I still love her

"How are you doing right now?" ask Willy who is now sitting opposite Paula in a cafe.

Willy says if there's anything he needs to talk about Kevin to Paula, so Paula agrees to their meeting here.

"Well, did something bad happen to Kevin?" paula asked a little cems because it's not usual for Willy to ask to meet her seriously.

"No, nothing bad happened to your son, his health development is getting better, tomorrow even he will be transferred to a regular hospital room. I just wanted to meet you and take you to relax for a while, I saw you were too tired lately" Willy said.

"I'm sorry, but I don't have time to relax, where maybe I can relax while my son still lies weakly with various tools attached to his body." Paula got up from her seat, really today she was not going anywhere and met anyone if Willy did not use Kevin as an excuse to ask to meet her.

It's not Paula's intention to forget Willy's good service he once received, it's just that there are times when we are tired and just want to stay alone, facing problems after problems that come into his life makes him feel his life is on a roller coaster, tense and tiring.

"Wait on! Can't we just talk for a second?" hold Willy while holding Paula's wrist so she doesn't leave him alone.

"Sorry Willy, today I'm very tired, from yesterday I was looking for a job, not to mention going back and forth to the hospital to make sure Kevin is, maybe next time we talk." Paula refused.

"You don't have to be so self-torturing looking for a job and all sorts of things, I can help you if you'd like. I'm sure you're not blind and you know that if I like you, I want to talk about how I feel about you" Willy revealed the contents of his day and told me his true purpose in meeting Paula.

Paula was silent, she again sat herself in the chair that had been sat in and almost left.

There is something to be made clear here, Paula is not blind, she is not insensitive, of course she knows that Willy helps her not just for humanitarian reasons or because they are old friends, from the clear attitude he showed her, it can be seen clearly if Willy expects another reward from Paula even though he has never spoken from the man's lips so that Paula also does not want to take a stance because she does not want to be impressed too confidently.

But when she said it clearly about her feelings, Paula finally decided to take a stand, she did not want this understanding to drag on between them.

"I'm really grateful for your kindness that helped me and Kevin so much, but sorry---I don't have any more feelings for you, than being a friend. Sorry--- I guess you deserve a better woman than me, you're great, your career is good,,, I don't seem like a person who deserves to be your best friend." Sounds subtle, but rejection is still rejection, as smooth as anything will feel painful and disappointing, as well as how Willy feels today.

"Why? What is less than me? What does Joshep have and not have on me? You rejected me because you still love her, right? I can love you, I can accept your son, why? What makes you unable to accept me?" Willy again held onto Paula's wrist that was on the table, this time a bit more rough than before.

"No, won't I let go before you say what's your reason for rejecting me?" willy's eyes turned red, it seemed like he was getting angry, but I don't know who.

"I don't love you, I don't have any feelings for you!" paula said straightforwardly.

"Is it because you still love Joshep that you rejected me?" asked Willy again as if dissatisfied with the answer Paula gave him, his hands were more likely to grip Paula's wrists.

"Yes, I still love Joshep, I can't love anyone anymore because there will only be him in my heart." Paula finally said, he was forced to say that because he wanted Willy to stop holding his hand and stop putting his hope in it, he thought it was the only way to stop Willy's madness.

"I can't believe he left you and told you, made you suffer!" slap Willy.

"Whatever if you don't believe me, I've told you the truth, I'll scream if you don't let go of my hand!" threaten Paula's.

"Thank you for being honest, and you-re let go of his hand or I won't let you see the sun tomorrow!"

Paula and Willy simultaneously turned to the origin of the sound that was so close to them, apparently Joshep was suddenly there.

But the most panicked and his face looks pale is Paula, he did not expect when he said the words that had only been to bully Willy, even heard directly by Joshep.

Paula doesn't even know how she'll explain it to Joshep about what she says she still loves her ex-husband.
