TUMBAL SEVENTH

TUMBAL SEVENTH
The Lake

“Wood!”

“Rania!” we scream at the same time. The next second hugged each other to release the longing.

“Kangen. I think I will not be able to see you again,” he said still while hugging me.

“Same. I also thought so,” reply me. Then we let go of the hug and looked at each other for a few seconds.

“How are you?” ask us at the same time. The next second we both chuckled.

“Good,” replied we were compact again. Then chuckle again.

Bayu crossed her arms and looked at my face in such a way. “Why the hell, look at me all the way? Shame on!”

Created a very sweet curvature on his lips. “You are now very beautiful. It feels normal, really, if I'm gobsmacked.”

“Apaan, hell!” I pushed his chest slowly. He's still like he used to be, tengil and ngeselin, but fun. Evidently, even though we had been five years apart, but when we met him again there was no awkwardness that blocked us.

“Oh yes, who is he?” Bayu pointed at Mela with a gesture of his face. “Kok has a theme as beautiful as an angel like this, not known to me, anyway?” continued.

“Ya, contact yourself!” my word. Then me and Mela exchanged lyrics.

Bayu directly extended a hand in front of Mela. “Hai, my name is Bayu. Who are you?”

“Pamela. Just call me Mela!” reply Mela while shaking Bayu's hand.

The next second Bayu flipped Mela's palm and observed the line of my best friend's hand. “I predict, after this we will often meet,” he said sok yes.

Mela smiled as she shook her head. “There are you, Bay. I've been looking at Dilan aja.”

“You don't know, yes?” bayu asked Mela still while holding her hand.

Mela scrunched her forehead. “Know what, yes?”

“Dilan was one of my students. So, it is not me who is like Dilan, but Dilan who is like me,” replied Bayu. Mela laughed.

“Uwoy! Hands off my best friend! Today gini is still in mode. To the sea alone sono!” sahutku. Bayu immediately released Mela's hand.

“Say if you are jealous,” seduce Bayu while looking at my chin.

“Ish, wlek!” sahutku while shuddering amusedly.

“Oh yes, you know nothing about Tirta?” tanyaku later.

Bayu took a deep breath and lowered his hands and put them in his pants pocket. “Tirta her fate is tragic, Ran ..”

“Tragic how, anyway? And why everyone is scared is why I asked about Tirta. Even Mr. Lurah was impressed to avoid so fitting I asked about Tirta.”

“So, Tirta's .. she liked the same ...” Bayu's speech stopped while his phone rang. “Awhile, yes, I pick up the phone first!” after seeing the phone screen. I just nod.

“What?!” pekik Bayu after listening to someone on the other end of the phone. I don't know what's up? So that Bayu's face suddenly like panic so.

“Ya already, I will be sped up to the hospital,” concluded Bayu and then put the phone back in his pants pocket.

“Ran, I'm sorry, but I can't continue our conversation right now. Because my mother anfal again and she's been rushed to the hospital by my neighbor. So, I have to quickly follow to the hospital,” say goodbye Bayu hurry.

“Eum, what is your mother sick?” I asked to panic.

“Heartache, Ran. Yes, I did, yes, Ran, Mel!” pamitnya again, then rushed to his motorbike and wear a helmet. I can only nod. With Mela.

“Oh yes, you live in your old house?” tanya Bayu stopped starting his motorbike.

“Not, Bay. I stayed at the deket lodging area of Tirta's house first. To the south of the former house of Tirta,” I explained.

Bayu nodded in understanding. “Yes already, yes, I'm saying goodbye first!” then he stamped the gas. Go awayl.

Bayu is in a hurry. Until I forgot to say hello and forgot to pray for his mother's recovery.

“Ran, yuk, we continue our journey!” bring Mela. I nodded and got closer to the car.

“Ya greetings!” my peek.

“Why Ran?”

“I forgot to ask for Bayu's phone number, Mel.”

“Ah, yes.” Mela replied in a disappointed tone as well. “Yes, come on, we go to the market for lunch and vegetables run out,” he continued. I nodded and then got into the car.

“Come, Mang, go!” my word. Mang Ule nodded. Then drive the car.

“That was who, Non? His name is Tirta, yes?” ask Mang Ule.

“Kepo!” suhut Mela's. Mang Ule chuckled.

“Not, Mang. That was her name Bayu,” obviously me later. Mang Ule just fuck.

“Wood, funny too yes, the person,” Mela said with a smile.

“Kheeem!” godaku while elbowing Mela's arm.

“If cough takes medicine!” ketus Mela then turned her eyes out of the car window. Just this time Mela's expression sparkled when talking about guys.

“Ciyeee,” my god again.

“Ck, what, anyway?” he said without looking at me.

I saw the view to the side of the road. Suddenly I remembered Bayu's words. Tirta liked? Who do you like, huh?

“Ran!” call Mela while patting my shoulder.

“Hem. What?” I flinched from the daydream.

“What's daydream, anyway?”

“Not dreamy,” sahutku origin.

“Not dreamy, kok invited not to connect,” ketus Mela.

“Hah? What did you say?” I asked while looking at him.

“Tuh, right?” he pointed at me while pointing at me. “Udah, until the market. Come down!” mela continued speaking in a half-creaming tone near my ear.

I looked out the window. Ah, true. Mang Ule even went down first. I didn't realize it because I kept thinking about Tirta.

“Yes already, let's get down. After shopping straight home, yes!”

“Ah, you Ran. Shopping is also not yet, have thought back home aja,” said Mela while holding my hand. We go hand in hand entering the market, and shopping for everything that is necessary. After everything we were looking for was bought, we went back to the inn.

***

“We cook immediately for later malem, yes, Ran. Let's stay here soon. ‘Kan, in the afternoon we want to meet Dian.”

“Bby, deh, Mel. Yes already, here I help,” my bargain.

“Nih, slice it up!” tell Mela while thrusting onions and knives at me. “For this lunch, we must have kale.” I nodded in agreement as my hands began peeling the onions. While Mela began to weed her kale.

“So here is enough?” ask me while showing the onions that I have finished peeling. Mela looked at.

“Iya, already. Stay iris aja.” I also started to slice her bag.

“Awwh!” I screamed when my index finger was hit by a knife.

“Yes my goodness, Ran! Wh why? Knife, yes?” Mela panicked to see my finger bleed. He ran to get a P3K box. I immediately washed the wound and I gave her red medicine and I wrapped her in hansaplast.

“Mean if the work is focused! Don't dream!” nagel Mela. “Udah, there you sit! Let me keep cooking,” he continued while pushing my shoulder away from the kitchen.

***

At two more hours, I immediately invited Mela and Mang Ule to go to the lake to meet Dian.

“Yeah, Ran, still this hour jug. ‘Kan, the agreement ba’da Asar,” sumpul Mela.

“Udah deh, do not need to menggedumel. Ntar also if you have reached the lake must be at home there,” lipurku. With a lazy step, Mela got into the car.

“Come, Mang, street game!” tell Mang Ule.

“Ready, Non!”

***

After being strayed, the three of us finally arrived at the lake. Thanks to the instructions from the residents we happened to meet on the road earlier.

The lake is getting better. Lots of flowers planted around it. So that adds a beautiful and beautiful impression. This lake is one of the tourist attractions in the village here.

“Wih, it turns out, yes. The place is beautiful,” exclaimed Mela in amazement, while looking around. With Mang Ule.

“What I said. Here the atmosphere is good, the scenery is also beautiful, ‘kan?”

“Iya, Ran. Cool.”

“Ran, I went there first, yes!” pamit Mela's. I opened my eyes and turned towards Mela who was pointing at the pine tree, which grew not far from where I was sitting. Ah, Mela just broke my daydream. “Mau selfi,” he continued. I nodded. Mela then walked closer to the pine tree, and selfi ria there.

After about half an hour passed, Dian came to ride a motorcycle with her husband. I waved at Dian, gesturing her to get closer to here.

“Have a long wait?” tanya Dian after hugging and cipika cipiki with me.

“Lumayan. Half an hour.” Dian nodded.

Evan came closer after parking his bike. In his hands were complete fishing equipment. “I was fishing there first, yes, Dek!” his farewell to Dian while pointing to the north side of the lake. 50 Meters away, from where I am now.

“Iya, Mas!” answer Dian. Evan then left. Mang Ule followed and saw Evan fishing.

“Your husband is a fishing hobby, yes?”

“Hobbies she fishing. This was it if I did not turn over tell him to go fishing. He does not want to bring me here,” replied Dian. While Mela after being satisfied looking for a spot to take pictures to and fro, she approached to greet Dian and then sat down.

The three of us sat facing the lake. Me and Mela flank Dian who was sitting in the middle.

I changed my sitting position to be slightly tilted facing where Dian was on my right side. “Eh, Di, this morning I met Bayu, loh!”

Dian looked over and looked at me. “You're serious?” I nodded. While Mela pretended to be busy checking her photos, even though I was sure her ears were eavesdropping on my conversation with Dian.

“He how now?” ask Dian.

“The more handsome, anyway, if in my opinion. Yes, ‘kan, Mel?”

“Hah?! How am I?” Mela misbehaved. I chuckle. Dian looked at Mela and then looked at me. Dian looked confused.

“What's up, anyway?” ask Dian later.

“Neg. Nothing, kok.” Dian nodded. “Oh yes, I had time to Bayu about Tirta ...”

“Continue, Bayu reply what?” sela Dian's.

“No time to tell everything. You see Bayu got a phone call. His mother is in hospital.”

“Hah?! In the hospital? Why?” cecar Dian's. He still seems to care a lot about Bayu and his family.

“Kata Bayu, his mother has a heartache.”

“Kasian dia,” murmured Dian.

“Iya, pity. Where I never got back, her mother was admitted to which hospital. He's in a real hurry. Our meeting was very short earlier.” Dian nodded. “Tuh, the Mela aja until not satisfied acquaintance with Bayu.” Mela auto turned her head and looked at me annoyed.

“Ish, how about me again, anyway?” ketus Mela's. I put my lips together to hold my laughter. Dian smiled a little.

“Oh yes, earlier Bayu had said that Tirta was liked. Keep cutting the same sound of her phone. Who do you mean, yes, Di?” I started a serious conversation.

Dian took a deep breath and confirmed her sitting position to be slouching towards me. “So, gini the story, Ran. After you moved to the city first, there was a new kid in our school. His name is Sekar, he is obsessed with Tirta.”

“Terus?” I can't wait for the continuation of the story. Mela, who was originally engrossed with her phone screen, is now enthusiastic to listen.

“Sekar is the son of a famous witch doctor in this village. Demon worshippers. Tirta was unwilling with Sekar, but her parents acted recklessly..” Dian stopped his sentence.

“Consistent act how?” my timpals are impatient.

“The house of Tirta burned it was Sekar's parents. Sent banaspati, the genie that resembles a flying fireball. In fact, his mother Tirta was killed in the incident.” Dian wiped her tears.

“Means, now Tirta is an orphan, Di?” my question, Dian nodded in confirming.

“Terus Tirta was winnowed, until now he became like a dazed man, and lived in the shaman's house. She was made a doll by Sekar ..” Dian continued.

“What is the toy, Di?” Mela.

“Every 40 days Tirta is smashed to be crazy about Sekar. It's kind of like a dipelet. No doubt Tirta has been married to Sekar, but according to Pak Lurah their marriage is not recorded,” explained Dian.

“Hah, gather kebo you mean, Di?” guess Mela.

“Maybe,” says Dian.

“Why doesn't anyone help him? Why doesn't anyone care about Tirta, Di?” grumpily.

“Not nobody cares, Ran, and not nobody helps. Mr. Lurah once tried to talk to his family Sekar, asking to release Tirta. As well as suggesting not to let Sekar gather kebo with Tirta, but ...” Dian stopped her words and then let out a long breath.

“But what?” my boy is impatient.

“But, Mr. Lurah even fought with Sekar's parents, and ended his daughter was dragged until her death tragically. Because Mr. Lurah is considered to have interfered with the shaman's business. The citizens became afraid, and did not dare to interfere since that incident. Because Sekar's parents threaten to finish off anyone who dares to disturb his family life,” explained Dian.

"Even all the Tirta brothers who live in this village were also killed using tenung, Ran," continued Dian. Now I understand why the people were scared when I asked about Tirta.

They did not dare to take the risk.

“I also did an astral projection to help Tirta, but ended up in a coma for a few days in the hospital, Ran. I was attacked and my soul was enshrouded by the devil the amulet guard and the Sekar family home.”

I could not hold back the tears, the cries I had been holding back, broke as well. “I have to help Tirta. I don't want him to be called, Di.” I wiped the tears that soaked my cheeks. Then back to Dian. As much as I could I held back the crying.

“Weight, Ran. Our opponents are not ordinary humans, they have supernatural friends who are ready to help. If you really want to help Tirta, first you have to remove the amulet that Sekar's parents have by running it into the sea or burning it. That way his genie won't get in your way. Then the two men of Sekar's parents use moringa leaf water so that the spells they have fade, and you are safe from the spell of witchcraft.”

“But, how do I take the amulet and flush that witch doctor, Di? Getting into their home is hard. You yourself said that the area of their house is guarded by super-powered jinn.” I scrunched my forehead confused.

“I know, now you can see those who are invisible, ‘kan, Ran.”

I frowned more and more in astonishment. “Kok, you can know, Di?” my pedicabs.

“You occasionally glance at the middle of the lake, it's because you saw the creature there, ‘kan?” Dian glanced towards the creature that was in the middle of the lake, and was staring towards the three of us.

Apparently Dian was secretly watching me. Yes, indeed from earlier I did not only communicate with Mela and Dian alone. But also with the creatures waiting for this lake, which is in the form of a human-bodied snake. The female demon seemed uncomfortable with our arrival, she kept trying to tell me to leave. However, I refuse.

Mela who originally listened peacefully, immediately frowned in fear. “Ih, what's in the middle of the lake?” tanyakanya. “Don't nakutin napa!” he continued while wriggling on Dian's arm.

“Udah, no need to discuss. Later he geer,” says Dian.

“You can ask them for help to distract the genies of the shaman's housekeeper,” Dian's advice.

“I don't quite understand how to communicate with them, Di. If later they ask for a reward or what?”

“For that problem, you should try talking to Bayu. I'm sure he'll help you, Ran. Later let Bayu call the friends of the indigo children community to help. If I'm .. sorry, I can't help much. I can only help doain. My family has not allowed me to deal with the occult, Ran.” I nodded in understanding.

“Yes, Di, it's okay. Aided by prayer, it is also more than enough,” my reply.

“But, earlier I did not have time to ask for his mobile number also forgot not nanya Bayu now live where, Di,” continued me.

“Write on your HP. I'll tell you Bayu's home address.”

“Iya, On. Ready!” I nodded enthusiastically, then had Mela record Bayu's address on the notepad in her phone.

“If you want to nolong Tirta, you must prepare everything carefully. Do not be reckless and origin of the road aja.”

“Iya, On. I understand,” sahutku.

Before long Evan and Mang Ule came closer. “Where? Are you done yet?” ask Evan.

“Udah, really, Mas. Why?” reply Dian.

“Back home, yuk! My fishing broke the strings. I think it was stuck something,” explained Evan. Dian and I looked at each other. We both know it was the demon waiting for this lake, today it seems like he is very sensitive.

“I wait on the motor, yes!” farewell Evan, Dian nodded.

“Mamang is also waiting in the car, yes, Non.”

“Iya, Mang. Please!” sahutku. Mang Ule then walked first to where the car was parked.

“He is not really evil. At best he just sniffed people, like he had just cut my husband's fishing string,” explained Dian.

“You sure, Di? You see the appearance of aja serem gitu,” sahutku.

“Originally does not bother him excessively, he will also not harm us, kok.” I nodded to Dian.

“Ih, ah, let's go home!” whine Mela while tugging at my arm.

After hugging and saying goodbye to Dian, Mela and I got in the car.

Dian and her husband passed by the side of our car that was still not driving. I opened the glass and turned my head. “Be careful, In!”

“Yes, you too! If you still have time, sometime stop by my house again, yes!” yelled Dian while passing slowly. I gave a thumbs up as Dian looked back.

“Ih, ogah. Her father-in-law judges, does not look like her,” said Mela.

“Ssth!” hiss while patting Mela's shoulder.

“Emang real, ‘kan?” suhut Mela's.

“Udah ah, don't ghibah!” my snapping. “Mang Road! We're home!” Mang Ule also drove his car. Go home.

Along the way I kept thinking of ways to free Tirta from the snares of the demon worship family. Until my head feels so dizzy.
