As a result of the fruit of Abraham's patience and fortitude in carrying out the commandments of Allah, with a sincere and heartfelt trust in His Lord. Allah also gave him a gift that Allah has given his own title to him with the title, “Khalilullah” (lover of God).
Eid al-Adha is the day when Muslims draw near to Allah. Loh, why is that. Is it not every day that we are encouraged to draw closer to Him? That is, for Muslims who are given the ability to perform Hajj to Baitullah. They have brought themselves closer to Allah with a true approach. As for the Muslims who have not had the opportunity to perform Hajj, then they are encouraged to sacrifice only.
On the 9th of Dzulhijjah, before the implementation of the Eid al-Adha Day. The Hajj pilgrims will perform the main haj pilgrimage series, namely wukuf in Padang Arafah. In Arabic Wukuf means stop. Therefore, all Hajj pilgrims who are wukuf in Arafah are encouraged to stop themselves from all earthly activities, then stay silent and gather for a moment in the Field of Arafat to pray a do'a to Allah.
Why is wukuf the most important worship in the Hajj? Because wukuf is a ritual of worship that determines one's hajj.
In the Field of Arafah is also a new phase of life for the first man, which God sent down to the earth. Who else if not the Prophet Adam USA. Yes, after his repentance was received by Allah, there Adam was reunited with his wife Siti Hawa. That said, Arafah is also a symbol to know God more deeply.
There, the Hajj pilgrims will contemplate all his sins. Begging for forgiveness for all his mistakes. Also ask for guidance if his life is currently still deviating from His teachings. Currently, the santri and santriah have finished performing the Eid al-Adha Day prayer. Yep, they are not disbursed from Pesantren. It is precisely this moment of togetherness of Eid al-Adha that is most memorable in the recesses of the santri, because they will have fun for three full days after Eid al-Adha.
Having fun here means that the students do not carry out their usual teaching activities. Instead they will make a big event, where the santri each create and show each other's talent in a race that is routinely held on Eid al-Adha.
On the first day, of course the prince santri will slaughter goats and cows distributed to their huts. On that day, the santri held a cooking competition, both for the santri prince and princess. All in the same level and no one does not follow the race.
Incidentally, this Ar-Rizqon boarding school has a large land, like a large field. Sometimes santri putera often use the field to play ball at the weekend. But now, the field is used by the students and students for cooking competitions.
Yep, this time santri was given the opportunity to cook all day. There they cook using makeshift kitchen tools, depending on the tools available in their respective rooms. Each room consists of 10 people and they are free to cook anything, because the caretaker santri provide 1 kg of rice equipment for each room, for each room, beef or goat that has been slaughtered as much as 1 medium crackle and limited kitchen spices to complete the cooking equipment.
