Waiting At the End of Dusk

Waiting At the End of Dusk
Go to work

Today, Mala started working in her husband's company. Mala gave up all the housework to auntie for a while. If Mala gets tired of working, she will definitely return to being a housewife.

After breakfast, Mala asks Dicko to wait outside. Mala still had to take her bag and her husband's bag. But Dicko couldn't possibly let Mala get too tired.

"Mas, wait for me in the car. I'm going to get the bag first" Mala said.

"No, hon. Let me take your bag in the room, right? I haven't even brought my bag yet. I'll get you all."

"Alright, then I accompany Gala to prepare her bag," Mala said as she looked towards Gala.

"No need ma'am, Gala can take it herself. Mother just sit down. Take care of the baby's grandpa" Gala said.

They smiled at Gala's words. Gala is already acting mature now, already able to take care of herself.

"Well, since you can take care of yourself, I'll just obey you."

"Alright, Gala, let's get excited" Dicko said as he walked away.

Mala smiled at the behavior of the two men who had given color in Mala's life. Happiness is simple. Seeing the attention of the two to her was even happier.

The three of them got in the car together. After delivering Gala to school, Mala and Dicko continue their journey to the company.

"Mas, you'll get me down on the side street of the company, okay?" mala.

"Why?" ask Dicko in shock.

"I want to work as a regular employee. I want to enjoy the moments like before. When I first worked here."

Mala smiled in memory of the past. Although there are many sad memories of that time Dicko pretended not to recognize him. Dicko was very attentive to her. Buy her favorite food even for various reasons.

"When I plan to introduce you to all the employees if you're my wife" Dicko said somewhat disappointedly.

"Mas, if they find out I'm your wife, they'll be very happy to work with me. So follow me" said Mala.

"Good, baby . Now you're the boss, so as a subordinate I'll obey all the boss' orders" Dicko said with a smile.

Mala returned her husband's smile with the sweetest smile she had.

Dicko's car stopped next to Dicko's company building. It came down carefully.

"Don't come down, I can do it myself. Someone will see" said Mala slowly.

Dicko just kept silent to hear the wife's words. There is only the desire of this pregnant woman. Ngidam. But that way, Dicko can keep an eye on his wife for 24 hours. More fun.

"Go first mas, I will follow," said Mala slowly.

"alright. Later if you need help, call me or Agam immediately" Dicko said.

"OK," Mala replied briefly.

Mala looked at her husband's car that was getting away and into the parking lot. Mala walked slowly towards the company lobby.

But Mala's confidence is greater than their bad views on her. Mala leisurely walked past the employees who had once been her coworkers.

"Mala, do you remember me?" ask Mila Viennese sister.

"Hey, Madame," Mala replied as she reached out to Mila.

Mila welcomed Mala's hand and they hugged her for a moment.

"You work again?" ask Mila curious.

"Yes, ma'am."

"So, the woman who said to other friends the boss's favorite woman was you?" ask Mila in shock.

"What favorite woman? Perhaps what they meant was someone else," Mala replied evasively.

"It's possible, then good work," Mila said with a smile.

Mala was relieved because Mila did not ask too many questions. If it happens then Mala does not know what to answer.

Mala works as an assistant like her old job. But this time, Dicko was more attentive and did not give him a hard job. Because for Dicko, Mala was his pregnant wife and should not be much of a burden. Although Mala always told him not to discriminate with others, Dicko still could not.

Dicko went alone to get water, but usually Agam took it for him. Of course it triggers the curiosity of all employees who happen to see it.

Dicko doesn't care. All he cared about was Mala's comfort while in her office. Dicko put a glass of water on Mala's desk.

"Mala, you must be thirsty. I brought you a drink. Drink it?" dicko said with a smile.

"Sir Dicko, if I want a drink, I can take it myself. Mr. Dicko has nothing to worry about" Mala cuek replied.

"Darling, I can't stand even a day. Why should it be kept secret? Are you ashamed to be my wife?" ask Dicko pouting.

"Sir Dicko, I don't want to deal with them. They will come to me and try to draw sympathy from me. I must be tired mas," replied Mala trying to calm her husband's heart.

"But if there's no one, I can just hug you. Or just kiss the forehead, okay?"

"Good sir Dicko. Oh yes sir, I saw that the company has a partnership with Mall Raya. When are you guys working together?" ask Mala.

" Three months ago. But this time there was a new change. He said his boss had just come from abroad. There will be an update on this partnership" Dicko said."Why are you asking this?"

"Because the new owner of the Mall Raya is Miss Shella, my real mother," Mala replied with a sigh.

"really? How do you know that the owner of your real mother means my in-laws?" dicko asked somewhat jokingly.

"Today I came from there and met him. Not only that, I talked to him. She looks still very pretty," Mala replied then smiled.

"I believe she must be beautiful. Her child alone was this beautiful, sweet, gentle and charming. It makes me envious" said Dicko, who made Mala flinch at her husband.

"What the hell are you talking about, I'm not surprised?" mala said, pretending.
