Turning Hell into Heaven

Turning Hell into Heaven
23. Secrets between Doctor and patient

"Hmmm, Sunflower" said Doctor Angga.

Dara nodded.

"Did you give it to yourself?" Ask Doctor Angga.

"No" answered Dara.

"Why?" Doctor Angga seriously asked.

"Why should I give sunflowers to myself? While I give her a special for the Doctor?" Terang Dara's.

Doctor Angga got up from his chair. Walking closer to the pot containing sunflowers given by Dara who some time ago put Rani in the room where they are. Doctor Angga looked at the plant then looked at Dara and asked,

"Why did you choose to give me this flower?"

"As the Doctor has done. Giving plants as a symbol of the heart's intent. So I want to do the same to you as my doctor. I want to thank you for your dedication and hard work in guiding me through this time. So that now I can finally walk again" Dara explained.

Dara stood up from the chair where he was sitting and stood in front of Doctor Angga and then stepped up to Doctor Angga and then reached out his right hand.

"Thank you Doctor" said Dara sincerely and earnestly.

Doctor Angga shook Dara's hand. They shake. Smile in the face of the Doctor and the Patient.

"Would I choose Doc wrong? Earlier when I wanted to buy, first to the seller I explained the desire I wanted to embed in the plant I was going to give. Then the seller and the flower shop owner said that sunflowers are a type of plant that symbolizes an expression of gratitude. Don't you like it?"

Dara asked Dr. Angga with a worried face and a restless heart if his gift to Doctor Angga was not appropriate between the intent and purpose desired.

"No. I love it" Doctor Angga lifted the flower pot on his table.

"Only, if it is true that you intend to thank me through this medium, you should not just give it to me. But also to yourself Dara"

"I mean Doctor?" Dara's face was covered in question marks.

"Thank you to yourself too. Because thanks to your determination and persistence of effort you can realize your desire to heal"

Doctor Angga looked at Dara seriously though her expression was flat and still as cold as her usual days.

"But without the guidance of the Doctor, none of this would have happened" Dara said.

"I just did what I had to do as a doctor. If without a patient who is earnestly cooperating then all is meaningless, pointless" Doctor Angga smiled faintly.

"If you don't want to reward yourself for what you've achieved, then there's no need to do it. You just wait for the delivery from me" continued Doctor Angga.

"Yes?" Rhetorical Dara.

"As a doctor I will reward my patients for their hard work in realizing determination. So that he who used to be in a wheelchair is now ready to run anywhere. You just wait for the reward" explained Doctor Angga.

"Ahh so. But Doc, it's best not to. Because I'm worried that the exchange of gifts between us will be endless. Most likely if the Doctor sends me a gift then I will repay the Doctor's kindness with another gift as well"

"Hahaha hahaha hahaha" There was a sound of laughter between the two.

"Let's move this flower to the garden outside" Invite Doctor Angga.

"Wahh lest the doctor dislike ya if see my gift flowers in this room will give bad memories about patients ngeyel like me" Canda Dara.

"Silly" Teeps Doctor Angga. Again he showed a smile even though small but still looks sweet.

Dara who followed walking behind Dr. Angga followed the direction of the Doctor's current view.

"alright. Let's move it" Enthusiastic Dara.

Dara moved quickly towards her wheelchair. Then sit there and prepare to control the direction of movement of the wheelchair using the levers available as part of supporting the use of the walking aids.

"Bara. Have you forgotten how to walk or are you addicted to sitting there?"

Doctor Angga asked. Confused by Dara's attitude. You can walk normally but still want to use a wheelchair.

"Of course I remember even desperately wanting to walk as well as running with both of my legs Doctor" Dara said excitedly.

"Then?" Doctor Angga.

Dara directs her wheelchair towards Doctor Angga.

"I want you to help me Doc. Please keep it a secret about my recovery Doc" Dara said.

"I don't understand" Doctor Angga's response was flat.

"I just don't want word of my recovery from paralysis to be known by my husband and his young wife. Because there are some things I still have to do using this wheelchair. So help me to keep my recovery a secret Doc" Clear and Pinta Dara anyway.

Doctor Angga was silent for a while.

Then he nodded, took the sunflower from his table and opened the door then looked at Dara and said,

"alright. I'll keep it a secret. Whatever you want to do hopefully all is good and right and can run smoothly"

"Rani, help me bring your mistress to the garden of this clinic" Dr. Angga told Rani who was sitting waiting for them in front of Angga's doctor's room.

After moving the sunflowers from the pot to the vacant land in the garden, Doctor Angga and Dara looked at the beautiful sunflowers.

"Well, you know another allusion contained in sunflowers?" Ask Doctor Angga.

Dara answered with a sling.

"Sunflowers that bloom in the direction of the sun are a form of expression that there will be someone who can help you find direction in life and career" Doctor Angga looked at Dara at a glance then continued his explanation,

"In addition, this type of flower that can grow up to 2.5 meters is said to also be able to provide do'a for personal growth and career for the audience. If that is true then as a doctor I want my patients to feel every sense of the philosophy of the existence of sunflowers"

Dara looked up to see the look on Doctor Angga's face which turned out to be equally synchronous showing the seriousness between the tone of his speech and his facial ripples.

"Thank you for the flowers Dara" said Doctor Angga.

Now the serious view of Doctor Angga who was also followed by Dara was directed to the other side and in the park. Some people of different ages are sitting in wheelchairs.

"Hopefully with your hands, language and cold demeanor they quickly recover so that they can also walk like me Doc" Dara said.

"Then they need as much energy, passion and effort as you have" Dr. Angga responded to Dara's expectations.

'If they have it all hopefully without purpose as I intended Doc, for the sake of getting hurt to heal self-harm' Monologue Dara.
