Rissa's Dilemma

Dion stood up, his breathing rumbling. His gaze was still sharp towards Rissa, the mother also stood up to align her body.

"Are you sure you want to choose her?" Ask Dion.

"Mother was so sure, Rissa was a good boy. And he treated Mother very well," Mother Anna replied with great emphasis.

"Why should he? Isn't there anything better, that's on par with us?" Ask Dion.

"Enough, Dion. I've never taught you to speak so inappropriate!" Excited Anna's Mother.

"Mom, how can I not talk like that. She, the woman of unclear origin. His family just doesn't know what it looks like" Dion said.

Rissa looked at Dion in annoyance, she could not just stay silent like this anymore.

"I'm sorry, dear Mr. Dion. I know who I am, and I know I am not equal to you. But one thing you should know, never take my family with you. Do you think I would accept this proposal? I don't even know anything about Mother and Mr. Dion!" Rissa cried while holding back her tears that began to seep.

"Don't pretend to be innocent. You must have deliberately persuaded Mom to ask me to marry again and then I had no choice and then chose you!" Dion.

"Dion is enough, I said enough! Rissa doesn't know anything, I haven't even talked about her sitting up with Rissa." Anna's mother was really angry to see her son's attitude that began to be rude.

Suddenly, Anna's mother held her chest. His breathing was stingy, his eyes began to shut withstanding the pain.

"Mom, why's Mom?" Rissa asked as she held onto her master's body.

Dion also panicked, especially when he saw the mother who began to lose consciousness.

"Astagfirulloh, Mom." Dion's panicked.

He immediately put his mother to bed on the sofa, and asked Rissa to bring warm oil.

Rissa ran into the kitchen, looking for a health box.

After getting what he was looking for, Rissa Lembali ran over to Dion and his master.

"Mom, wake up, Mom." Dion rubs warm oil on his mother's forehead.

Sayup-sayup Dion heard the mother's voice, "Mom just wants you to be happy, son. I also want to have a grandchild soon" he said weakly.

Dion cried, hugging his mother while apologizing.

"Mom, sorry Dion. Sorry about Dion being like this."

A month after the incident, Dion's mother fell ill. It required Dion to go back and forth to visit his mother, and without Dion realizing it, he almost never asked again about his wife's plans for a baby tube program.

Melati who felt her husband's attention was reduced, as much as possible still held her back to look like usual.

However, occasionally he also felt annoyed because Dion was no longer as usual.

"Tomorrow has to control again," muttered Melati as she put the magazine she had read on the table.

While looking at Dion who was about to walk up to her, her husband was tidy with his work clothes.

"Darling, I'm leaving first." Dion kissed his wife softly, then left her.

"Mas," called Melati to make Dion stop his steps.

"Yes, why?" Ask Dion.

As she walked closer to her husband, her face revealed a look of annoyance.

Dion nodded his head, without making a sound.

"Hemm, isn't there anyone to take care of you?" Ask Melati again.

Dion narrowed his eyes, digesting his wife's question.

"There is, but I also have to confirm Mom's condition directly."

Melati exhaled, "lately you've changed," finally Melati revealed what she's been holding.

"Change how does that mean?" Ask Dion.

Melati looked into her husband's eyes, "you're more concerned about your mother, and forgot about me." Jasmine whining.

Dion was flabbergasted, he could not understand the words his wife had just said.

"Mel, obviously I'm concerned about Mom. He's sick now" said Dion, a little upset.

"But I also need your attention, even lately you've never hinted if I talked about my desire for a baby tube program. Do you really want me to get pregnant again?" Melati asked, her emotions started to rise.

"Mel, I don't want to fight early in the morning. One more thing, as long as you're not healed I'll still be visiting you every day" Dion replied.

"I go first" he added as he walked towards the car.

Jasmine stomped her feet on the floor, she was upset that Dion was scolding her back.

"Then, I'll go to the hospital myself for a consultation. Anyway I want the program, let Mas Dion accompany me or not." Melati was determined in her heart.

***

At Mother Dion's residence, Rissa was feeding the middle-aged woman very painstakingly.

"Eat a lot, Mom. Let's get healthy fast." Rissa suggested.

Anna's mother nodded, then she asked Rissa to help her wake up.

"Ris," said Anna's mother.

"Well, why, Mom?" Ask Rissa gently.

"I'm sorry about what happened that time" he said.

Rissa smiled faintly, "Mom, sorry in advance. It's not that Rissa doesn't know thank you, or is being assertive with Mom. But, Rissa thought that the matter of asking Mother and Father-in-law Mr. Dion was not able to follow Rissa," replied Rissa carefully.

Anna's mother showed her disappointed look, "why? Rissa, even if you're Dion's second wife, but I'll treat you well, really." Anna's mother tried to persuade.

Rissa lowered her face, at a glance she was reminded of all the kindness Mother Anna had done for her even for the orphanage where she lived first.

"Without being a mother-in-law, I've been very kind to Rissa. But for Mr. Dion, Rissa wasn't sure she'd accept Rissa, Mom."

"Mom sure Dion can be nice to you, too. Sa, let's just say this mother's request is the last." Anna's mother resigned.

Rissa raised her head again, "Mom, don't talk like that."

"If you agree to Mom's wishes, just think of it as a reward that you've been wanting to do to Mom."

Rissa was stunned, what her master said was indeed true. Too much good he had given her, even Rissa herself had promised herself to be devoted to Mother Anna. Thanks to the kindness of Anna's mother, Rissa and the orphanage's inhabitants are able to live a decent life. Anna's mother always makes donations every month in the orphanage, she also guarantees the health checks of the children of the orphanage regularly. That is what makes Rissa determined to repay the services of Anna's mother. But if the employer's request was a condition to return the services, Rissa thought it was too difficult for her. Especially seeing Dion's attitude to him, what will be his household later. What he never thought would happen in his life.

Being a second wife is not an easy thing, especially what people will say about her status.
