Chapter 6: Magic

“It's been a few days that I've been living a new life together with Uncle Richard. Thanks to him, I understand a little something about this world, yes. Uncle Richard is a little hard-nosed guy, but he can also sometimes be kid-like.

"I don't understand his own way of thinking. But .. I am grateful that the one who saved me was a good person. My name is Davian, but because of some things I turned him into Dom. So, from now on my new life is to become a Dom Silvestre."

“Hey woke up little boy,” Richard woke Dom from his sleep.

“Ah soon old bangka,” replied Dom while delirious.

“Haa ... old bangka?! Son of the devil,” Richard woke Dom by throwing him with his fists.

“Uaaaaa!” Dom's blown out.

After breakfast, they began their usual activities of hunting monsters. But, ever since Dom started going with Richard, not a single monster had appeared.

“Hey uncle, do you think the monster really exists??” ask Dom.

Where did he come from anyway? Not even understanding ....

“Didn't I say that there are so many monsters in this world.”

“At first I believed, but after a few days walking with you, I started to doubt it.”

“Hoo ... so you don't believe me?!” richard began to get emotional

“Then prove it to me!” shouted Dom who was also provoked.

After that, they split in different directions because they both have high prestige. However, when choosing each path, the unlucky fate is actually experienced by Dom. He met a very strong monster.

“Oh now I believe that the monster exists. But ... why come to me and not that old jackass!!!” Dom started running as fast as he could to get close to Richard.

“Groaaa!!” monster screams.

Richard who saw Dom just watched it and had no intention of helping him.

“Hahaha I told you the monster existed,” Richard said, showing a satisfied expression.

“Stop laughing and help me old man!!! I've reached my limit,” reply Dom who has run far enough.

Oh yeah I forgot this kid hasn't taught me a fighting technique yet.

“Alright, duck.”

Dom obeys Richard's words to bow, but the monster gets closer and prepares to eat him.

“Come do something!” shouted Dom.

“Hehehe look at this. Fire element ... Burst Fire!!!” Richard took out his magic.

“BOOM!!” richard's shot of the monster.

Dom who first witnessed this in his life can only be silent and stunned with his mouth open.

“Woaah, what is like that also in this world??” said Dom.

“Great once uncle. How do I do that??” ask Dom.

“Wuahaha it's because I'm a legend wizard,” replied Richard with his steady face.

His expression made me want to beat him up.

“Already, please help me bring meat from the monster. After that, I'll tell you.”

Dom is surprised to see the meat in the monster because it looks similar to the dish he always eats.

“So ... So all this time I've been eating monster meat?!” said Dom who was surprised and suddenly nauseous after knowing this.

Although still traumatized, Dom still forced himself to carry the meat, because he would starve if not eat it.

After Richard finished preparing the dish, Dom asked again about his promise.

“Hey hurry up and tell me what you did just now,” Dom said.

“Hmm ... What I did earlier was magic.”

“Magic? Could something like that happen?”

“Hadeuhh ... You don't even know about it??” richard said, clapping his hands to his own head.

Dom could only shake his head because he didn't know anything.

Hahh .. This is more annoying than I thought.

Richard began to tell about magic as depicted in the first chapter. Dom tries to remember it, but the explanation given by Richard is too complicated, so Dom doesn't really understand it.

Is this guy crazy? Trying to convey an absurd explanation to a 5-year-old boy. Despite the fact that I am 12 years old, the explanation is still very difficult to understand.

“I am 5-6 years old, how can I understand your explanation.”

“Ah is right too, sorry I am not good at this kind of thing hahaha.”

Finally, after hours of listening to Richard's absurd explanation, Dom was able to grasp the knowledge of magic even though his current mind was about to explode.

After hearing his chatter, I don't want to hear any more explanations from this old man. 

Having not had time to finish his meal trying to make sense of Richard's intentions, Dom fell asleep.

“So so Dom ...,” Richard finished explaining the history of magic.

This boy .. how dare he fall asleep while I'm telling a story ....
