UNEXPECTED MEETING: Naura's Luck

After the Sunday Familiarity event on campus, Naura went straight home. Invite his friends to hang out while coffee, to celebrate the success of the event he refused. Because he thought, only the first day of cooking was already celebrated, finally running away from his friends.

"Your sister Jessica is home, let's papa have been waiting from earlier" said Novi as he took a roll from the arms of his second daughter.

"Yes, yes ma." Naura finally got up and rushed into the bathroom.

"Okay baby, mama wait outside huh. Don't sleep in the bathroom, baby."

After seeing Naura enter the bathroom, Novi then headed for the family room. Jessica was already there chatting with her papa.

"Where's the Nauranya ma?" ask Jessica.

Not long after, Naura came out with her hair still wet. Novi smiled, then shifted his seat closer to Samsuar. Naura immediately sat on the chair that her mother had occupied.

Everyone fell silent, then focused on watching Samsuar speak.

"Jessica..., you're 23 this year, right? Papa wants to ask you to marry your mama's friend. He will help us close the financial hardship we are currently facing son" Samsuar said slowly, but it sounded like a lightning strike to Jessica.

All were silent, and Naura also cried to see her brother, and the problems his family was facing. Samsuar was unable to force his first daughter, the corner of his eyes staring at Naura.
