Trapped in Love Miss Arogan

Trapped in Love Miss Arogan
3.

Elsewhere, a handsome young man was entering a cafe with awkward steps. Not yet he entered the cafe, his steps stopped due to doubt. He sighed slowly when he saw the cafe was already crowded by visitors.

One fact is, he doesn't like crowds. Being in a crowd like this can only make his head dizzy.

The young man finally walked into the cafe after convincing himself. He looked around the cafe to find someone.

Moments ago he was on the phone by one of his old friends. He was someone he knew when he was in High School. Today, suddenly his friend called him and said he wanted to say something important to him.

"Justin, over here!" exclaimed a beautiful girl, waving at her with a bright smile.

The young man called Justin turned his head and at that very moment he could clearly see the girl he had been looking for since, the girl was sitting casually in the corner of the cafe.

The young man named Justin waved back then quickly stepped his feet towards the girl.

"I'm sorry I'm late, Alicia" Justin said as he sat himself in the chair in front of the girl. "My job was a bit"

"No problem, I've also just arrived." cut the girl named Alicia off quickly, shaking her hand. "I know you're a workaholic."

"Yes, but still, I feel bad."

"Come Justin. We are friends. High School Friend. Things like being late are not big things. So, don't act like we're somebody else, okay."

Justin finally nodded while smiling awkwardly, "So, what's the matter? Why ask to meet me here?" ask Justin.

Hearing the question from Justin the bright smile on Alicia's face instantly faded away. This young man had not changed even since they had not met for quite some time. Justin doesn't like to get stale and always talks straight to the point.

"Why is it such a rush, anyway?"

"Yes, actually my job is still a lot" replied Justin glanced at his phone screen, checking the clock. "I still have to deliver the order again after this."

"You are a determined child."

"Not diligent, Alicia. I work with other people, so I have to work well, don't I?"

"Yes, right. You have no lack. You're handsome, sweet, polite, and determined." praised Alicia, looking so impressed with Justin.

"I'm normal, Alicia." Justin seemed confused as to what to respond to the compliment. He then looked at Alicia seriously, "So, can I know what kind of problem I want to see me in?"

Alicia smile.

"I'd say I meant to call you here" said Alicia, "but we eat first."

"Eat?"

Alicia nodded, "yes."

"We?"

"Yes, we. You and I eat here. Now." said Alicia. He chuckled when he saw Justin showing a shocked expression.

"You called me here to eat?" ask Justin.

"Of course not."

"Then?

"I told you there was something I wanted to tell you. But I want us to eat first."

Justin looked at Alicia confusedly, "Alicia, I don't think I have time to eat with you here." Justin refused. "I told you it wasn't that I had to work."

"Justin, I can pay you for the damages if you think this conversation is a waste of time" Alicia said. "It's important you wait here first, just for a second, okay?"

Justin scratched the back of his head, awkward. "Ah, sorry before, Alicia. The problem is not money. But-"

"But what?"

"But responsibility. I mean, I'm a courier. I even stole some time so we could meet now. My job is not something that money can replace. It's a matter of responsibility."

Alicia sighed, "But-"

"I did not come here to eat, but to talk. You said you wanted to talk to me about something important, right?"

"Yes, it's true. But I think it would be better if we talk while eating. That's why I asked you to order a meal first."

Justin quiet. Honestly, he was uncomfortable with this.

"Come on Justin, you're so stingy at times." protested Alicia. "We haven't seen each other in a long time. I've also been having a hard time contacting you to meet, but instead you're treated like this."

"All right, all right." Justin finally gave up. He felt bad for making his high school friend offended. "I'll wait here a minute."

Alicia's eyes widened, "Really. You want?"

"Yes, but only for a moment. I really can't stay long. I can get fired by my boss later."

"good. Just briefly. As you wish, no problem." Alicia nodded her head in agreement. He opened the menu book on the table and read it one by one. "What do you want to order, by the way?"

"Ah, that's.."Justin hurriedly shook his head. ".actually I'm not hungry yet, so I don't want to order anything. You're the one eating."

Alicia put back the menu book in her hands in disappointment. "What do you mean you don't want any messages?"

"I don't think I'm hungry yet. But I'll wait here longer."

"Ah, is that what it looks like? Though I really wanted to invite you to eat together." the girl put on her sad look.

Justin who saw the sad expression on Alicia's face again felt bad. All this time he never wanted someone to be offended by his words and actions, especially to feel disappointed because he was like this.

"I'm really still full. But I can still drink and eat snacks. Doesn't it matter?"

"You want to?" Alicia smiled back. "No problem, of course. Then let me pay."

"No, I can pay for it myself. When you were in school you used to treat me to the cafeteria."

"Come, Justin. Where often. I rarely treat you compared to Charlie, do I?" alicia said she reopened the menu book in her hand.

Alicia then called the waiter. After ordering a menu for herself, Alicia then looked at Justin.

"What do you want to order?"

"I'm up to it."

"How about I order you coffee, same as me."

Justin nodded awkwardly. "Coffee can be too."

"Alright," Alicia smiled happily. He ordered a menu for Justin.

After a long wait, the ordered food finally came. Alicia immediately enjoyed her meal cheerfully, while Justin still looked awkward. To be honest, Justin wasn't comfortable being in the cafe at his work hours like this.

At first, Justin was willing to come here because Alicia said she wanted to talk to him about something.

"Would you eat this?" Alicia looked at Justin who looked dreamy while lifting a spoon filled with food and was immediately replied with a sleigh by Justin.

"No, thank you."

"And why are you just silent. The snack in front of you is waiting to be eaten, huh!"

"Ah, yes." Justin stabbed the food in front of him with a flatware.

"Nake?" ask Alicia.

"The waiter says this is the number one snack at this cafe."

Justin just got a beard while enjoying his food. Alicia put down her spoon and looked at Justin.

"Thank you for coming by the way."

"No problem. I'm glad to see my schoolmate again."

Alicia nodded.

"I'm lucky to know you, Justin."

"I'm the same, Alicia. During school you helped me a lot when I needed something."

"Yes, my help is nothing. You helped me so much that I graduated with a very satisfying grade."

"That's the case.I don't find it too useful. I'm just helping out as I can."

"You're a very humble hobby." Alicia smiled as she shook her head, "By the way. How was your life all along? It's been a long time since we've met."

Justin drank his drink. "I'm mediocre. I go to college, I work."

"Same as before. School and work are your life."

"True, I have to work to meet my daily needs" Justin said.

Alicia looked at Justin. Honestly, since the first school he had felt sympathy with Justin. He was eager to help the young man with his abilities but Justin always refused.

During this time secretly Alicia also keeps feelings for Justin but can not express anything considering Justin is a closed person. But now, after they graduated and split the campus, Alicia did not want to waste any more time expressing her feelings.

If Justin accepts, he will make the young man's life happy. Justin does not need to work anymore because after this he will help support Justin.

Alicia cleared her throat for a while before then leaning her body closer to Justin.

"Actually I want to tell you something, Justin."

"Yes? Wanna say what?"

"Look.." Alicia sighed nervously, then reached out her hand touching Justin's hand.

Justin looked at Alicia's hand touching him and looked at the girl's face. "What's Alicia doing?"

"Justin.. I want you to be my girlfriend!" alicia said, her eyes staring at Justin full of determination.

Justin who heard that expression blinked both his eyes.

"What?" justin asked as if he hadn't heard Alicia's words just now.

"So my girlfriend." repeated the girl again.

Justin smiled awkwardly.

"Don't joke, Alicia. What are you saying?"

"I'm not kidding. I seriously. L like you. And I don't like seeing you torture yourself by working hard like this. Be my girlfriend and stop working. I'll finance your life."

Justin pulled Alicia's hand from his hand. "Alicia, you-"

"Please Justin, I've liked you for a long time. During that time also my heart was sad to see you exhausted from work. Be my girlfriend, and we'll live happily together."

"Alicia, we're best friends. You and I can't be a couple."

"Why can't Justin?"

"Because I don't like you."

"Am I less beautiful to you?"

"You're perfect, Alicia. But I can't think of you as more than a friend. I don't like you more than friends."

Alicia pulled back her body and looked at Alvin fixedly. "I knew you'd turn me down. You've always rejected everyone."

Justin lowered his head, "excuse me Alice,"

"No. Don't apologize, you didn't make a mistake. And I don't think what I'm doing is wrong either. I really like you and I'm happy to express my feelings. But Justin…"

"Yes?"

"Just work in my father's office. I can help you get into a high position. Besides, my dad likes you, too, he wouldn't mind."

"No need, Alice. I am happy with my current job. His salary is also enough for my needs."

"But you must be tired of working as a courier."

"That's natural, Alicia. Everyone should feel what fatigue is."

Alicia grunting. "After rejecting me, now you're insinuating me spoiled, huh?"

Alicia's words made Justin chuckle.

"But what expression of my feelings bothers you?" ask Alicia.

"Yes, honestly that surprised me. But I have absolutely no problem with that."

Alicia nodded in understanding. Everyone would be surprised if his best friend suddenly expressed his feelings.

"Ec, Justin. After this can we just be ordinary? Like nothing happened?"

"Of course."

"I'm glad you're not mad."

"It is precisely I who am glad that you are not angry with me for refusing to accept you."

"My intention is to express my feelings. Not accepted no problem. As long as you know everything I feel. We'll be different campuses. I just don't want us to split up without telling you anything."

Justin nodded.

"Now I know. I can only say thank you." Justin said. "We can still meet after this."

"I felt that we would rarely meet. You'll be busy with your studies and work. And I'm gonna be busy with my college."

"Totally so." Justin nodded. "By the way, I think I should go now. My job's waiting."

Alicia nodded in understanding. "Excite, okay!"

Justin nodded then got up and immediately stepped away leaving Alicia. Alicia smiled as she looked at the young man's departure. Since school, Justin has not been easy. They are rarely close to women. Only Alicia was a woman who managed to become his best friend.

Actually when he was in High School, a lot of women who liked Justin but the young man always rejected them. And now Alicia is also on the rejected list.

Shaking her head, Alicia smiled briefly. "Who will succeed in conquering her and becoming her lover."
