"Is that woman really your mother?" ask Mr. Reno not to believe it.
"Right, but we just met," Mala replied with a smile.
"Your biological mother?" ask Mr. Reno again.
"She's our daughter" said Miss Shella, leaving the people in the room shocked.
"Our daughter? What do you mean mother?" mala asked to clarify her mother's words.
"He's your real father" said Miss Shella flat.
Mala and Mr. Reno looked at each other. Slowly but surely Mr. Reno approached Mala who still could not believe if today he had met his mother and biological father.
It turned out that Mala's accident this time could be considered to bring a blessing. Even though they met in an equally awkward atmosphere.
"Mala, my daughter?" said Mr. Reno to hug Mala.
"Wait a minute, Mala is pregnant. So don't get too tight" said Miss Shella to stop Mr. Reno.
"Oh Mala, are you pregnant? I'm gonna have a granddaughter?" said Mr. Reno happy.
"Now, too," replied Miss Shella coldly.
"really? Where's my granddaughter?" ask Mr. Reno excitedly.
Lilis and Mala just silently watched the two old men look like lovers who were booming. They look cute but there is still love between them.
"I've never met either" replied Miss Shella.
"Dad, mom. Later after Mala comes home, you can meet your grandchildren. His name is Gala," said Mala mediating their awkwardness.
"Ashik, later Dodi want to play with Gala brother huh mam?" ask Dodi with a smile.
"Yes, we'll play at Aunt Mala's place. But Dodi should not be naughty," said Lilis as she pinched Dodi's chubby cheek slowly.
"Okay mama" replied Dodi happily.
"Mala, I'm out first get some fresh air. Here it feels like my breathlessness," said Miss Shella.
Mala nodded slowly while smiling. Ms. Shella immediately walked out of the room feeling her heart was in turmoil. His mind was not careless and he did not want to look chaotic in front of Reno.
Not long after Miss Shella left, Mr. Reno also told Mala and Lilis to come out. Mala and Lilis say yes, surely they need a quiet time and place to clear up what happened 25 years ago.
Ms. Shella sat pensively in the waiting chair of the hospital. Eyes glazed.
Shouldn't my heart be happy to see him again? Now, I have not only found my daughter, but also the father of my son. Is it because he no longer cares about me? Maybe he doesn't love me anymore. He is married and has children and grandchildren. Not like I couldn't let go of her love for 25 years.
Reno's voice breaks the daydream of Miss Shella. Shella looked at Reno's face that didn't change much. Reno still looks handsome even though he is getting old.
"Reno..."
Reno sat next to Shella and was confined to an empty seat. Reno did not dare to get closer because she still did not know the true condition of Shella.
"How are you?" ask Reno slowly.
"Well," replied Shella flatly.
"I didn't think we'd meet. More unexpectedly, I would meet my daughter and granddaughter. This really surprised me," Reno said with a deep sigh.
"me too. But, I'm really happy to meet my daughter" said Shella.
"When you meet me? Are you happy too?" reno asked as he looked at Shella deeply.
"You alone, are you happy to see me?" Shella asked back.
"Of course happy, happy but also upset."
"Kiss?!" shella's face turned grim.
"Yes. Because it turns out I still love you even though it's been more than 25 years without seeing you," said Reno relieved to have expressed his heart to Shella.
Shella smiled inwardly, but her mouth still looked maniacal. Actually, she really wants to say that she still loves Reno after 25 years.
"Shella, will you live the rest of your life with me?"
Shella was surprised to hear Reno suddenly propose.
"You proposed to me?!" ask Reno.
"Yes, even in a place like this. I don't want to be late again and regret it again like before" Reno said.
Shella seemed to think, but she wanted to say yes immediately.
"Yes. I'm willing."
Shella's answer is like a fresh breeze in the dry season. Without thinking any more, Reno directly approached Shella and hugged her tightly. As if not to let go of Shella again.
"What about our children? Will they agree?" shella asked slightly.
"We'll see his condition first. Later we just ask permission from them," replied Reno.
They hugged back and let go of this 25-year longing.
