Waiting At the End of Dusk
Family gathering

Ms. Shella came with some of her employees. He came as the owner of Mall Raya who will work with the Dicko company.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Dicko," said Miss Shella as she reached out to Dicko.

"Good afternoon. Who're you?" dicko asked, shaking Shella's hand.

"I'm Shella, the new leader of the Grand Mall."

Dicko was surprised to hear the woman's introduction in front of him. Dicko looked towards the smiling Mala and blinked his eyes.

"Oh. mother. Miss Shella?" dicko said with a smile.

"How is Mrs Dicko" asked Ms. Shella.

But he was shocked when he saw Mrs Dicko was the woman he had met at the mall yesterday.

"Oh hi, this is Mrs Dicko. Mala right? Did we meet yesterday?" said Miss Shella.

"Yes," replied Mala.

Before long, Miss Shella's phone rang. He immediately rushed to pick up the phone. While the other staff chatted with Dicko.

While talking, there was a scream from Miss Shella. All eyes turned towards him. One of the staff approached Miss Shella. They seem to be talking seriously. Then the staff came back and invited the rest of the staff to leave.

They say goodbye to Dicko and Mala before they leave. They are honoring Dicko and Mala more than ever.

Ms. Shella walked over to Mala who was still weakly lying. Seen in the corner of his eyes was a grain of water that flowed slowly. He stood beside the bed and looked at Mala with a sad look.

Suddenly, Miss Shella's legs felt limp. He fell down on the floor and cried softly. Dicko and Mala were shocked to see the incident.

"Mas," said Mala asking her husband to help Ms. Shella.

"Mother, what's wrong. I'll help you wake up?" dicko said while holding Shella's hand.

"No, my daughter," said Miss Shella.

"What's Miss Shella mean?" ask Dicko.

"Even though she already knew that I was her real mother, why didn't she tell me? Does your wife hate me so much?" ask Miss Shella.

"So Miss Shella knows?" ask Dicko curious.

"Must, my brother told me that my biological son was alive. And he gave me a picture. He told me everything. Including if Mala knew I was her birth."

Dicko turned towards Mala who was bowed listlessly. Mala doesn't know how to deal with her mother. She is his real mother, but Mala feels like a stranger.

"Mother, since the beginning of our introduction, I've been calling you mother. Even though I didn't realize it, but for Dicko I thought of him as a father-in-law" Dicko said, encouraging his mother-in-law.

"Mom realized, Mala must be very shocked to know that her parents who are now not her real parents."

"Mother, Mala never hated mom. Try talking to him. She's a very nice woman. Mala must have loved mom too."

Dicko helped his mother-in-law stand up and stand by Mala's bedside. Eyes glazed. He hugged the woman in front of him.

Dicko approached Mala and held his hand to channel the energy to Mala in order to accept her birth mother's existence. Mala let out a long sigh, until she finally managed to master the turmoil of her heart.

"Mother..."

Ms. Shella was surprised but also happy to hear Mala call her mother.

"Mother..."

Ms. Shella immediately hugged Mala's still weak body. She kissed her daughter's face until Mala felt amused. He was no longer a child, but he was an adult now. But his mother treated him like a child.

"Mother, is Mala pregnant?" dicko said he saw his mother-in-law too excited.

"almost forgot. Forgive mom. I'm too happy to see you, my daughter. Dicko you go home, let me take care of Mala," shella said.

Dicko smiled and understood what his mother-in-law wanted. She must be eager to let go of her longing and also the desire of a mother to take care of her daughter when needed.

"Well mother, I'll leave Mala to mother. Mala, give your mother a chance to show her feelings for you. Let it flow as it is."

"Yes mas. Mala understands. If Gala wants to see me later, tomorrow. You must be tired, so rest at home" Mala said.

"The gala? who's she?" ask Miss Shella.

"That's mom's granddaughter. We gather together sometime. Let me get to know him better" replied Dicko.

"Mommy is very happy, it turns out that mother already has a grandchild and also a second grandchild. I want to give you the mother's affection that you haven't gotten from me Mala" said the mother.

"Dicko go first mom, Mala."

Dicko stepped away from the mother and child, to get to know him more closely. Actually they miss each other only they feel hesitant and reluctant to admit.

"Mala, forgive mom. For 25 years your life must have suffered greatly. The wrong mother, can't protect you" said the sad mother.

"Mom don't have to apologize. Mala knew mom must have been very difficult at that time. There is also Sri's father and mother. They take good care of me."

"Thank God. They didn't comply with my mother's wishes to throw you away or hand you over to the orphanage. I would love to meet them and say thank you" Miss Shella said with a sigh.

"Sometimes Mala will take mother to the fishing village. The Mala residence all this time. The place is so beautiful. I would love to go there" Mala said with a smile.

"Mom wants to go there soon" said Miss Shella.

They are both getting closer and closer. They talk while occasionally laughing and throwing smiles at each other. While they were busy talking, the Lilis family came to visit Mala.

It turns out they came from a family. Including Reno sir. All immediately approached Mala who was lying down and said his greetings.

"Assalamualaikum" said Lilis.

"Wa'alaikum greetings" Mala and Miss Shella answered almost simultaneously.

"Mr Mala, how are Mala and her baby. It's okay, isn't it?" ask Lilis.

"Tante Mala.." cried Dodi.

"Dodi.." said Lilis, forbidding Dodi from saying much.

"I'm doing fine. Dodi, Auntie kangen with Dodi," Mala replied.

But among them no one thought if Mr. Reno and Miss Shella who accidentally met, they pretended not to know each other. Mr. Reno's gaze was full of anger because during his life he could not see his son.

Had it been, the Shella family let her marry Shella would not have been like this.

"Lilis, meet my real mother. We just met," Mala said, introducing Miss Shella to her mother to let her know that she can accept the existence of Miss Shella.

"What, that woman is your mother Mala?" asked Mr. Reno not to believe because he knew his daughter had died 25 years ago.
