Amongst You

*the hardest thing in life is not to choose, but to stand by choice.

🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁*

Rissa stared out the window, feeling a chill that was so bone-chilling.

Rissa was well aware of her current position, there was not much she could do. What can be expected from his marriage, even to get recognition alone is a difficult thing.

For some reason, Rissa felt a different feeling in her heart. Although he knew his whereabouts were never expected, yet in a small heart he believed that there would be a happiness for him.

Rissa's seagrass was breaking, the sound of knocking from outside her room was so disturbing.

Rissa walked towards the door, intending to see who was meeting her.

Rissa looked slightly astonished, when she saw the figure that was now standing in front of her.

"Mbak Jasmine. W-what's wrong, M-Boy?" Ask Rissa.

Melati breezed into Rissa's room, then she sat her body on the edge of the bed.

"It's okay, I just want to give you this." Melati thrusts a pepper bag on Rissa.

"This what's Ma'am?" Ask Rissa.

"Open it," said Melati.

Rissa complied, and took out something that was inside.

Rissa stared questioningly, why did Melati give that thing to her.

"Sir, what does this mean?" Ask Rissa.

"The spell is for you" said Melati.

Rissa was surprised, "but this is going to have Ma'am, why give it to me?" Ask Rissa.

"I know actually the shirt was deliberately Mas Dion bought for you," said Melati.

Rissa was again surprised, what made her husband dare to tell that in fact the shirt Dion bought was not for Melati.

"You mean, Mommy?" Ask Rissa again.

"So Mas Dion has told us all" said Melati.

Rissa fell silent, wondering what her husband had told Melati.

Flashback.

In the room, when Melati was cleaning the clothes that had just been bought.

Dion hesitantly, tries to tell about the shirt he bought for Rissa.

"Darling," call Dion.

"Well, why, Mom?" Ask Melati while folding her clothes.

"Actually... That shirt wasn't for you" Dion said stammeringly.

When he looked, he was silent as if asking for an explanation.

"Look, I just saw Rissa pick her clothes. But he didn't buy anything, I felt bad. You shop a lot of clothes and shoes, Rissa time is not bought anything. So I took the initiative to buy Rissa a dress" Dion said. Hoping Melati received her retribution.

Melati stared at the shirt that she thought it was for her, actually Melati really liked the shirt.

"I think it's for me" Melati said in a disappointed tone.

"No, honey. I'm sorry" Dion said, putting a guilty face before his wife.

Melati could not bear to see Dion who was heartless, "don't apologize, Mas. You're not wrong, though. I'm the one who's too excited" replied Melati.

"Yes it's over, I'll give the shirt to Rissa. He must be happy," added Melati.

"Thank you, baby. You are a good wife."

Off Flashback.

"I'm sorry, Sa. I thought it was for me" said Melati.

Rissa immediately sat down next to her honey, "if you like it, the clothes can make you just Jasmine."

Melati shook her head quickly, "no, ah. That's for you," refused Melati.

"It's okay, Ma'am. Just make it," said Rissa.

Melati refused again, "wear it with you, Sa. It must look prettier."

Rissa was silent, actually she really liked the shirt too. She was grateful that her husband could persuade Melati, and gave her the dress.

"Thank you, Mom. Although I actually want you to give it to me right away, but this is enough." Rissa muttered.

"Sa, can I ask you a question?" Ask Melati.

Rissa nodded, "want to ask what, Ma'am?"

Melati sighed, she actually did not want to ask Rissa this. But Melati also can not if continue to hold back to soak all alone.

"Do you have a partner?" Ask Melati reluctantly.

Rissa was stuck, she was trying to figure out what answer she was going to tell Melati.

"Why did you ask that?" Ask Rissa.

"That's okay, just curious. How, do you have it?" Ask Melati.

Rissa lowered her face, playing her fingers in confusion.

"I don't know, Ma'am." Rissa answered ambiguously.

Melati frowned, she felt dissatisfied with Rissa's reply.

"Why not know?"

"I'm afraid when I answer that I already have a partner, but in fact someone does not want me," said Rissa bitterly.

Melati stared inside Rissa, trying to understand what the woman was actually saying was her honey.

"Did that man dump you?" Ask Melati doubtfully.

Rissa was silent, staring back at her honey who was now tightly grasping her hand.

"I don't know, Ma'am. I was confused," Rissa replied in a soft voice.

Somehow Melati hugged Rissa tightly, she seemed to feel what her honey was feeling.

"Patience, Sa. You're a good girl, I'm sure of it. Only stupid men have chosen to dump you" Melati said.

Rissa suddenly couldn't hold back her tears, returning Melati's embrace was no less tight.

"Thank you, Ma'am. All I know is that God always brings good things behind bad events in our lives, including about a mate."

Melati took off her hug on Rissa, her hand now touching both of Rissa's cheeks that had been wet with tears.

"Sa, I'm sure you'll get more happiness now. I'm sure there will be men who are much better for you, like Mas Dion who treated me very well. I'm glad to hear your story, Sa. Be my best friend" said Melati.

Rissa was stunned, her heart was so sore hearing her honey speech.

"Mbak, you're so nice. I have wickedly entered into your household, even I have willingly become the second wife of your husband. I'm sorry Ma'am, I'm sorry..."

Rissa only put on a faint smile, she was unable to answer anything at this moment. He was covered in guilt for Melati, how would it be if Melati knew the truth. Rissa really felt like she was another woman's happiness destroyer, she cursed herself.

"You don't deserve this kind of treatment from Ms. Melati, Sa. You're evil!"

Outside the room, right behind the door. Dion heard all the conversations between his two wives, and he could not help his tears either. So kind-hearted were his two wives, and because of his selfishness, he had manifestly hurt the two women.

"Oh Allah, I am so wicked. So cruel was I who hurt my two wives, forgive me. Forgive me, O God..."
