“Tirta!”
“Ran, why are you? Dream, yes?” I nodded while stabilizing the breath that was gasping from the nightmare about Tirta earlier.
“Emang what dream, anyway? Sampe cried out to call Tirta that. Keep ampe awake and directly in a sitting position?”
“I dreamin Tirta his body is tied to that fiery red chain. She screams in pain and asks for help, Mel.”
Mela pulled my head and leaned on the side of her shoulder. I could only cry and wonder what really happened to Tirta. It felt impatient waiting for the morning, and quickly met with Dian at the lake so that I immediately knew what Tirta was going through.
“Still at night, we'd better get some more sleep!”
I pulled my head off Mela's shoulder. “Now ah, Mel. I'm going to make coffee.”
“OK. I'll come with you.” I nodded. We went to the kitchen and made coffee.
“Hemmm, smell of coffee, nih!” man Mang Ule. Me and Mela were surprised.
“Mamang mah, ngagetin only!” ketus Mela while rubbing her chest.
Mang Ule chuckled. “Sorry, Non. After that because the aroma of coffee reached the room, mamang so wake up,” he continued.
“Mamang want?” bargain Mela. Mang Ule nodded. “Yes, a minute! I made it first, Mang.” Mela then brewed another cup of coffee for Mang Ule.
After the coffee was over, the three of us enjoyed coffee in the dining room interspersed with chatter.
“The coffee is delicious, unfortunately there is no cement, yes, Non.”
“Bent, Mang! I think I still have cassava chips, deh.” Mela then took the cassava chips and served them on a plate. “Nih,” he said while serving chips on the table.
“Well, gini, right, so add a mantep!” said Mang Ule while taking chips from the plate.
I stopped sipping coffee when I heard a noise from one of the rooms. I tried to sharpen my hearing.
“What's up, Ran?” asked Mela who saw me turning her head.
“You heard a noise, didn't you?” I asked Mela and Mang Ule. They both shakes.
“No, I didn't hear any sound, Ran.”
“Iya, I also did not hear the sound, Non.”
“Maybe the voice of a mouse or a cat,” I told you then tried a fool.
“Can be, Non. You see this afternoon mamang cat entered here,” explained Mang Ule.
We also enjoyed coffee and chips.
Tok tok!
The three of us looked at each other when we suddenly heard the sound of the door being knocked.
“If the sound is terrible,” said Mang Ule in a whispering tone.
“I also denger,” sahut Mela lirih. The next second we compactly saw the clock stuck to the wall. His needle pointed at one in the morning. Then we looked at each other again.
“This evening has a guest? Who?” ask Mang Ule. Mela turned her shoulders.
“We see, yuk!” take me.
“You sure, Ran?” ask Mela.
“Ya, continues? Time for guests to be let?”
With slow steps, the three of us headed to the front door. My hands are ready to open the door. Suddenly the sound of knocking moved to the back door. The three of us turned to the back door. The next moment we looked at each other. Bafflement.
Mang Ule led us to the back door using the movement of his hands. Me and Mela are following. When we reached the dining room, the sound of knocking moved to the front door again.
“Who the hell, such a fad!” mela shouted annoyed. “Mamang open back door, Rania and I open front door!” tell Mela to be upset. Mang Ule nodded in agreement.
“Yuk!” take Mela while pulling my arm to open the front door.
“On the count of three we open the door!” bring Mela. I just nod. “One .... two ... three!”
The door was wide open, but there was no one outside. The sound of knocking was no longer heard. There were only leaves waving as a result of being blown by the wind, and the sound of crickets.
“Aaak!” mela shouted as something flew over her head. He hugged me tightly.
“Quiet, Mel! It's just bat.”
“I saw, Mel.” Mela then let go of her embrace. Then stroked his chest.
“What's up, Non?” asked Mang Ule who ran from inside.
“Free bat, Mang,” obviously.
“Kirain is what. Oh yes, behind no one, Non,” he explained later.
“Here is also nothing, Mang,”.
“Maybe just wind,” timpal Mang Ule.
“Yes times, the wind can knock the door, Mang!” ketus Mela's.
“Already, we're going in, yuk!” take me. Embrace Mela's shoulder and then lead her in, and tell Mang Ule to close the door. I don't want to tell Mela and Mang Ule about what I saw in the corner of the front yard. I don't want to scare them.
“Mang, preferably Mamang back to sleep!” my word.
“Ready, Non.” Mang Ule finished his coffee then went to his room.
“Now, we sleep, yuk!” take me. Mela nodded. Then we went to the room, Mela immediately lay down under the blanket.
While I was still sitting on the back of the bed. These eyes refused to be closed, kept Tirta's mind. I can't wait for tomorrow. I saw the clock on the phone screen. It's still two in the morning. Why does it feel like time is so slow.
I put the phone back on the little table next to the bed. Then lie down and try to close your eyes.
***
I woke up and was in a sitting position.
“Sorry, I am confusing you, yes?” ask Mela.
“No, coke. It's noon, huh?”
“New six hours,” Reply Mela. I cleaned the corner of the eye. Then get out of bed and into the bathroom.
After cleaning myself and changing clothes, I went to the kitchen following Mela who was busy preparing breakfast. “I help what, nih?” my many.
“Please irisin onion, yes, keep frying! We are out of stock of fried onions,” Mela replied. I nodded then followed Mela's orders.
After the menu was cooked, we both served at the dinner table. Then call Mang Ule for breakfast together.
“Early breakfast, how if we go to the market to buy the needs of the kitchen that has been exhausted,” advice Mela.
I nodded in agreement. “Bby.” Itung-itung spend time so that it does not feel long waiting for ba’da Asar.
“Mamang still remember, ‘kan, the market?” ask Mela.
“Still, Non. Safe,” answer. Then we continued breakfast. After breakfast, the three of us went to the market.
Along the way, I just quietly listened to music with earphones while looking at the scenery on the side of the road. Still beautiful on the left and right side of the road overgrown with trees, and cassava plants, corn, also had time to pass through the rice fields that spread widely. Then back through the housing.
I took off the earphone and looked towards the biker who had just overtaken. Kayak is no stranger to bikers, but I have to make sure my eyesight. “Mang, chase the motor in front of it!” tell me while pointing the black ninja bike in front. Mang Ule saw me from the windshield.
“Ready, Non!” replied Mang Ule while nodding.
“Absolutely who rides the motor in front of it, Ran?” ask Mela. I'm sure he's curious.
“I don't know yet, we'll see. My vision is wrong or not.”
“Tirta?” I glanced back at Mela and focused on looking out the window.
“Do not lose track, yes, Mang!” my word, Mang Ule nodded.
Finally, Mang Ule managed to overtake, then signaled by honking the horn so that the ninja motor stopped. Eventually the biker stopped his horse. Even with Mang Ule, stop and pull over the car.
I got down and approached the biker who was still sitting on his bike with both hands resting on the handlebars. Mela caught up with me and stood by me.
The man pulled his bike over on the side of the road. Then he took off his helmet and put it on his bike.
I can't wait for him to turn to me.
After tidying his hair, the man who was standing back to me and Mela turned around. The man scrunched his forehead looking to remember.
The next moment we showed each other. “You!” our exciting compact.
