Two Rings

Two Rings
The more Guilty

Dion still ate dinner with his wife, occasionally he ate uneasy. Given Rissa who had either eaten or not, Dion was really not feeling well.

While eating, Melati asked Dion to get something.

"Mas, I want crackers. Can I get?" Rajuk Melati's.

Dion nodded, and moved out of his place.

As he entered the kitchen, the sound of conversation made Dion look for the source of the sound.

How surprised Dion, staring at his second wife who was eating food with a small tapestry.

"Sa, why are you here?" Dion asked as he entered the room that Bi Ai and his wife occupied.

Rissa turned her head, and kept the plate she had been holding.

"Why really? Can't I eat with Bi Ai?" Ask Rissa.

"It's not like that, but you can eat at the dinner table." Dion.

"Loh Den, it's okay for Neng Rissa to eat with Bibi, it's usually also the workers eat here," said Bi Ai.

"Bi, Rissa's problem isn't..."

"What does it take? Can I help you?"

Rissa cut Dion's words, she didn't want Bi Ai to know who she really was.

"It... I want to take crackers," replied Dion.

Rissa was about to get out of place, but Dion held her back.

"Let me go" refused Dion.

Rissa sat back down, "is there something else?" Ask.

Dion shook his head, and stood up from his place. He came out of the room, of course, feeling guilty.

"Oh my God, does Rissa deserve such a position? I'm really not a fair husband!" Dion cried in his mind.

Dion stepped up in a row, when Melati noticed her husband who had just come out of the kitchen.

"Mas, why so long take the crackers," said Melati.

Dion gasped, "sorry baby, I didn't know where the crackers were stored." Dion explained, speeding up his pace.

Dion thrust crackers at Melati, her face still showing guilt.

"Don't know, the crackers are in the usual closet, Mas." Melati's a little upset.

"Yes, I forgot dear, sorry. You continue to eat" said Dion.

Melati sighed, the tail of her eyes still glancing towards Dion.

"Don't daydream," said Melati.

Dion turned his head, returning his consciousness.

"Who's daydreaming, dear. It's just a little cape" said Dion.

Again he lied to his wife, Dion was tired.

***

After dinner, Dion and Melati were in his room. Same with Rissa, he just finished praying isya.

Unable to feel sleepy, Rissa decided to go around the house. Rissa decided to sit in the backyard, feeling the atmosphere of the night quite calm.

"Dark, no stars. At least I have a friend, the sky seems to describe my current fate." Rissa looked up her face to the sky.

In Dion's room, Jasmine had fallen asleep. But not with Dion, he could not close his eyes. Dion intends to get out of the room, and of course check whether Rissa has rested or not.

Dion walked into his second wife's room, of course with great care.

Dion knocks on Rissa's door, but she gets no answer.

Dion decided to go back, but his steps came to a halt when he saw the glass door connecting the living room and the backyard open.

Dion walked towards the door, and saw Rissa who was standing looking up at the sky.

Dion's question slightly surprised Rissa, making her flinch instantly.

"Shock me Mas" said Rissa.

"Don't see anything, just look at the dark sky." Rissa added.

Dion sat his body on the chair, right behind Rissa who was still standing.

"It's night, the night breeze isn't good for the body."

Rissa fell silent, she chose not to listen to her husband.

"I'm sorry" Dion said.

Rissa turned around, looking at Dion who was down.

"Sorry for what?" Ask Rissa.

Dion took a deep breath, and exhaled it slowly.

"Sorry, I can't treat you like I treat Melati."

Rissa smiled wryly, her lips clenched.

"Maybe not, Mum. I-i understand. Anyway, I didn't expect much. I realize where I am" said Rissa calmly.

"I don't know if I can accept you or not, Sa. I love Melati" said Dion.

"That's your right, Mas. I won't force you to accept me either" Rissa said as she walked over to sit next to Dion.

"I just want to repay all the services of Mother Anna, I want to realize her dream of having grandchildren. If Anna's mom gets what she wants, you can divorce me. Mas." Rissa added.

Dion was surprised, Rissa's words were not easy.

"Sa, how could I possibly be that rich. Leaving you after you became the mother of my son!" Dion.

Rissa smiled bitterly again, "then how? I also don't know when I can survive with a man who doesn't love me" replied Rissa

"The polygamy's requirement is to be fair, and I don't see that intention from you, ma'am."

Rissa's words again made Dion not warty, he was really covered in guilt.

"I'd rather go than keep poking you in the pit of sin, I don't want you to bear that. With me gone, you only have to glorify one wife. Isn't that what you want?" Ask Rissa.

"Don't think about what I am, Mom. I've resigned, God knows better what's best for my life" added Rissa.

Dion looked at Rissa deeply, indeed her heart was so touched.

"What is your heart made of, Sa? I have misjudged you, you good woman. And I don't deserve to have a woman as good as you" Dion murmured inwardly.

"Mas, I'm going in first. It's not good if you suddenly see Madam Melati," said Rissa as she moved from her place.

"Sa,"

Dion spontaneously grabs Rissa's hand, making Rissa stop her steps.

"Why else would you?" Rissa asked, she took off her husband's hand.

Dion stared at his hand that was patted by Rissa, for some reason it made her a little uncomfortable.

"I'm sorry, I haven't done my duty as a husband to you." Dion spoke weakly.

Rissa fell silent, and only gave a fake smile.

"I see, I just want you to do it sincerely. Not by force," he replied as he passed away leaving Dion.

"Sa, I'll try to accept you. I promise," said Dion as Rissa began walking away from him.

"Don't turn around, Sa. Don't show your hope!" Rissa cried, asking her steps not to stop and turned to her husband.

Dion sat down again, rubbing his face violently.

"Oh Allah, forgive me. Help me to live everything fairly, I don't want to hurt anyone. Astagfirulloh." Dion's heart raged.

Dion was determined to fix everything. Not because of his mother, but because of his obligation as a husband who has more than one wife.
