Charlotte, who is currently focused on driving, glanced at Justin from the corner of her eye. The handsome young man was seen sitting quietly with eyes pointing out the car window.
Somehow after saying something that he thought was too sharp, Charlotte immediately felt bad for herself. It was as if Justin was a double-eyed man.
Why does he have to feel bad like this? What's the problem with Justin being offended. Didn't Charlotte never care how other people think of her words.
But still something stuck in his heart when he saw the look on Justin's face that changed because of his words.
"But there are things that make me curious...."
Charlotte returned to talk to open the subject and made Justin turn to her immediately.
"Yes, miss?"
"Do you always use a bike if you go anywhere?" charlotte asked with a curious look.
"Yes" Justin nodded his head.
"But why?"
"Why?" Justin said he didn't understand.
"I mean, why do you always go everywhere on a bike?" charlotte asked again as she turned her car's steering wheel around the corner. "Do you have no other vehicle? Car for example."
Justin turned his gaze to Charlotte a little surprised by the question.
"Not got." retorted Justin shaking his head slowly.
"What about the motorcycle?"
"Not having either."
"Ah, so apparently.... strong also yes.." said Charlotte smiled obliquely while her brain began to think about the non-no.
"Huh?"
"No." Charlotte hurriedly shook her head. "I'm just wondering, don't you feel tired if you have to pedal your bike continuously like that?"
Justin smiled then shook his head faintly. "Of course I'm tired. But that was then, if not now. Maybe because I'm used to it!"
"Why don't you try a motorcycle or a car, maybe?"
"Where do I have money." Justin chuckled softly. "But I don't have a problem. I always thought that riding a bike would make us healthier."
"healthy?"
Justin nodded steadily. But in contrast to Charlotte, the girl instead chuckled amusedly at the sentence.
'What's healthy. You look even more like a skull bone because your body is too thin, Charlotte shook her head with a small smile.
Justin looked at the confusion. "Why are you laughing?"
"Talk about being healthy, it's kind of funny to me."
"Funny?"
"Yes! If you're talking about 'healthy', isn't that something else. I mean, when you want to be healthy you should be exercising, going to the gym, for example." Charlotte chuckles.
"But you, if you use a bicycle everywhere. All right, it's true that it's healthy. But wouldn't you feel so tired compared to healthy?"
Justin nodded, "Yes, I agree with that as well. I'm tired of pedaling."
"Just say it."
"If you want to be healthy, you can go to the gym."
"But I couldn't possibly have time to go to such a place because I had to work day and night. So it is not better if I use the existing goods only. I can work in sports."
Once again Charlotte chuckles. "yes too. I'll agree with what you said." he said.
After the conversation Charlotte chose to be quiet and focused on the streets. The silenced Charlotte also forced Justin to shut up. What else does he have to say? Finally, for a few moments they continued to be silent and busy by their respective minds.
"By the way I've told you that you have a very handsome face."
"yes?"
Justin turned his gaze when he heard the shocking words Charlotte had said to him.
Charlotte took a quick glance at Justin then refocused on the street in front of him.
"There must have been a lot of people telling you that."
"Ah, that problem." Justin was embarrassed.
"I've met a lot of good-looking men. But I've never met anyone like you. You're very handsome."
Justin, who had previously looked down in embarrassment, chose to immediately avoid Charlotte's gaze by turning his face toward the outside of the car window. To be honest, he had indeed very often received the same praise, but this time it felt a bit different because Charlotte said it.
Meanwhile Charlotte just chuckles at Justin's misbehavior,
'Just got that kind of appeal he's already blushed so? Isn't this easy. Yeah, it's too easy to tease him. Cih, if this is how easy it will be for me to invite him to go up to the bed later. Oh my.huh...' Charlotte was just mocking in her heart.
To be honest, it was just a very ordinary sentence for Charlotte. He even said it very casually but somehow managed to make the young man sit so embarrassed. Although Charlotte admitted that his words were true and Justin was very handsome.
"Either I am or you look really nervous right now. Especially when you're looking at me?" Charlotte spoke while smiling sideways. "You always look down embarrassed when you look at me. Do you really like me?"
Justin's body stiffened immediately. His eyes were round as Charlotte again asked him something shocking. Justin hurriedly lowered his head, his eyes flashing nervously, he felt at a loss as to what to answer this question.
'Did she know how I really felt." Justin nodded to himself in his heart.
"Can you raise your face?" charlotte's orders in a firm tone. "Isn't it rude if you duck when someone is talking to you?"
Slowly, Justin finally raised his lowered face.
"So, do you really like me?"
"That's the problem.I..."
"I just asked." she said casually. "I honestly have a lot of experience with men. And from the way you look at me, it seems obvious that you really like me."
"Is that really so?"
Charlotte was silent for a few seconds before finally chuckling then shaking her head.
"You are so easy to lie to it." he said as he continued to laugh amusedly and made Justin frown.
"Looked?"
"Yes" replied Charlotte.
"You lied to me?"
"Of course, yes. How do I know about that anyway? How do I know how others feel about me. Oh my gosh, that's so plain." Charlotte laughed again. "And also. Your facial expression was too funny."
"You look so tense! So I pranked you. Just relax, oke! I was just kidding. You look so surprised." Charlotte shook her head again with a chuckle.
"Ah, yes." replied Justin with a small smile.
Justin gulped his saliva, trying to hold back the nervousness. Deep down he was eager to answer that question. But what is the force of reality hitting him hard.
The fact that he and Charlotte are clearly like heaven and earth.
Charlotte is a beautiful girl.
Famous models.
Super-rich.
Grandchild of an entrepreneur.
And the grandson of his own superior.
All of that realization made Justin aware that there would be no chance for him and Charlotte to be together. And look at this, from what Justin saw Charlotte didn't even feel like she had any feelings for him.
Justin was silent after that. She enjoys time with Charlotte. For him this opportunity, the opportunity to sit together with this girl would not come twice.
Not until ten minutes after the conversation ended, Charlorte finally snapped her car right in front of a bus stop.
Charlotte allows her next view of where Justin is. There, he could see the young man was sleeping soundly with his hands still hugging his backpack in front of his chest.
"He was asleep apparently." murmured Charlotte softly.
Charlotte smiled obliquely, leaning her body on the back of the car seat with the body facing Justin. There was nothing else Charlotte did, the girl just fell silent, looking at Justin's handsome face.
"If she was born into a rich family, I'd make her my girlfriend."
"It would definitely be the standard for the men who approach me if they had to have a more handsome face than him" Charlotte murmured. "It's a shame."
For about five minutes, Charlotte was silent as she looked at the young man before she brought her face closer to Justin's.
"Slap.." praised Charlotte unknowingly.
And the next second Charlotte could feel both of her cheeks heating up. He quickly held both of his cheeks. He felt blushed as he looked at the face of this young man. Somehow he was sure that at this time both his cheeks must have been flushed.
"Wait a minute," Charlotte shook her head tightly.
"Why do I think he's handsome? Yeah well, he's good-looking, but he's definitely not my usual type. He's just an ordinary young man who doesn't even mean anything to me. He's not rich and that's the problem" said the girl rummaging in a soft tone.
After that, Charlotte could see Justin's slowly moving body and the young man started to open both eyes.
Justin blinked softly, looking at Charlotte without saying anything back then. Actually, he was a bit surprised when he realized Charlotte's face was that close to his face.
'Why is Miss Lottie looking at me this close?' inner Justin. Justin's face looks reddened, he withstood the embarrassment. How not, as soon as he opened his eyes, he saw Charlotte looking at him at a very close distance.
Recognize the awkwardness that is happening. Charlotte smiled stiffly. While chortling softly, Charlotte then pulled back her body.
"I just wanted to wake you up. Lookie! We have arrived!" charlotte said as she leaned back against the back of the chair, a disappointed look adorned her face.
"W-what?" Justin asked nervously with a surprised face.
"We've reached the stop you're talking about" Charlotte said once again, trying to clarify her words.
"really?"
Justin peeked outside, into the area around the car and sure enough, the car had stopped right in front of the bus stop.
Justin turned his head back to Charlotte who seemed misbehaved in her position. "Then I go down first."
"Hm." Charlotte nodded slowly without looking at Justin.
Justin smiled doubtfully. He then removed his seat belt and attached both of his backpack straps to his shoulders.
He was about to open the car door before turning back to Charlotte, making the girl's forehead shrivel.
"What's wrong?" ask Charlotte for wonder.
"Miss, the car door is still locked." Justin said slowly.
Charlotte's lips throbbed, while unlocking the door from a nearby button.
"Can't you open it?"
Justin nodded slowly. "No."
"Come down! I opened it." said Charlotte.
Justin nodded and got out of the car.
After getting out of the car, Justin deliberately waited until Charlotte's car passed away. As soon as the car drove back, Justin just stared silently at the departure of Charlotte's car from where he was standing.
"We are truly like heaven and earth" he muttered with a smile.
