave me something a little dirty.

“This is right.. canned used pack. Make what?” I frowned.

“I don't know. But please accept.”

“B-okay.” Slowly, I received the used can.

“Thank you.” The father then left me.

At that time, I could only gawk.

Within a month, I could finish at least ten titles of books. That means, until the end of this May, I have collected more than 30 kinds of gifts from others. It's just, the item they gave me nothing was right. The things they gave us were of no use.

“This used fish bone I ate earlier, accept.” HUH UH??

“It's stone pebbles on the roadside, accept.” IT'S NOT IMPORTANT!!

“This is my graduation photo, accept.” MAKE WHAT!!!

“This is upil I've been collecting for one week, accept.” SO DISGUSTED!!!

It's really not right! All those people's gifts nothing's right. Surprisingly again, they always arrive on time. Right after I closed the book, those people immediately came up to me and gave me a gift. Really kontan.

One day, I experimented. I go to school at night. In the school it was very quiet, there was no one. I made sure of it, there was really no one, except me. There I read a book. Read the last page I haven't read. Until finally, the book is finished.

Fiuuh. Well, now in a desolate place like this, there would be no one who could give me a gift

again, I said in my heart.

It wasn't until five seconds after I closed the book that someone was already in front of me. He rushed to run in front of me from behind.

“Previous, I'm sorry for following sister up here. I'm a big fan of big brother! Brother Sera, accept it!” A woman who was still in her school uniform thrust an object at me.

“This is right.. close the pen. Make what?”

“I don't know brother! But accept it.” The girl then ran out in excitement.

At that moment, for the second time I looked up again.

This afternoon, I was in Class 1-F. I'm finishing a novel called Irene & Irene. While the others were out to buy food, I just sat down and read a novel. Until finally, the novel ends.

Before closing the book, I looked around. Who will give me this gift? Until now, the person who gave me the gift was always the person I didn't know.

I closed the novel too.

Five seconds later.

“Hei, Sera. This is for you, accept.” A man approached my desk. She is Roman—Si Class Chair.

“It's right. Make what?”

“Ya make nail cut, lah.”

“Oh. Thanks.” I took that thing. Roman then left.

Oh my goodness, how happy I am. Finally, I got some useful stuff too. I'll keep these nail clippers fine forever!

Thank you, Roman!
