Weird Class!

Ch. 4 - Classroom Chair Selection

Unlike the other classes, the election of the chairmen of Class 1-F was held one month after they entered the school. Previously, all children took turns as class leaders every day. I intentionally implemented this system. There's no particular reason, I just tried it.

Four disciples were raising their hands: Roman, Hide, Sera and Akemi. They raised their hands to run for Inchou (Chairman of Class). Roman and Sera smiled, their faces showing confidence. It seems like they are compatible with this job. Hide and Akemi raised their hands without showing any expression. Their faces are flat.

“Alright, the four of you please come forward. Convey your Vision-Mission.” I signaled them to move forward.

The four disciples who were running for office began to step forward leaving his stool. Starting from Roman, the four of them gave speeches conveying their respective Vision.

Of the four students who nominated, I actually hope Hide will be elected. The aura of his leadership was clear to me. Although he looked less familiar with the other students, but his charisma could not be hidden. Even so, regardless of the outcome, I'm sure that's for the best.

The four candidates have finished their speeches. Roman and Sera who had looked confident even stammered when making a speech. Hide's speech was worse, he made a makeshift speech, with no clear visions, he just took out what he had in mind. It was explained without expression. Akemi's speech is the best in my opinion, The Vision-Misi in the future is very clear. His ideas are also inspiring and out of the box.

The class is so crowded, it's like a presidential election. Voting finally began. The twelve disciples present would cast their own voting rights.

Thinking about it anyway, surely Akemi will be chosen. In addition to the most popular students in the class, his speech was also very good. I don't know what's on the kids' minds. Akemi failed to get elected.

Voting is out. Here is the result:

Roman: 5 Votes

Sera: 5 Votes

Hide: 2 Votes

Akemi: 0 Votes

I was a little surprised when I saw the results of the vote. Akemi didn't get even a single sound. Hide whose speech is bad even get 2 votes. It seemed, some of the children were indeed aware of Hide's leadership aura.

I didn't think it out. They answered that ridiculous question. Roman and Sera even debated it. I mean, what's the history of Eggs and Chickens at the class president's election?

“Next question,” said after stopping the Roman and Sera debate.

“This is a very important question. Please answer seriously,” said Hoshi after raising his hand. Hoshi's face looked serious. “What percentage do you think I can get Akemi?”

Crickets krik.

Silent class. Akemi is not expressing. Hoshi's face was still serious.

Sera slightly held back a laugh when answering that question. He deliberately lied, so that Hoshi would choose him later.

Hoshi had a fight with Roman. However, they got along again after Maggiana threw a sharp glare at the two of them.

After that, the question and answer session began. All the students asked me silly things. Their questions had nothing to do with the duties of a class leader at all. Really, this class is really a Subarashii (Excellent) class.

After the question and answer session is over, voting is again done. The results are back balanced. Here is the result:

Roman: 7 Votes

Sera: 7 Votes

As their vote count continued to be the same, I was forced to ask the two candidates to discuss it myself. Finally Sera gave up. Roman who became chairman, Sera became his deputy. The class president election is finally over. The children sit quietly.

I'm still a little curious, why Akemi who is so great was not even chosen. I finally asked Ota. He then answered.

“We are classmates have agreed not to choose Akemi. Him
