Two Rings

Two Rings
Bitter Pills

Rissa slowly knocked on the door of the orphanage, waiting for someone who had raised her long ago.

The door of the orphanage opened, and it turned out that the one who opened the door was someone Rissa had longed for.

"Sa" said Mirna. The baby-turned-natured mother babysits Rissa.

"Mom."

Rissa hugged Mother Mirna, releasing the longing that had been in her pendam.

Rissa's hug was countered by the middle-aged woman, she also missed her foster child so much.

"Sa, Miss Kangen. You alone here? Where's your husband or mother-in-law?" Ask Mirna's mother.

Rissa smiled bitterly, for now she was not ready to tell everything to her foster mother.

"Mom, I'm tired. Can I come in for a break?" Ask Rissa.

Mirna's mother nodded, happily holding Rissa into the parlour.

Several times, Mirna's mother noticed the look on her foster child's face.

"Sit, Sa."

Mirna's mother asked Rissa to sit next to her, and was immediately nodded by Rissa.

"How's Anna's mother doing?" Ask Mirna's mother.

"Thank God be good, ma'am." Rissa answered as she was.

"Thankful then. Oh yeah, how are you?" Ask Mirna's mother.

Rissa gasped, should she tell her foster mother everything.

"I... Okay, Mom." Rissa tried to show her smile.

Mirna's mother sighed, she looked at Rissa's face carefully.

"It looks like Rissa is having a problem" he murmured inwardly.

"Sa, why are you carrying such a big bag?" Mirna's mother finds out Rissa's real arrival to the orphanage. He felt that his foster children were open just want to visit.

Rissa took a quick glance at her luggage, "this, ma'am. I want to stay here again. Okay, Mom?" Ask Rissa.

Mirna's mother frowned, she was very curious why Rissa wanted to go back to live in the orphanage.

"The door of the parlour is always open for you, Sa. But first I wanted to ask, are you fighting with your husband?" Ask Mirna's mother.

Rissa fell silent, she lowered her face deeply.

"Sa, what's wrong with you? Is everything okay?" Seeing Rissa's attitude, Mirna's mother was increasingly convinced that something had happened with her foster child.

Rissa shook her head, "me... I want a divorce from Mas Dion, Mom."

Finally, Rissa was unable to cover up her problem anymore.

Mirna's mother was surprised, her curiosity growing. He chooses to find the right time, now all he does is hug his foster children, hoping that strength can flow to Rissa.

Rissa dropped her head on the shoulders of her foster mother, it felt like comfort came instantly.

Melati and her father, just finished handing over the files needed for the divorce process.

Jasmine walked out of the room, she sighed.

Melati's father embraces his son, gently rubbing the beloved princess's shoulders.

"May this be best for all, Mel. Dad will always be by your side" said Melati's father.

Melati smiled, she hugged her father tightly.

"Thank you, Dad. I'm relieved now, I hope I don't regret my decision." Melati.

"Let's go see Mas Dion, and I want to get my things at home, too. I want to, right?" Melati asked while looking at the father's shady face.

Melati's father nodded happily, he had already decided to always support his son.

***

Dion, with a gontay step, walked into his mother's house.

The look of his face was crumpled, he was smashed into pieces.

It never occurred to him that everything would be like this, he just always hoped that his household would be fine.

Now that Dion can only resign, he will try to accept everything that happens in his life.

"Lady..."

Dion called his mother weakly.

Anna's mother came out of her room, she walked over to her son.

"Why, Yon?" Ask The Mother.

Dion looked at his mother softly, and then hugged the middle-aged woman before him.

"Mom, why is everything like this? I don't want to be like this" said Dion.

Anna's mother took a deep breath, her eyes closed. Slowly the mother's tears trickled down, she also did not want everything that happened in her child's household.

Anna's mother could not say anything now, she just hugged her son tightly.

"Where's rissa, Mom?" Ask Dion.

Anna's mother only realized, she also immediately called her daughter-in-law, but there was no answer.

"Mom hasn't seen Rissa since" said Anna's mother.

Dion spread his gaze, his gaze now fixed on a paper lying on the table.

Dion walked up to get the paper.

"What's this, Mom?" Ask Dion.

Anna's mother turned her head, looking at the thing her son showed her.

"Mom don't know, Yon. What letter is that?" Anna's mother asked back.

Dion, who had been made curious, immediately opened the letter.

•The Mother, and Mas Dion•

Assalamu'allaikum, Ma'am, Mas.

Sorry if I was being disrespectful, by writing a letter to you. I can't stand it if I have to say it directly.

Ma'am, thank you. To me, I think of you as my own real mother, thank you for loving Rissa with all your heart.

Rissa will never forget Mom, here Rissa will always pray for Mom.

To Mas Dion, there's not much I want to say. I can only wish you the best, Mom. Thank you for being a part of my life, even though I should never have come into your life.

Mas, I'm sorry if so much is wrong with you. I'm sorry my decision was unanimous, I have to go. I can't go on, from the start it was a mistake.

Sorry, I don't want to leave you when you're down. But I hope you understand, my presence won't even fix anything.

Again, thanks for everything.

May happiness always be for you.

Greetings, Rissa.

Dion was silent, his chest tight. His eyes turned red, clear water started sticking out to the surface.

Anna's mother was confused by her son, she immediately grabbed the letter and read the contents inside.

Anna's mother was shocked, and she shut her mouth. His tears were flowing, his feet were limp.

Dion supported his mother's body, when he saw Anna's mother who was barely strong to stand.

"Yon, Rissa..."

Dion could not twitch, he was as strong as holding back his tears.

"Why Rissa should also go, Yon. Why?"

Anna's mother hit the chest of her son's field, she could not accept if it turned out that Rissa chose to leave too.

What bad luck befell Dion at this time, he has now completely lost everything. Lost his son, his two wives.

Dion wished all this was just a nightmare, he was eager to wake up from his sleep.

But baby, this is not a dream. The reality was bitter, and Dion had to swallow the bitter pill alone.
