Chapter 48: Combined Attacks

Zeed and Richard started to give off their respective auras signaling they were starting to get serious.

“Hoo I didn't think you had enough power,” Richard said.

“Shouldn't I have asked like that head of fire?” exclaim Zeed

“Hahaha thanks for the compliment the electrician,” Richard replied.

While giving rise to the aura, Zeed tried to figure out the weakness of the monster. As his partner monitored, Richard began to open the attack.

“I'm coming!!! Fire Element ... Magma Venom!” A collection of hot lava began to be shot by Richard.

“Boom!!” A magma explosion triggered smoke to blanket the place.

“Groaaa!!” shouted Zackal.

But, despite being strong enough, Richard's attack didn't scratch Zackal's body. Instead, Zackal retaliated against Richard's attack using his ice crystals.

“Hey uncle, that monster will rain again!” shouted Dom.

“Ah again this crystal ... Dom watch the sky!” exclaim Richard.

“Groaaaa!” The hail began to fall as before.

“Dudududududel demm!” Smoke again enveloped the place.

Following ….

“If I had been late, maybe the crystal would have hollowed my body,” Dom said.

“You think the next attack will affect us ugly monsters?!” shouted Richard.

On this second attack, the three of them managed to dodge well because they had anticipated the pattern of the hail from Zackal. However .... Richard and Zeed still had difficulty injuring the monster because their attacks had no effect at all

It's strange ... when our magic is strong enough, but why isn't the monster hurt?

“Hey old man, do you have a solution?” ask Zeed.

“Hmm may be the cause because your magic is too weak lightning expert,” replied Richard who gave no solution.

“Ah forget,” reply Zeed.

It's true that my magic isn't strong enough, but that's not what I meant by the head of fire!

“Groaaa!” Zackal again changed the weather climate to be cooler than before. Even around it had appeared ice crystals.

“Wuishh,” wind sound is getting stronger.

“Hachuu! If you know this, I will bring my beloved coat,” exclaimed Richard who had shivered.

“Sial, if this continues, we will freeze to death,” said Zeed.

“Jiii-ji-if it can't attack his body, to .. why don't you guys try to attack the other parts,” Dom replied that was cold and started freezing.

Zeed looked back at the monster's body and noticed more carefully.

So yeah, it looks like this kid is smarter than the head of the fire.

After getting advice from Dom, Zeed finally managed to come up with a solution.

“Hey old man, do you think the pomegranate on his head is just a display?” ask Zeed.

Richard looked over the monster's head and only realized it.

“Hmm, do you intend to attack him?” Richard asked back.

Looking at his reaction, I'm sure this guy just noticed it ….

“If there is a possibility it is his weakness, why not!” exclaim Zeed who then moved.

Quickly, Zeed flew towards the monster with a magic in his right hand.

“Groaaa!” Zackal realizes Zeed's whereabouts.

“If it's true, then I just have to destroy the crystal. Lightning element ... Thunderbolt!”

“Bzzzt .. bzztt .. bomm!”

As predicted by Zeed. The monster was in pain after receiving the Thunderbolt.

But ... Because he felt his weakness was known, the monster made a shield on his head that made it harder.

“Hey hey what is like that allowed?!” exclaim Zeed

“It looks like your attack managed to hurt him, even though only a little hahaha,” said Richard.

“Rather than keep talking, you better start using your new strength old man,” Zeed replied.

“Hah apparently you are very curious about my strength, look at this well.”

“Wussh,” Richard's aura begins to change.

“Release power! Element Summon .. Stardust Bird!”

Dom was so trembling at the other strengths of his teacher, while Zeed only noticed what Richard had just unleashed.

Stardust Bird is a magic that calls monsters with a shape resembling a bird with a feather color like the dark night sky. In his complexion were star-like spots scattered across his fur.

The bird was successfully obtained by Richard when exploring a dungeon in a place that is quite foreign.

Its strongest attack was a sharp puncture with incredible speed and power that created a trajectory effect like a comet's tail behind it, which could pierce any object even steel.

The strength of the summon element depends on how the owner gets the contract from a creature that has been captured or is dead. Contracts can be created if you get the approval of both parties.

If it was already a high-level mage, a summon expert could control the summoned creature within a radius of several kilometers.

“Oaaak!” voices from Stardust Bird.

“Not wrong, the creature is one of the Spirit Beasts. How did this guy get it?” exclaim Zeed.

“Alright, I think I should cast another magic,” Richard grinned.

“Other magic?” ask Dom

After taking out the Stardust Bird. Richard again issued the fire element, but with a different shape.”

“Element Fire .. Amaterasu.” A black flame was created with once being quite vast.

“Groaaa!” Zackal felt a danger sign.

Black fire? I just saw her for the first time.

Unwilling to lose, Zeed casts out his strongest magic.

“This time can beat him. Lightning Element ... Desert Storm!” An electrical storm begins to form along with Richard's black flames.

“Bzzzt .. zzt .. wushhh.” The combination of their magic managed to lock onto Zackal's movements.

Is this the power magic of adults?

“Strong once!!” shouted Dom.

I didn't expect my teacher to be this strong. Who is the real identity of this old man?

“Groaaa!” Zackal looks like he's having trouble getting out.

Being trapped in the magic zone, the two of them attacked again with magic followed by Richard's Stardust Bird.

“Element lightning, Lighing Vortex!” shouted Zeed.

“More Stardust!” His burrow flew rapidly while piercing like a fire spear.

Feeling threatened, Zackal keeps increasing his defenses while trying to attack at full strength.

“Groaaaaaa!!” A gamma ray was created from the mouth of the monster.

Their attacks are against each other. But ... increasingly, Zackal's gamma rays became smaller because they were absorbed by Richard's black fire.

This is certainly an advantage for them. Zeed's magic and Richard's Stardust Bird attack point directly at Zackal's head.

“Goodbye monster,” exclaimed Richard.

“Jeboom!!” Large-scale and powerful explosions occurred.

“Measure! But this is ... UAA!” Dom is knocked down by his own teacher's attack.

The entire area became deforested with no life at all. The field is now just an empty place with the remaining Dom who was also exposed to the explosion of their magic. After that, the Monster vanished and the stone fell down.

“Black fire huh? Terrible once ...,” said Zeed who had a little goosebumps.

“Hey if you guys want to use that kind of magic, please take me to a safe place first damn it!!!” Dom bounced very far away.

“Hah it has been a long time since I used black fire,” said Richard while staring at his stiff palms after using black fire magic.

Afterwards Zeed approached the pomegranate stone to ascertain if it was the item he had been looking for all along.

“Hmm is this the core of life?” ask Zeed.

Because it was rare to get a troublesome mission, Zeed was not very knowledgeable about important matters.

“Hey what are you doing guide??” Richard approached.
