Chapter 18: The Archive

The battle between Richard and the Sphinx.

“Hey are you trying to block me?” Richard stared intently at the Sphinx.

“Grrr ...,” Sphinx could only fall silent and try to exert all his abilities to face Richard

"Boom!"

"Is this just how you are capable of?” richard with a sharp look.

Frantically seeing Richard's overflowing aura, the Sphinx attacked blindly. But ... No one injured Richard's body.

“Looks like you've lost your mind, fire element ... Burst Fire!!!” a fire blast destroyed the monster until it was not left.

“Hah .. I thought you were strong, it was just bluffing. Now ... where should I look for you, Dom.” Richard looked towards the former ruins where Dom had fallen.

Elsewhere, Dom was going through a very dangerous situation from seeing two S rank monsters fighting. Fortunately, his whereabouts are currently unknown to them so Dom still has hope of escaping.

But because Dom was curious about their fight, instead of staying away, Dom instead approached the battle.

“If I run away from here, maybe I will pass a moment that I can only see once in a lifetime.” Dom continued to approach until he could see clearly.

Dom tries to keep walking quietly, until at one time, he accidentally kicks a stone causing a sound that invites both monsters.

“AHH ... why can I be this reckless!!!” Dom starts sweating and cannot control himself.

Woe .. I will die!!!

“Groaaaa!!”

“UWAAA SHE SAW ME!!!” One of the fighting monsters sees Dom's whereabouts and chases him.

“Why are you going after me fucking! Focus on your enemies.” Dom tries to run as hard as he can. However, the monster moves faster thus putting it in danger.”

When one of the fighting monsters flies after Dom, the other one just watches Dom's movements.

“Why can a human be here??” revealed.

His name was Archiven, he was one of the most sought after monsters due to his extremely powerful strength. But even though he was always targeted by many people, Archiven had a relationship with a human.

Seeing a human passing by, making the Archiven recall events in the past.

“Archiven, come here.” Archiven's memory when he was a kid.

“Grrr ...,” Archiven approaching the call.

"Are you going to leave me again?" ask Archiven.

"I'm sorry, but I have business to do ...."

"Why do you have to help people in that kingdom? They're not good people!"

“Liar however, that is my home. Plus, in the future you should be able to be good friends with humans, and don't hurt them, understand?”

“But humans have always been evil to me, they even tried to kill me several times.”

“Humans aren't all evil Archiven, proof I didn't hurt you.”

“But you are different from them ..”

“That man is basically the same creature, one day you will definitely find someone who is the same as me.”

The existence of the Archiven already existed before the human kingdom was formed. Archiven is an ancient mythological creature or commonly called Mystical Spirit Beast. Because it has elemental elements in its body, the Archiven began to be hunted by mankind.

From then on, the Archiven began to hate humans. The monster looked down on humans for just doing it. Man in his eyes is a creature that can only destroy.

But, despite having such a high sense of hatred, the Archiven did not kill humans. Hence, he preferred to hide inside a Dungeon.

But in an incident, some members of the famous kingdom managed to find out the hiding place of the Archiven. The group attacked blindly, leaving the Archiven seriously injured.

As the Archiven was nearing its end, a woman came to his rescue, she was the Flower Silvanna, one of the strongest magicians in the world who was currently, her whereabouts were still unknown.

With his magic, Silvana managed to finish off all the enemies that tried to kill the Archiven. It was still unknown why Silvana was protecting a Mystical Spirit Beast. But thanks to this, Archiven's life was saved.

Before Silvana decided to leave the Spirit Beast. Archiven asked me something.

“That time ... Why did you protect me? Shouldn't you be on their side?” asked Archiven with a sad face.

“Hmm, I have my own reasons. If you want to know, wait until I come back here. After that, I will tell you,” Silvana said as she stroked the head of the Archiven.

Afterwards Silvana makes a protector so that humans do not know the existence of the Archiven and leave mysteriously. However ... The protector was accidentally just destroyed by the Sphinx while fighting against Richard and Dom.

Although Silvana told the Archiven to wait in this place until he returned, but until now the person who held the promise did not come.

“Why do I remember you .. Flower.”
